Awww this is epic!

"Patience, young Padawan"

Nice touch! I love the way Scott knows that he has to prove this point to John, and the trust between them was brilliantly written. Also I love how Gordon "subjected" Alan. Hehe. You can just imagine Gordon abandoning him and leaving him for the Jelly fish! Great story! :)

Very nice story.
whirlgirl chapter 2 . 10/3/2013
What a great little story. Loved how John needed to "wade an mile in their shoes" to understand how valued and important he and his role as communicator for I.R. is to the victims. I understand him wanting to "hands on" help with rescues but I'm glad Scott helped him see the light. Especially after that little " your OTHER left" comment. Loved that ALL the brothers were put in that vulnerable situation as a lesson. Keeps 'em humble.
Tikatu chapter 2 . 10/3/2013
A very cool way for Scott to teach John how much he is needed and how important his role is in the whole rescue operation. Interesting that Jeff had to teach this to Scott; didn't he realize until then how important John's role was? Also love that this was a domino effect-each brother teaching the other about John's role until it finally comes down to John himself. Hopefully Alan learned more about what HIS role was supposed to be when he was on duty in Thunderbird Five.

Great story, Kat. Putting it in favorites.
thunderbird5 chapter 2 . 10/3/2013
Thanks for letting the point hit home. You made me remember that I’m the voice no matter who’s switchboard or call center I work at. What Scott said in this story are oh so true, many people had thanked me for making them smile or calm down when they were worried about who might be on the other side of the phone. I guess that I have to remember that we have a important job and that we can turn someone’s day around.
Amberdon1 chapter 2 . 10/3/2013
Very nice story idea
Xenitha chapter 2 . 10/3/2013
Nice story, Kat. It's good to see this under-appreciated Tracy brother get some acknowledgment.

Loved it xx
thunderbird5 chapter 1 . 10/3/2013
You know, I should say thank you for starting this story. As a switchboard operator/call center agent or even a normal communications operator for my family I to feel left out of things. So hopefully the next chapter would show me how Important or not my job really are to those around me and to those I would be working for.

Now I liked that and can't wait till part two well done xxxx
