A New Start

****Chapter 20****

At the Crown, Lita and Mina was seated on the bench seats and in wait on the others to show up, so they come up with a plan to defeat Neconda. They all decided to meet at the bar, Smoke House. Since, Melody was still a little bit feeble.

"Neconda is up to something!" Lita said, as she slammed her milkshake down.

"I just wish we knew what it was?" Mina commented.

All of the sudden, black lighting cracked in the sky.

"Some weather we are having?!"

"It's not just the weather!" Lita replied.

Meanwhile, Artemis and Luna was outside in thought of what could be Neconda's next move. Amy had been working on attack suggestions for each of them to use, for the best impact. Raye was doing a reading from the fire to get any answer; nothing came.

Afterwards, they all rushed to meet at the Crown.

Willow and Fancy had finished cleaning up the bar. Sam had entered inside, alone. Maybe Cas had came by there to go ahead and discuss the tactics.

"Where's your side kick? Willow asked, as she noticed it was just him.

"Where else?" Sam commented.

"Oh, Melody!" Willow and Fancy spoke in unison.

The room once again became quiet.

"Have you guys seen Cas?" Sam questioned.

Willow and Fancy nodded and then one said, "I thought he was you all?"

"Mostly, yes." Sam answered.

Meanwhile, Dean and Melody was positioned in the Impala. They been laughing at each other, now flirting.

"Dean! Stop it?!" Melody replied, as she gave him a hard punch.

In doing so, made him replied with, "Ouch!"

"Sorry! Sorry!" Melody rejoined in a panic. She quickly checked where she hit him.

"DAMN GIRL!" Dean said as he rubbed the place. Then he added in a jest, "I really hate to see when you're angry!"

"HA-HA! Act like a man and not a wuss!" Melody teased, and smiled.

Dean smirked at her, which made her giggled.

"Don't worry, Dean. I won't tell your secret, it's safe with me." Melody said in a joke.

"HA-ha!" Dean responded, and added. "I don't think Darien-your brother likes me at all, but hey what can I say?!"

"Darien has a lot on his mind right now. I mean he just now find out he has a sister and then you knuckle heads shows up. He'll come around."

"I say it's not easy. I don't blame him, for being that way.

Stillness rose between them.

"Melody?" Dean asked.

"Yes, Dean?" Melody answered.

"Please, don't ever scare me like that again!"

"I'll try."

"I figured you would say that!"

Soon after, the couple kissed and exchanged smiles.

Darien and Serena took a walk in the park, while they held hands. So many things has happened in the past, and just once without being superheros at that instant was a bliss. Not really knowing when the next enemy attack would be, Serena knew to appreciate this heavenly moment. It was so refreshing, Serena breathe in the crisp air and let it out.

"Smells so good!" Serena mentioned, and giggled.

Darien glanced at her and said. "It's nice to enjoy the earth's gifts!"

"Sure is!" Serena replied back.

Suddenly, the sky grew dark. Serena and Darien glazed at one another in dismay. As they guessed the peaceful time was over with.

"Oh, Mystic!? Where are yooouuu?" Neconda boomed through out the city.

"What the hell?" Dean asked, furious.

Next, Neconda demonstrated his powers towards a building. Additionally, he threatened if she didn't come out, more would be perish and that included innocent people.

"See that Mystic!" Neconda yelled out. "You have one hour to surrender, or this place you love will be nothing, but ash!" With that he vanished.

Tears flowed down her cheek, while Dean embraced her tightly.

"Shh, it's okay." Dean whispered into her ear.

"No, it not!" Melody replied, as she shook her head. "I gotta go!"

"Mel, wait!" Dean said, as he got out of the car. When he turned to catch her, he was to late, she had vanished.

"Damn, that woman is fast!"

Instantly, Dean's cell phone went off. Sam had called him to see if he seen the warning in the sky. They decided to meet somewhere, close.

