I've been reading this for the past few days and while it definitely wasn't perfect (there were times where u had to turn off my phone and just stare at the wall because the scenes were inducing second hand embarrassment) and you can tell that you wrote it a long time ago when you were probably really young I still liked the concept of this story. and the story in general hits a lot of marks and I enjoyed reading it a lot. I genuinely can't wait to read the rewritten version (I read the excerpt you posted on Tumblr and I loved itand how you made kols first appearance so much more suspenseful). !

I am so glad that was their first stop as she'd been crushed to lose her connection to hr grandmother. Lovely ending! While I'm disappointed to hear you're postponing the sequel, I can't argue with your logic. I'd like to strongly suggest you leave this version of the story intact and do your rewrite as a new story so that we can refer back to it or read them side-by-side to compare and contrast it with the rewritten version as you progress and offer better suggestions and critiques known what you've changed. As for the rewrite itself, I too went back and reread this from the beginning, and I found myself wishing you'd stared this story by putting it in better context within her life with a bit more backstory, I'n not suggesting you give away any hints as to her being an oracle or being reincarnated, but you could tell us some stuff like at what age she moved to MF with her dad and grandma after the death of her mother, how and when she came to be friends with the Scooby crowd and the Mikaelsons, and have at least told us she could do magic before springing it on us out of the blue just in time to do the spell to save Kol. Maybe you could bill her as a regular, if unusually strong, witch until you're ready to unveil that she's an oracle. I hope these suggestions help spark your imagination and get the creative juices flowing! :)
