I'm really enjoying this story. I hope you keep writing. Now that Cenred knows I'm nervous to see what happens. Will Uther ever find out about Merlin's magic? I hope you update soon.

It had been a long journey since I started to read the first chapter. I am mostly a silent reader but this story finally made me cave in! I can't help but imagine little Merlin running around and helping Arthur! So cute! I hope you will continue writing and will always stay safe and healthyThank you for your story, it's one of the little joys I experience nowadays

I think I've read this three times. I can't help it, I'm so enchanted by this little Merlin, and the world you've created. I hope you never abandon this because I need to know if Cendred gets his hands on Merlin again (he better not!) if Arthur's intriguing little pangs of jealousy ever amount to anything, what happens with Mordred, if Morgana stays an ally, the fate of Gwaine and Lancelot and if Uther ever finds out.

*Poor Mordred in all of this. I really shouldn't quick fast review in my excitement, that I don't even bother to re-read what I wrote, first. LOL

I don't know how I never found this before, but holy crap, I read it all in one go and nearly shouted when I'd reached the point where no next button exists. I'll admit I almost stopped reading when we got the intimate nature of the abuse, and the many references to it momentarily jolted me out of the story. BUT the story is way too good to stop reading over it so I just skim over it. Really the abuse Merlin suffered was horrific enough without it. More Mordred in all of this. I wish there was some way for them to save him. Super loved Lancelot, and hope they fine Gwaine. I want Hunith to be ok, but then again I kinda don't because then Merlin wouldn't need to be Uther's ward and I love this version of that plot.

I really cannot wait for the next chapter.

I got behind on this while school was finishing up, but I finally found time to catch up tonight, and WOW, what a ride!

I just wanted you to know that I'm still here, still loving this, and still anxiously awaiting updates. This is seriously a brilliant fic and you should be so proud of it! I adore little Merlin, and ache for what he's been through but love that he's learning to overcome. And I'm SO worried what will happen now!

Thanks for the update...always do look forward to more of this particular story...it's one of the best on this FanFic site. Also looking forward to reading more about Merlin's friendship with Arien who seems like he would be a good older brotherly type to Merlin. Perhaps we can read a chapter where they are a bit mischievous [e.g. they play a prank on the knights...one where no one gets hurt, but Arthur has to discipline them both for their actions...Hopefully, Merlin doesn't stay mad at Arthur after this and understands his punishment]

My favorite part is that the whooole story is long! It is always a pleasure to read so much! Thanks again!

Awesome to see an update on this story! It’s interesting to see how things are different because of Merlin being a kid and more open. I really hope Cenred never gets his hands on him again. I’m worried for poor Merlin! Awesome chapter though! Looking forward to more!

My favourite part in this chapter is also with arien, I'm so glad merlin is getting a chance to be a kid finally. ;) great chapter, well written. Can't wait for the next one!

This was FANTASTIC! The interactions with Arien were adorable and I love how you handled the wraith situation - things are definitely brewing in the plot department :3

I loved Merlin developing a friendship, I think it would be great to see Arien protect Merlin from being bullied by some other kids(maybe new visitors, or Arien's sort of friend who picked on Merlin before)

I'm glad you didn't let Uther wield excalibur, that always bugged me in the show
