| WatchHeart7076 chapter 23 . 7/2/2017 I stop reading here. Unfortunately, I can't go further. Your writing is very good, but it's the way the story turns out that I dislike. In the beginning, I thought the Sansa you pictured would be tougher. I mean, she escaped from the Eyrie on her own, spent three days in the woods alone, nursed the big bad Hound back to health and used her daggers to defend herself. Now, she is back to the weak caged little bird she was when she was in King's Landing. And even then, she kept fighting Joffrey, telling him things he didn't want to hear. She wouldn't be all nice and accept Tywin's gifts and Jaime's protection if she truly hated the Lannisters. She is very OOC. Like all the other characters. Meryn Trant wanting forgiveness? Come on! He enjoyed beating her. Tywin Lannister wanting Sansa's well-being? Even less convincing. The Hound loving Sansa, and yet letting her marry Tywin without at least trying something to stop it? Even Arya should've argued more than that. I feel like everything is wrong. In the summary, you mention the Free Cities. It's kind of misleading since they don't even go there. The moment they get to Braavos, they go back to Westeros. So, the whole trip was kind of useless. I tried very hard to enjoy the story and to understand the changes in the characters and the many plot twists that barely make sense. But I can't, I'm sorry. Your writing is good, you have a talent, really. But I feel like you do not know where this story is going. I definitely do not. I was here for SanSan. And I ended up disappointed. Not much happened between them, and then all of a sudden, Sandor says he loves Sansa and he kisses her. That was messed up. The kiss would've been good without the "I love you", because nothing led to that "I love you". It felt empty. I haven't seen no bond creating between them. Not made of love. Trust, gratitude and a growing attachement, maybe. Desire on Sandor's part. But not love. Not yet, anyway. Still, thank you for sharing this. Please, don't stop writing. You have a talent, keep working on it :) |
