This is my new favorite fanfic. The tampon thing was hilarious; once a girl on my VB team got hit with a serve and was bleeding from both nostrils for a half an hour. The team got her two tampons (one for each nostril), so that she could finish the rest of practice. She looked ridiculous, but it was pretty functional.

I once offered a tampon to one of my classmates... He had gotten a 2"x4" smack on the bridge of his nose, after one of the other guys lost his grip around it... I still can't believe he didn't BREAK his nose...
(I went building and construction, and was the only girl... Which was nice... I enjoyed it a little too much I guess... Boys/Men in workwear... OMG!)
After a couple of minutes arguing, he took the tampon and shoved it up his nose...
