I got two of the references...
1) Umbitch from Harry Potter
2) John Diggle from Arrow
mfaerie32 chapter 4 . 7/4/2016
He's even treating Sam like a toddler in this fic. It's always irked me that he seems to forget that Sam is an adult. Yes I get that he's the big brother, but he needs to loosen the umbilical cord. Sam is not helpless. He needs to have some faith in his brother as well.
kat4543 chapter 15 . 2/29/2016

YES PLEASE I would love a sequel! This is such a good story and I NEED Dean to be okay and have his happy ending with cas, it can't be left like that, I would love you forever if you did a sequel 3
Tie-Dyed Broadway chapter 15 . 2/28/2016
Of course I want a sequel, why wouldn't I want a sequel, you're practially murdering me here, what with all the angst and tears. I started banging my head against the wall when I read about the sexual abuse. NO ONE should have to deal with that.

So gimme a sequel, darnit!

... Please?
Taneesha chapter 15 . 2/28/2016

I agree with Dean; Linette is a badass.

Can't wait for more! Band nerds unite!
Tie-Dyed Broadway chapter 9 . 11/8/2015
I'm really terrible at this, not to mention I was right about it being over.

Was the whole Sheldon from Big Bang Theory a reference? If it wasn't, then the Dean and the seven dwarves more than likely wasn't either. Dean and the company of dwarves and Gandalf would have probably been more accurate, anyway. ; )

The “do you wanna build a snowman” was a hopefully definite Frozen reference.

That football game reminded me of our most recent one against Pearsall. We won 22-14, and they played DIRTY. They kept tripping our players, and during third quarter one of our guys was rushed to the hospital. I don't know much, since the band was having their third quarter break, but I hear he had a broken collarbone.

Anyways, Pearsall wouldn't take a knee anytime someone was injured, they actually had to announce over the speakers, “hey, be quiet, a player is injured”, and whenever the injured player got off the field, the fans would start shouting and laughing. Not to mention the football players came out of the locker rooms whooping and hollering during the National Anthem.

We were baying for blood after that.

I don't know what football is like where you're from, but I'm pretty sure the band is always in the stands until halftime, when they do their show and end with the fight song. The only time the band is on the field during pregame is on Homecoming, and even then not all bands do that. Stand tunes are really fun; what did they play? This year, we have Shake It Off, Louie Louie, Hot Stuff, Shout It Out, Seven Nation Army, The Final Countdown, The Hey Song, The Horse (we're the Warhorse band; quite the pun), Halftime, Land of 1,000 Dances, All of The Lights (we never play it), Happy (we never play that one either), and Y.M.C.A. (We play that one sparingly). Those are the ones I can remember off of the top of my head.

I really don't mean to offend you; I just take marching band seriously, and wanted to know if you've ever seen a marching band. If that is the norm for your school's football games, then I apologize; I just wanted to make sure.
Tie-Dyed Broadway chapter 8 . 11/8/2015
I scrolled right to the bottom, because I was unable to contain my fangirlisms over Mr. Rogers and Diggle; I may not watch Arrow as much as I used to, but Diggle was my favorite character. And it's been AGES since I last saw Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood; I need to start rewatching it. And Umbridge was a thorn in my side since her first appearance in the Harry Potter books.

Just to make it clear, I prefer going in chapter order when reviewing; and if I make a comment in a previous chapter, it's because I forgot to add something in my review. I know the contest is probably already over, but it doesn't mean I shouldn't put my two cents in anyway.

Now, to finish this chapter and continue fangirling over Mr. Rogers & Diggle. -
Tie-Dyed Broadway chapter 7 . 11/8/2015
All I caught was Baker Street, because Baker Street is where I wanna be.
Tie-Dyed Broadway chapter 6 . 11/8/2015
You evil monkey. I may not watch “Bones” constantly, but Sweets was my favorite character. I hate how they killed him off; he reminded me of my band director- a real nice guy, not very good with people.
