Well, gotta say, immensely enjoyed the fic so far. Compared to a lot of fanfics starring the stereotypical 'perfect hero' elements (not just in Elder Scrolls fandom, mind you), this gem was like a breath of fresh air. I really liked how you wrote Cato, his flaws and shortcomings, and how he strived to struggle against prejudice. His interaction with Lydia, and how their relationship progressed over time wasn't like the normal bland, stale kind some authors seem to enjoy writing to pander to audience. It seems that you've invested a lot of effort in writing this story and I salute you for your good work, good sir!

Another good chapter, i liked the language you used for khajiit, i dont know if this is a coincidence or not, but you used the word "bosh'tet", which is an insult in Mass Effect alien language too, os yeah, strange coincidence

You'll find no backlash from me. Gay characters are totally fine and add a level of depth, and you did it really well. Lydia and him, high, drunk, at a moment of...if not weakness, then certainly familial admittance, confiding in one another? Hells yeah! Cato may be the driving force in Skyrim, but Lydia is your main character and her development matters more! As mush as I love Cato/Lydia scenes, there's a charm to Lydia on her own, brooding over Cato leaving her alone to quest(like we all know she did in game, right?!) in some newly discovered land. God help us if Cato actually gets injured when Lydia isn't there. There's 9 Circles of Hell to pay for that!

Slightly annoyed Lydia keeps blue-balling Cato. Come on girl. We all know you want the D. Just have another ale and...experience.

Also I have an idea you might be able to work with. Something to add a twist to the 'want to move' story line and get that rare but always amazing jealous Lydia side while bringing in the drastic difference in Imperial/Nord society! Let me know if you want to hear it.

I predict that the house he (Cato) is thinking of moving into with Lydia will be from the Hearthfire DLC. Heljarchen Hall/Windstad Manor for the win!
