I feel like Helga's family life was downplayed, unfortunately; that's not a 'look at the bright side' fix kind of situation.

Your Arnold was perfect. I don't know if you remember me but I left a really sappy review last time I stumbled upon one of your stories. Meh. But idk you get it. ArnoldxHelga dynamic you got it. From Helga's pretend and real brashness to Arnold's homelife. The in betweens with you are always the best. They don't drag and they're not overly introspective. Practically written like real life bc I sure as hell won't think like a whole paragraph about the morning dew and shit. The little bombs of epiphanies you drop are well placed.

This was sweet. I'm glad that I stumbled upon this. I think the premise of the story is right: when Helga and Arnold have time together acting as themselves, they get to the main idea much faster than when their friends/assorted peanut gallery members are around to muddy the waters.
