Thanks for writing a good tortured/drugged out Dean that Sam has to take care of. It reminds me (because I'm just that old) of one of my favorite Starsky and Hutch episodes with a very similar situation where Starsky has to take care of Hutch. I just can't seem to get enough hurt/comfort with these two and you write it so well! I look forward to any new stories you write and check for them frequently.

I really enjoyed this one. Mostly because I'm on a dean!pain kick. However, I really do enjoy seeing Sam on the other end of the spectrum having to take care of his big brother for a change. That's not seen so much in the show, and you're one of the few fanfic writers that I can really read and see the brothers. The writing was great- the research is obviously there, and the overall plottage went from great to awesome. I just loved it. _ I didn't get the notification that this was posted, I was wondering where you had run off to and if you were gonna post any time soon. Granted this was over a month ago, but I'm surprised it took me this long to find it. Awesome job darlin!

This is such a wonderfully heart-warming brotherly-love story again - and with lots of whump as well!

My favourite parts were Dean halucinating Sammy to keep him going and of course, the younger Winchester ultimately taking super-good care of his big brother. *smiles fondly at those two*

Also, I really liked that Sam didn't stoop so low himself as to killing Dean's assailants off, but instead made them pay in a much better way, setting himselv distinctly apart from the monster some hunters see in him, while they are pretty scarily close to the line themselves.

Well here I am. I made it. When I first found your account and saw how many stories there were, I decided to go way back to the very beginning. And I haven't been dissappointed. You are a stunning writer and you have every character down to a T. It says something about your writing that I'm still here 400-odd stories later. So thanks from me, a pretty new Supernatural fan, for helping me get to know the boys so much better.

As for this story - poor Dean! What those hunters did to him is horrid.
