Great story. You should continue this, I'd like to see Draco's reaction to seeing Astoria as Harry's date for the Yule Ball! Maybe Ron's reaction as well, since he hates anybody in Slytherin, to where he tries 'confronting' Harry about it.

I like the way this story has started and I think it has the promise to be much more than a one-shot.

In fact, as it stands there are some matters that need to be cleared up:

The Yule Ball happens before the Second task not after.

Why would a Marriage contract be made with Astoria the second daughter, and not with Daphne?

If they in fact have a marriage contract, why would Draco not be taking Astoria to the Bal, or is this just a matter of Malfoy assuming she'd be waiting for his summons?

I am sure there are other issues but I can't think of them at the moment.

This is too interesting an idea and too truncated as a one-shot for it not to get a full treatment.
