Your subconscious is a genius. YOU'RE a genius. I know your head put you through crap trying to get this out, but as far as I'm concerned it was worth it because this is perfect. Your prose are elegant (in that rough sort of way that they have to be for the Winchesters) and your characterizations and your metaphors and imagery and ug gosh everything. This is definitely going on my favorites list!

You took an old idea and gave it a unique spin. I'll admit I'm not quite sure what Dean was first thinking when Sam came in, why he was mad, but I like that it wasn't a mushfest, that Dean reasoned out why Sam shouldn't have kept it whether it was Dean or not and how he had to get past his mistakes. I also really like the imagery, like Sam collecting the thorns that pricked him so they could keep scratching him. The Winchesters both wear their hair shirts regularly, but it was a valid point freshly made-congrats!

Extremely well written. Your choice of words and use of imagery were excellent. Though I very much disagree with some of the things said, it is still a pleasure to read something so well done.

I've read quite a few of these voicemail fics, but I have to say, this is one of my favourites! I liked how you had Dean deal with his discovery of the message and I thought you kept the boys in character! Great story!

Oh and I love the 'Invincible wasn't never getting hurt, it was never giving up'. Wise words! :)
