That was just rude. I don't think I've ever been so depressed, so thanks for that.

Why must you make me cry in this way?

This was just heartbreaking. I really liked the relationship that you painted between McGonagall and her first class as Head of House. It's a beautiful relationship, and I love how she encouraged each and everyone of them.

I love that McGonagall thought of them as her own children. She spent years nurturing them, teaching them. It's only fitting. (Besides, it's my headcanon that McGonagall had a soft spot for the Marauders & co).

I think you characterized them all very well. And I loved the subtle reference to Purple with the mention of Sirius spilling his drink on Marlene in first year. The way that they all came to her, at some point during their years, is just wonderful, and their reasons for doing so were so fitting.

[They'd all fought like Gryffindors until the very end, even Peter] - so I really loved this line. Mostly because you didn't leave Peter out. As much as I disliked what he did, the truth of the matter is that Peter was still their friend, so I like that you had him in the story. And that you referenced him committing suicide is great. It was a Gryffindor move in the end.

You broke my heart. And I liked it. Great job!

I love this but I wish it would have had something with Fred! Anyway brilliant story!
BurgundyHope chapter 1 . 11/30/2013
This was a great look into Minerva's thoughts after the battle (something which has always interested me) and a wonderful tribute to the "first class" nine-definitely bittersweet (although definitely closer to the sad side). And it was very well written, too. Thank you for sharing! :)
