This was very well written. Sometimes heavy emotions are hard to convey without feeling cliche and I think you did very well here :)

But really, wonderful job. I've never actually given much thought to what happened after the disowning scene, but this seems entirely plausible. I'm pretty sure in that moment the weight of everything would've come crashing down on Hiccup and he would've had this kind of a breakdown. The part where he was trying to move but couldn't and trying to stop himself from crying really got to me because I have felt EXACTLY Like that before and it's a horribly painful feeling, to say the least. You did a great job capturing the emotion there.

I also liked the little moment he and Toothless had at the end, and how he wanted to see his dragon one more time. And I liked that in the end, Hiccup didn't regret anything.

Excellently written. I could really feel the sadness, but I think Hiccup was really OOC. I mean, he doesn't give up so easily, even if the world's against him. All the same, I still loved this story :)
