This is very well written and I think you do a really good job of conveying Alex as an emotionally traumatized child who's lost everything and doesn't know how to face what's happened or deal with the emotions associated with it. Alex just seems very real and human and his struggles make me feel sympathetic for him.
I really enjoy the inclusion of K-Unit too and how you've developed their characters so they all seem like individual and unique people.
I would love to see you continue this, I think you could really take it in so many directions. I'd be the most interested by far in a character driven fic detailing Alex's eventual recovery (and Wolf's too, because I doubt losing a hand is something he'll be able to come to terms with very quickly or easily) and how K-Unit help him get there. But really, I would be interested to read whatever you wrote because you're a very good writer and I've enjoyed all the stories I've ever read of yours.
Please continue this, I'd love to read more!

Wow, a completely different approach to Alex rider, but I like it. Looking forward to your next update.

I also don't have the books with me, and I don't have any ideas... I think two of the Aussies were called Texas and X-Ray, but for all I know I just made that up. I'm a great help, right? Oh, I know the Gentlemen is an assassin who has never met/heard of/had anything to do with Alex Rider, if you would like to use him. John Crawley also hasn't been mentioned yet, I don't know if you'd like to use him. Where is Tom? I suppose he doesn't have the clearance to know about Alex, but seeing as he actually does, it would be so cool if he managed to sneak his way in... okay, that is the extent of my knowledge, with the use of Wikipedia.

This is a really good story! I hope you update soon, although with the length of these chapters I imagine it takes a while!

Ethan Brooks- ASIS head (blind, devious, willing to use people for an agenda they don't know i.e partner Alex with Ash to prove Ash a traitor)
The soldiers were Scooter(leader), Texas, X-ray, and Sparks(died in snakehead on dragon 9)
Cloudy Webber ( does disguises, Smither's friend/ counterpart I think)
They are described as being a bit reckless (ASIS anyway)
