I agree with goodpie2
Goodpie2 chapter 23 . 5/22/2017
*Sighs.* This is where we part ways, I suppose. I haven't been leaving reviews for the previous chapters, and I feel kinda lousy about that so here's a really big one:

Sable was, over all, very well characterized. Power hungry, reckless, completely ruthless, and ambitious beyond reason. 90% of the time. There were little hiccups from time to time, though, where she seemed to have way too much of a conscious for a member of the Dark Brotherhood. I'm not even talking about the scene with the orphanage. With the chick who hired her to kill her ex, for example, Sable seemed too concerned with the idea that the ex actually deserved to die. Most of the time though, she was well characterized. I also enjoyed how much extra *depth* you provided to the story and the NPCs. Little things, like the nicknames and inside jokes, did a tremendous amount to turn them from random NPCs that all die anyway into actual people. Good job on that.

However, pretty much everything with Sionis was a turn-off. She started to trust him *way* too quickly, and I find it hard to imagine that she got that attached to him after a single conversation. It was even worse on Sionis's part, such as when he thought of Sable when he was talking about love. They'd had a grand total of two conversations at that point, and one of them consisted of little other than Sionis blaming her for his sister's death. I get that you want to ship these, two, and I would too, but you really jumped the gun on that.

The dealbreaker, though, was this chapter. Sable *should not have said yes.* Firstly, she shouldn't have been dumb enough to accept that condition in the first place- any time someone demands that you accept a deal without actually hearing the deal, the correct answer is "Fuck no." But once she heard what the actual contract was? That was dumb. "Oh, you already gave your word." Yeah, and then you asked me to *kill a god.* Fuck that. The whole thing just slaughtered SOD, and there's little enough left of the story that this will probably be the central plot for the remainder. It's been a lot of fun, but I'm gonna stop reading here.
Draco Oblivion chapter 32 . 4/19/2017
Hahaha did he just turn her into a pureblood vampire? I suppose they aren't exactly the same since they're Molag Bal's creatures but maybe a decent copy? I'm thinking even Astrid has to recognise that there is a point where someone is beyond competing against and all jealousy is futile
Draco Oblivion chapter 31 . 4/19/2017
Will it be something about the enchantment that let her kill the Prince? Will she have absorbed some of that power she was promised?
Draco Oblivion chapter 30 . 4/19/2017
Oooh, so stabbing him without killing him is enough of a betrayal. Feel it'd be a little pointless if she actually killed him, might as well just take the power at that point.
Draco Oblivion chapter 29 . 4/19/2017
So the manner of betrayal needed for the summoning has been revealed. I've decided I now want Sidonis to figure it out and turn on Sable for a chance at revenge. Sadism for the win!
Draco Oblivion chapter 28 . 4/19/2017
Don't judge me but I kinda want her to kill him. Sable is interesting in how dark she is and she'd lose that if she went through the classic redemption fuels by love storyline. I suppose it'd be interesting for her to corrupt him though but I'm still unsure how I'd feel about them successfully killing a Daedric Prince to be honest
Draco Oblivion chapter 23 . 4/19/2017
Hehe can't deny it's adorable that nothing gets her flustered like compliments to her skill as an assassin. Also yay Thalmor break in, much more sensible than canon (no idea how Delphine survived so long when she's willing to risk such major assets so randomly for a hunch)
Draco Oblivion chapter 22 . 4/19/2017
Haha I suppose you just had to do something to equal the assassination of the emperor. Also loved her response to the kiss, kinda worried ever since he'd been introduced that this would be how the protagonist would die. Like many a fiction female character she would be subsumed by her love interest and left as nothing but an impotent and depressing extension of her partner
Draco Oblivion chapter 20 . 4/19/2017
Well hopefully this master isn't a Daedric Prince, he didn't manage to put up much of a Fight against the last one he met
Draco Oblivion chapter 19 . 4/19/2017
Huh, well this is interesting. Looking forward to seeing where you take it. I'd actually thought she'd be a vampire and he'd get to mock Sable over being turned first
Draco Oblivion chapter 16 . 4/19/2017
Damn, always love a badass Babette and I was right about wanting to become a vampire. I'd imagine with her obsession about domination she'd like to meet Harmon though they might end up tearing each other's throats out. Also nice to see she hasn't forgotten Sionis
Draco Oblivion chapter 15 . 4/19/2017
Damn, Sable and Sionis were looking so cute together. Aw well, their misfortune just gives the family time to shine!
Draco Oblivion chapter 14 . 4/19/2017
So Varskil was a vampire? Either way, interesting mission.
Draco Oblivion chapter 12 . 4/19/2017
Wow, turning into a bit if an adrenaline junkie blood knight ain't she?
