I was thinking how great it was that you kept Klaus and Caroline together but then in the end they were separated. I'm disappointed not to have a happy ending but I enjoyed the story up until the last 1/3 of it. Then it seemed like you just kept breaking them up and having Klaus leave or threaten to leave Caroline and it was hard to care about them at that point. It started off really strong though and it was a fun read for the most part.

After all the things that Klaus went through to get Caroline to love him & to be with him, how could he just let her & the kids leave like that? Obviously, he didn't love her enuff or her love wasn't enuff...he should've just left her with Enzo...
