Please don't kill off Chris or Chef permanamently(maybe make them ascend upon "death"?).I know anyone can die,but we need them for funsies and the the cosmic horrors turn out to recruit Chris/like his evil?

Please don't have Chris get killed or anything-I like the idea of him becoming a omnicidal cultist after this.

I love me some ol lovecraftian horror. The way you choose to describe everything creates a sense of helplessness and dread, showing that you really understand the genre and what works with it. even in the more gorey chapters it is not shock value but that same sense of insignificance.

There isn't much I can say about this chapter... #409 is obviously not a power to be messed with, and the scene with the hand would leave me speechless and beyond horrified, too. But does this mean that everything else will leave the competitors alone, or is everyone else still fighting or already dead?

I do hope you can update soon, this is a cliffhanger! _

I feel bad that I haven't been able to leave a review earlier (several months ago!), but here I go:

Firstly, I loved how you portrayed the spirits. I won't spoil anything for anyone reading comments, but it was entirely believable and (ironically) humane. The way that the patients had been treated and died, and the doctors even, to feel this way after so long is actually humane, even if it only lasts for a short period of time.

The animals. The species of animals leaving one by one until everything was gone was a strong point, especially the rats jumping over the cliff just to get away.

The reality breaking within the island sort of reminded me of Doctor Who, for some reason. Different dimensions clashing, squeezing together until the walls broke and they realized how small our world really is; and the different beings within.

And then, yes, the end. _ Geeeeeeeeeeez. I wonder how Chris and his team of techies are reacting to this...

So, we meet a...'someone' who was a patient pick Gwen to work for 'it' and stop someone who is messing with this place big time. Then they break Gwen head open, mess her brain up, heal it, and send Gwen on her way.

Well, how on Earth will she tell the others of this, and why did 409 pick Gwen brain apart like that?

Ok, I'll admit that I'm a huge Gwen fan, but that doesn't take away from the crime that Cody got no screentime this chapter, and that's punishable by death, see to it that such a thing occurs never again.

Chapter was worth the wait

409 honestly freaks me the fuck out. They want the seal on the sixth floor gone. This makes me want to ask if the seal is keeping something getting in or keeping something from getting out. either one could be very bad. Chris already partially broke what was keeping everything asleep because of
his greed. I kinda want to see what the old man from chapter 2 is doing and find out what he knows about whats happening to our cast.

Well this certainty is interesting!

You've showed me part of this chapter before, so I'm not going to comment on the old part that I saw but I will do so on the new.

#409 seems really creepy, and I know I might be jumping the gun on this but I am wondering what he meant of what person he wants Gwen to kill (At least I think that's what he wants Gwen to do.) So here's my guess...

Chris, he invaded #409's home, a home of supernatural presences for monetary gain. Plus Chris is a dick.

Going back on #409, I am wondering now if that number means something to the asylum. And if you picked this number due to it having some historical significance? I might have to do some research on that integer to find out for sure.

Lastly, I will like to talk about how you wrote Gwen here. You write her to be 'scared shitless' which is perfectly understandable to what the hell she had just endured. And her thoughts felt like Gwen was thinking them. Due to Total Drama All Stars, Gwen has took a major dip in my rankings and I mean, major dip. But it's good to see that Gwen can still be enjoyable and 3 dimensional in fanfiction :D

All in all this was a great chapter, it made me ponder what it is too come (Who 409 is?, Where are the other contestants?, Who does 409 want to kill?) so on and so forth. I feel like this chapter is a sort of turning point in the story also, with Gwen now being given a mission of what she needs to do and with the main supernatural force making an appearance.

This chapter was pretty good, and at least where I feel the story truly starts.

Now this might be an odd thing to comment on but the humour here was pretty well done, despite this story being a horror one. Owen whacking Alejandro was funny to see, and even though I don't dislike Alejandro as much as I did earlier, it's still fills me with joy seeing him in pain ;)

The Cody and Heather alliance was really awesome to see, and how Heather described her plans to him was rather brilliant to say the least. It also shows some good callbacks to TDI and others. Although I doubt this deal will take full force due to the nature of the story.

Another thing I will like to take note on is Duncan's character. You wrote him as an asshole but yet a 3D asshole, as is like the show. Even if he is partly proud of what he did so he can add to his 'babe list'

Another part that I loved was how you wrote Owen here. So nice, so kind, and so naive how he cared about Gwen's feelings and tried to show her that everything was all right. Sadly Owen was wrong though and his time in this story has come to an end. But the time in the story was good though.

Overall this was a pretty good chapter and I'm anxious and excited of what's to come for our remaining characters! :D

Well that was certainly creepy. Granted I did not think Gwen was dead at the end of the last chapter. I do wonder why Gwen is the one having these visions. Hopefully we will get an answer before the story ends. Keep up the good work.

This update has made my day.

There were good interactions between the cast and some drama.

I love the way you described how the different animals one by one fled from the hospital sensing the the sheer wrongness that was coming. When in a horror situation always take your cues form a mass of animals that are all going in one direction.

So Owen is the first to leave this world but that can hardly be unexpected when when said person charges into a wall of walking corpses.

I wonder how long it will take them to remember the advice given to them by the old man. All I can say is that if they want to survive they better run because if they are caught there will be no mercy.

Glad to see another chapter for this one, definitely in my top seventeen of your stories.

Before anything else is said though, it's important I point out that it looks as though you are heavily relying upon auto correct in this one. Just so many words that are spelled similarly yet hold an entirely different meaning than what was intended. Or so it seems to me, this is just what I think happened with the chapter.

Also, I WAS RIGHT! HAHA! My guess was proven correct exactly!

I do however notice some similar themes between this and Final Destination what with Gwens visions and stuff. That may however be completely unintentional on your part and I'm just grasping at straws.

This one had me grinning all the way through, and I allowed myself a devious chuckle when I got to Owens charge. Immediately knew what was gonna happen.

Duncan managed to partially spoil this chapter, though I didn't hold it against him entirely since there have definitely been moments where I played girls in the same way.

So long as Cody survives long enough to romance Gwen, and you can update another story by the fifteenth of this month (MY BIRTHDAY!) Then I'll be satisfied.

I am really scared right now.

Not bad, part of me is kind of hoping Sierra will be the first to really go though. I forgot how creepy she can be. The friction between teammates was pretty amusing too.
