I know that you probably don't check your FF account much these days (mine still technically exists however I long deleted all my embarrassing fics I'd written ten plus years ago haha!) but during these Covid19 times I've been reacquainting myself with Death Note and Hetalia after close to six years (god knows why - Hetalia is very problematic, but not something I need to think too deeply about while watching it, and, ya know, cute gay countries, so...) and have been reading through my favourites of your old fics.

I just finished this one and holy shit dude, this one still holds up 3 and a half years later. The world building i and I love the characterisation so freakin' much and maybe I'm dense but you had me with every twist man. The way you write USUK is superior and it makes me say "yes good" each time, even though I was never a fan of this pairing when I was in the fandom.

After reading back, geez, this chapter makes my eyes leak...

I don't remember much about the story even though I reread it again a few years back, which is nice, so that I can experience the freshness of the plot as if it's my first time reading. But gosh, you really do have a way with words. Your story still amaze me, and your way of writing still inspire me. I've been away from for a while, and the first thing I read when I came back is exactly this. And 1912. I'm planning to reread all my favourites again, but starting off with the Waning does let me have a rewind version of getting back into Hetalia, since you tend to give these characters more background and personality (albeit a little dark on the side lol). It allows me to somehow have a better idea on how you view these characters, especially Arthur, as I get that same old-soul feel of him from 1912. He IS an old country, after all, aye?

And the puns and British humour, I love them X)

This story was absolutely astounding- it has taken over my life the past two days(which is probably really bad considering I'm in the middle of college right now...). Everything was well thought-out and well written- I can't remember the last time a story has stirred up my emotions as strong as this story has or has pulled me in so strongly(whether anger, sadness, frustration, etc). You made all the characters so lifelike and complex(despite the use of fantastical creatures). Thank you for writing this story- I absolutely loved it!

I am literally writing an essay about this fic. Rereading all of this fic in 2 days and getting ready to destroy my soul all over again.

This fic is such an emotional roller coaster it's not even funny. One second you're thinking that they'll be almost happy then it gets torn from them at the last second. The epilogue almost made me cry because at last they can finally be together, happy, in multiple time line's. The emount of times I shouted or screamed during reading this is untrue, this should be called The Wailing not The Waning.

I can't never get enough of this perfect story

WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! THIS STORY WAS SO GOOD AND THEN THE EPILOGUE CAME AND IT WAS LIKE ? AMAZING!

I don't mind that SuFin suffered early on, seeing them both die is better than one of them... sounds drastic but you're right - Tino seriously wouldn't let that go. And they were together after that - and in the final universes tbh. Alfred (and Arthur's) wish seems to have granted the happiness of all of them.
It all came at a cost (I might have said that before) but it shows just how far they will go for each other... even if they destroy themselves or each other along the way.
Also, it seems as though, throughout the story we've been witnessing the shedding of Arthurs layers over and over again until at the end his core is all that is left. All he wants, despite time, despite the armour he's built around himself is to be happy and to be loved. All he wants is Alfred. It's beautiful - and terrifying all at the same time.
Maybe that's why the Arthur that remembers doesn't want to dwell on it?
Either way, I love it - always going to love multiverses!
I also love the other characters - Elizaveta is epic, Roderich with his will to follow his wife and his wish for music. Feli and Ludwig... of course he'd bite him. He doesn't have the restraint that Arthur has. Mathew was interesting, and of course Francis - He so knew that Arthur loved Alfred - no matter what he said.
Gilbert was amazing, like scary but awesome at the same time. Belle - LOVED her OMG. Haha... yeah - awesome job with everyone.
I also like that Caesar - Rome - is in this so much but 'gone' in the cannon of Hetalia and the way you worked it looks as though it was deliberate. Alfred wanted him gone before Arthur or any of the others could really be affected by him, but maybe couldn't erase him completely? He was too powerful.
Alfred seems to have made an unusually sensible decision in making sure there were multiple universes - nice touch. His ingrained darkness as well - very clever.
So yeah, I hope you've enjoyed my rambling. Excellent job with is, LOVED it!

So, I loved this - like seriously loved this - taking the idea and the costumes and making such an awesome story out of it - I am seriously impressed, but I always am when I read anything you've written :)
First off - Alfred and Arthur. We both know how I love them together. In this their relationship feels realistic in this - despite the setting. Their love for each other turns out to be eternal but I like that their trust wasn't. Its true that love isn't the be all and end all.
The end with the tree of elders was, I thought, very clever. Reminded me of sleepy hollow and also of the tree of life concepts - was that on purpose?
They say absolute power can corrupt but for Arthur - and Alfred it didn't. For once love was allowed to conquer all... at the sake of several lives but it worked out in the end.

i was not expecting that ending AT ALL but I love it? like I had to stop half way through the chapter and scream because of how amazing it was, honestly this whole thing was amazing and i loved it so much
