Isn't this one of those cases where you were jsut as bad as the one doing the bullying, by just standing by and not doing anything? And not only not doing anything, but abandoning the girl in question (as the only person she has opened up to), therefore continuing to submit her to hurtful situations as her peers will then go "I told you he would leave her!" and "Now she doesn't have a familiar along with zero magic ability!".
