I really don't think any of this is okay. I'm more upset for katara in this fic than I ever have been even in fics where she's literally raped and tortured. Im really afraid to hit next chapter and find her having forgiven and gotten over it because she shouldn't. This is so messed up. She shouldn't forgive them, she should get the hell out of there. I'm guessing she's the avatar, and what I'm hoping is that they tell her and she just leaves. Or she agrees to train, but not interact with any of these people and once she's trained she goes away and protects herself from these manipulative fucks.

man, I just read that last chapter on why u aint updating and I understand and send my condolences. I've also been thru my fair share of tough shit, esp in my family and I would pour out all my emotions into a story or drawing and it always helped, not to mention the feelings that are radiating thru the finished piece when I look at it at a later time. So when I'm feeling depressed or angry, I write. I think that maybe the same technique would work with you and the feels would really help pump the emotion into the story.

I'm sorry for you lost, I hope that time and the love of your family and friends help you to go through such times. I love this story, I hadn't check it in a while for many reasons, most of all lack of time. I hope yoy decide to continue with you story at some point, but do not fprce yourself to do something you feel you can't continue. Feel better, amd have a prosperous new year
