Though you have a pretty mediocre character description you have a really good grasp on the characters dialogue and behaviour and appreciate how vlad still remains in character depite the "truce". I also love all these snippets of the past that can give reason to vlad being 'vlad'.

Before I continue and read the rest, I must say that I just absolutely LOVE this! There are like no stories focusing on vlad's past after he got his powers. This is super in character and interesting and I love it! The idea of clockwork showing danny all this was awesome and I can definitely see that actually happening in the show. So glad you continued!

Very good scenes indeed, to bad they were cut fnot on the fic but glad we got to see them in the end.

Oh wow this was amazing. Your perspective on Vlad's life was very detailed and you covered everything that the man could have lie/done in the show. And also, it wasn't sappy in the least! I'm afraid my own bonding Vlad and Danny moments are a bit too sappy. But yours were very nice and how they would honestly be.

I can't wait to read the sequel. The ending to this one was too cute!

This is developing into a very interesting story. Vlad has always been a much better villain because of the complicated past and relative depth of character. You take it further giving us some more information of his past and making sense of some of the inconsistencies in the series.

You also bring up the question of what Danny is going to do with this information even without the added incentive of Clockwork's warning.

I liked the way you had Danny and Vlad have a big fight when Danny confronted Vlad with his new knowledge, but not with each other.

Oh wow - this is an amazing story! I loved practically everything about it! I like the fact that you made Vlad's mother actually care about her son and the whole Vlad teaching Danny the way his father taught him - talk about learnt behaviour! I'm sure Jazz is having a field day with all this psychology! (Well I can see she is :P). Overall Vlad's past in this story has got to be one of the most believable I've read - I really felt so sorry for the young Vlad there :(.
This last chapter was incredible! The fight scene was brilliantly paced and the interaction between Danny and Vlad was very well written and in character which I bet was quite hard to do! Writing Vlad as a character with a conscience is certainly a challenge especially when he's so stubborn!
Plus your writing is really descriptive with all your different scenes - you certainly have a stunning imagination!
Please do the sequel, I love a bit of Danny and Vlad bonding! (Oh and Jazz needs to be there too - Jazz and Vlad bonding is just so rare to come across :P)
