Excellent story! Sadness, resolutions, best of all copious amount of warm fuzzies!

I've reread the whole story again after some time to forget the plot twists, and enjoyed a therapuetic misdirected cry session the whole story. My eyes and nose are swollen now.

This is an amazing, heart-wrenching story and I love it as much as I hate it because it makes me hurt. Thank you, sincerely, for writing such a beautiful story of sacrifice and change.

Ah well this is super boring and disappointing. Decided to go for the most cliche option again I see. And of course a woman has to die again for a man to undergo emotional growth. How vulgar.

oh my word. i cannot stop crying in this chapter. i stopped reading the next chapter so i can shower and get all my emotions in place but im still here, bawling my eyes out. his grief and everyone's acknowledgement of it, so bloody needed. this is hauntingly good. i feel so much for Loki. such a great scene, gives me shivers. thank you so much for this!

it was when Odin stepped into the shop with Thor trailing behind and yelled at Loki that I started feeling emotional and immediately stopped reading cause I was in public. the entire way home I felt the storm of emotions coursing through my chest and as soon as I got home and went back to that paragraph my heart just shattered. i don't think I've cried so hard since Lelouch's sacrifice (strongly recommend Code Geass by the way). every word that left Odin's mouth was a piece of my heart being ripped apart. the realization of what the sacrifice really was downed on me just as my last bit of my self-restraint escaped my grasp and I began wailing into my pillow. odin, the man who I blamed this whole time for letting his son sign his life away, was innocent and totally undeserving of my slandering. i doubted his love, called him manipulative, when all he spoke of was the truth and his love for Loki never waned even after his son brought shame and destruction to his family. he was willing to sacrifice himself to a demon just so his son can learn his lesson and have a chance to undo his mistakes. this is what a father should be, not Laufey, no, this. i didn't give a shit about Odin when I watched Thor, nor when I read about him in fics. he's always reminded of the manipulative Dumbledore in bashing fics. I've always doubted his love for Loki and the previous 23 chapters of this story only served to reinforce that belief. oh how wrong I was and how late I've realized my mistake. but it's too late. he's dying and there's nothing we can do about that. congratulations author, you just made me appreciate a character a whole lot more. you deserve a strong pat on the back.

please tell me loki didn't die in the end pleeeease I'll do anything please don't kill him my heart can't take it

i cannot wait to see when the timeline will merge and people will have their memories back or aka experience deja vu and then how Odin and Thor will react once they realized what Loki did.

the Odin of the other timeline had me suspecting he really doesn't give a fuck about Loki considering he's the one who introduced him to the witch and stood and watched as his son signed his life away. and yet this Odin has me thinking maybe he just gave up on Loki of the other timeline after knowing he's killed thor, accidentally or not. a part of me is giddily awaiting him to eat his words of how he loves Loki and will catch him and hold onto him when his memories of the alternate timeline returns. let's see how strong his love for his son really is.

how can a centuries old king be so moronic? now Thor 2 will happen as it did in canon, with Loki locked up. but wait, in canon he told the dark elf to go to the left corridor and that's how frigga ended up dead. if he told the elf the opposite this time... maybe he'd still be able tos ave her from within the cell.

so odin was there when loki made the deal with the witch? he urges his son to sacrifice his life away and make a deal with a demon while he just sits and watches? and he would even go as far as to make sure there is no way loki will get out of this by going over the rules with the witch? what kind of father is he? and he called it "tough love"? loki is right. he doesn't love loki. he's just using him. what a hypocritical manipulative liar.

it will completely destroy if/(hopefully not)when thor realizes the truth and goes back to hating loki

that was such a magnificent turn of events! honestly didn't see this comin! frigga truly was right that loki shouldn't execute them ob the very same day they were caught. cause he's still affected by what just happened and he will be blinded by hatred and want to see blood when there will be better use of them if he just wait and think a little longer. rash devisions are never wise.
