OMG! I have read and am still reading and re-reading Jisbon fan fics, but I think this one just shot to the top of my list! I loved, loved, loved everything about this sweet, hot, and tender version of My Blue Heavan. Why oh why couldn't we have had something like this in the real show?! So, so good. I don't know if you still monitor your Mentalist stories, but thanks so much for this. Truly, my all time favorite and one I plan to return to often. Thank-you.

Somehow I missed this sweet little story while reading through the ones you have written. I loved their reunion on the beach and agree with how they were reunited in your fic. I don't think many people did like the whole Lisbon Pike fiasco. Thanks very much for writing this and all the other Mentalist stories you have given us.

Like it happens to me with any story that has me hooked up, I don't want it to end, just like it would have been heartbreaking to see Jane and Lisbon part from each other forever. Have you thought about a continuation in Austin? ;-)

This reunion between Jane and Lisbon is just now the most perfect one for me. :-) You've nailed Jane so well about his unwaveringly loyal and faithful nature, about his unbreakable feelings for Lisbon, even in the distance. I always knew he only would be able to move on with her, not with someone else. That's why he didn't have any flings with women in that island. He only wanted her, even if he regarded himself as unworthy of her and didn't have many hopes that they'd reunite one day. It was Lisbon or no one. That's what like it felt to me. He had been loyal to Angela until he let her go, now he's loyal to Lisbon, and we know what that means. Everything or nothing. :-)
Even if I felt disappointed in the show about Fischer appearance, it was very satisfying to see that it didn't turn into a sexual affair in the end, as if fate had conspired to prevent Jane from making a terrible mistake and realize once and for all that his future was with Lisbon and just her. :-)

This, by far is my favorite fic of all time! I sooo wish it had happened this way in the show. Thank-you, thank-you for writing this.

This is the most beautifully written My Blue Heaven alternative story I've read so far. The description of Jane and Lisbon's last day together was heartbreaking and the ending left me happy which is the way I prefer TM stories to end. Thank you Donnamour1969.

One of the most beautiful "My Blue Heaven" tag/alternative story out there.
And while I'm kind of happy they didn't actually send Lisbon to bring him back from his island in the show (mainly because I think it adds to the depth of Jane's character that he came back for himself THEN asked for a Lisbon-shaped perk on his contract), I have to say this story makes me a bit wistful thinking about all those "what if".

in all seriousness, this is exactly how it should have went down. no season 6 antics. we had enough angst. I would have forgone season 7 to have them together from this episode until the end. made no sense the way they stretched out season 6. this story was purely perfect and realistic. thank you.

This chapter was, obviously, hot but even more than that, incredibly romantic and so, so heartbreaking. I think MY pillow is a bit damp with tears!
