Reviews for Two Roads West
more from LLes chapter 2 . 11/3/2003
sorry, but this story is. . . not what i expected. First of all, why does Galadriel sound so evil, so demanding? I mean, i know she's all that persuasive and someone you couldn't take advantage of, but here, she just sounded bossy.

Well, that's my rant. I didin't mean it if i made you feel that your fic is bad- i liked it, but, it's juat that problem. Hope you write a sequel, since, this is a good fic. namarie.

Great.
Nerweniel chapter 2 . 6/26/2003
This story is one of the most beautiful I've ever read. Truly.
Siberia1 chapter 2 . 2/13/2003
This story was fantastic! I love your attention to detail. Galadriel and Celeborn are my second second-favourite LOTR couple, and I must say that you've captured them brilliantly! I always wondered why they seperated, and reading this fan fic helped me to answer all of my questions.

I have one little gripe, though. I don't believe there was any coffee in Middle-Earth. Historically, coffee originated in Africa, and then it was discovered by the Arabs. Europeans only commenced to consume coffee after they had begun colonizing other nations. There's also something weird about Elves drinking coffee. I would imagine that they like tea (or even plain old water), just because it seems more natural.
Ferret Kunoichi chapter 2 . 1/20/2003
That was so sad! But it was great. Matbe, make a sequel? Please?
heartnut chapter 2 . 1/10/2003
::le sigh:: So beautiful. Nice idea. I loved it! :) Must write their reunion sometime soon! :)
burningflame chapter 2 . 10/10/2002
Please carry on! This story just caught my attention: the idea of writing about their 'Two roads west' is a great one. I love the way you describe them both, but most of all, your attention to detail brings the story to life! Carry on!
Ithilwen too lazy to log in chapter 2 . 9/19/2002
I'm glad to finally see this posted! You portray the simultaneous tension and love between Galadriel and Celeborn very well, and you make sense of their separation - she is simply tired in a way he is not. I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with this next - I hope you'll show the readers more of Celeborn's life after the departure of his wife, and what finally drives him to make his own decision to sail.
Estaban chapter 2 . 9/19/2002
Aw,it's so sad, I really love how the story goes, you should continue, I want to see their reunion in Valinor.
