Loved it- it has a "The Five People You Meet in Heaven/What Dreams May Come" vibe. Turbo has too much of a sense of humor to be truly evil, and from reading the fanfics I sense that a lot of folks wished for a non-fatal resolution to the story.
At some point in our own lives, we become obsolete along with what we did in life. Some people deal with this poorly. Steelworkers and Space Shuttle pilots know this to be true.

This actually makes a lot of sense... nicely done! :D Another thing that would be cool is if they had "ghosts," where it's like how you wrote about video game purgatory only they can haunt "living" video game characters. That would be pretty creepy. Imagine the Twins haunting everyone? X3 This was sadly sweet.

Ah... this could've been the perfect direct ending to the movie. It's interesting that the kids were able to play the game as well, in their own heaven, almost as if they were back in Litwak's Arcade all over again. Theories are so much fun to base a story on :)

I have to agree with Turbo in that he really doesn't deserve to go to Heaven after all he's done, but it's not like he's gonna hurt anyone there, I suppose.

Aw, that was adorable! I love the idea of them all being in heaven together, with nothing bad ever. I have one little question though. They talk about being somewhere called, Celestial Arcade? Is their game up in heaven being played by those who have died and gone to heaven, or is it somewhere on Earth? It would be a beautiful thing to read about children who passed away, gathering around to play the game, no longer sick or hurting, or feeling any sort of mental, physical, and emotional pain whatsoever.
