| tersaseda chapter 1 . 11/1/2013 Gah, so so soooooooooooooo beautiful. Just...beautiful. Her vulnerability and hesitancy and attraction and hope all dovetail perfectly. Favorite parts: "Emma thinks he'll let her, it's terrifying but she thinks he'll hold on just as tight." I think so, too! "And he's looking at her like she's important, not because of her parents' True Love or some prophecy about a Savior, but Emma the orphan, the lost and lonely." I am so glad you brought this out for her...it bugs me that people, even her own parents, can't see her beyond those two facets...all they see (or at least before the Lost Girl episode) was the expectation of their child and how she fit into their Enchanted Forest life. But Killian can see the sum of all the parts of her, and loves her for all that she is. Well, I say love but we honestly don't know yet...but I suspect strong, strong feelings. Thank you for sharing your talent! |

| icearrows1200 chapter 1 . 10/20/2013 This was seriously just so, so great. I look all over the place for a good Captain Swan fic, but to no avail. This was fantastic in that every last word was perfect for Emma's desperate and conflicted thoughts. She found solace in Hook because he is always there for her, always boosting her confidence and helping her, when her subconscious can only remember that Neal was not there for her. In all honesty I hope that this is exactly how it goes in next week's episode. I hope to read more by you, as you are a fantastic and descriptive writer. Keep it up! |
