This is so amazing, and so creepily disturbing. A perfect depiction of Stockholm Syndrome "love". It's hard to accept, but you make it very real, which in turn makes it very hard to read - if that makes any sense.

I love the hint at the end that even though their positions may soon be reversed, their feelings for each other may never change.

I love Luna too much to enjoy reading about her torture, but your handling of the psychological impact of torture on both these teenagers made it all worthwhile. I took a chance on the story because you classified it as horror/drama; so many would call this romance.

I think I recognize your name as the author of one of my favorite unfinished stories. If you did indeed write "Courting the Moon" I am amazed at your skill. The stories could not be more different. (And if you ever get an urge to add to add to "Courting..." you would make at least one of your readers a very happy woman.
