I absolutely hate Sansa... fucking kinslayer. I started to warm up to her when Joffrey started the public beatings, and while that was shameful, it also whipped some spine in the girl. There are a lot of causes that started the War of Five Kings, we could even say that Robert saying Lyanna's name started it all, because then Cersei had children not from him and then Arryn discovered it all etc, maybe Catelyn catching the Imp, Joffrey sending the assassin, Baelish misinforming Cat and Ned, but I think Sansa is the major idiot, she fell for the blonde prick and then betrayed her own family -pack, as the Stark so often say- and then paid the consequences. Her father beheaded, sister on the run, two youngest brothers killed and the eldest murdered at his own bannerman's wedding. Really, if only she just kept her mouth shut... Arya and Sansa would be on the way to Whiter Harbour, maybe with Ned and the North would have a capable -not that Robb isn't...- and experienced commander and I'm sure Ned would have done a better job at protecting the realm...

It's been awhile since you've updated and I was wondering when you would update again because this story interests me a lot.

I am craving to see Arya's POV - esp. with respect to Steffon!

I loved (LOVED) the bit about Tyrion and Steffon - my eyes watered! It was so cute and I felt so much for Tyrion!
I can't wait to get more Steffon and Arya action so Tyrion will have some material to tease his favourite nephew with ;P

Man I was hoping Tywin and Steffon could be allies!
I worry Tywin thinks Steffon's feelings for Arya / his 'ambition for the throne' are swaying Steffon's decisions. Hopefully Tywin sees Joffrey's true nature and helps Steffon!
Also - I hope he doesn't kill Tommen and Steffon's relationship, they both deserve at least one non-sadistic brother :P

OMG Tyrion was hilarious! Especially that last line about what Steffon wanted from Arya - omg I died from laughing so hard!
I hope we see more of Tyrion teasing Steffon about Arya, it's so adorable and so Gendryish to see him so flustered!

Eh, truthfully, I'm relieved that you decided to NOT put Steffon with Sansa. I utterly DESPISE Sansa, especially in the first book. She is so pompous with her head in the clouds, believing that fairy tales heroic knights and gallant princes really existed in the modern.

Here's to hoping you don't make a mess of things with Arya's character and storyline. Although, don't you think she's a bit young for a betrothal, even by GoT-verse standards?

Loved it, I wish eh wasn't so scared of him but it makes sense.
The second proposal impressed me, very well thought out.

I try not to think too hard about Cersei's motivations, she has always felt a bit inconsistent, but I totally nailed it, Steffon Did remind her of her father.
I cant wait to see the interaction between Steffon and Tywin.