Subsequently, Dean had arrived there. He noticed the Warriors, Scouts and Tuxedo Mask was ready to fight. One face he didn't see though, where was she?

"Where's Melody?" Dean asked.

"I thought she was with you?" Windamtic declared.

"No, she left not to long ago. Son-of-a-bitch!" Dean thundered, as he realized what she was up to.

"WHAT?" They all asked.

"I think I know where she went to!" Dean answered, and then the rest of them knew as well.

"She can't fight him on her own!" Sailor Moon shrieked.

"She's been blinded by you!" Tuxedo Mask mumbled, as he made a fist.

"Let's go!" Dean remarked, as he pretended not to hear what Tuxedo Mask muttered.

As the group walked, they expressed what was on their minds.

"Without a plan, barging in like this wouldn't work. Why was this her intentions?" Sailor Mercury wondered, out-loud.

"Why would she do this?" Sailor Mars inquired.

"What else? To protect us!" Sailor Venus indicated.

"Sure hope she's okay!" Windamtic replied, worried.

"Me, too!" Fireic commented.

They had reached in time, to hear a familiar voice shout into the sky. They all halted and listened.

"ALRIGHT, NECONDA. I AM HERE!" Mystic screamed.

A black puff appeared. "Excellent!" Neconda said, as he came down to her.

"MYSTIC, NO!" The Scouts and Warriors yelled. Dean went by her side, while Sam covered him.

"Dean, please leave! This isn't your fight!" Mystic said softly.

"Like hell! It involves you and your family!" Dean stated.

"I don't want you to get hurt, nor anyone else. I started this. I-" Mystic said in almost tears.

"You're not alone!" Dean said.

"ENOUGH!" Neconda roared, and blasted them except Mystic with a gulf of power from his hand.

Thereupon, everyone was back to their feet. Each one tried their own attack and even combined them, but nothing. Instead, Neconda sucked up their powers and exploded back at them, resulted them to fall backwards. Sam and Dean shot at him, even though it didn't do anything, but sting. With another blare from Neconda, Sam and Dean was on the ground.

"NOO!" Mystic shrilled.

"See my queen! They are weak! Come with me, again. Where you will always be strong!"

"No, Melody!" Tuxedo Mask said, as the Scouts, Warriors and the Winchesters got up.

"I am not going anywhere with you!" Mystic responded, in distasteful.

Suddenly, a blue light surrendered her, it had changed her attire. She was in blue goddess Neconda tried to attack her, she blocked it. Followed by, a blue lighting light flew from her fingertips and in a wave of silver it went towards him. Straight way, it destroyed him. Instantly, the dust particles fell to the ground. Mystic was back to her other attire as before.

"What the hell was that?" Tuxedo Mask

"Upgrade?!" Mystic answered, still dizzy, but in questioned.

"I would say so, and much deserved," Sailor Moon commented.

Mystic and Tuxedo Mask turned to check everyone. They all stood, amazed at what had happened.

"What happened?" Sailor Jupiter inquired

"Where's Neconda? Is he?" Sailor Venus wondered.

"I sure hope so?" Dean remarked.

"Mystic, what did- Did you?" Fireic questioned.

"Well, peace is back in order!" Mystic acknowledged.

"The last time I checked nothing was slowing that bastard down! Wait! YOU? Defeated Neconda?" Sailor Mars said, puzzled.

"Sure did."

"How?"

"Hard to explain. Let's just say, I had some help."

"Stranger stuff has happened to us," stated Jupiter.

"Ain't that the truth!" Sam agreed.

"Everyone okay?" Mystic asked.

"Yes."

"Dean?"

"Yep."

Expeditiously, Cas appeared before them.

"Cas?"

"Sorry guys that assbutt had me a prisoner. I don't even know how? Anyways."

"Glad to have to have you back, man!" Dean replied.

"Yeah, Cas glad to have you back!" Sam agreed.

"Well, I guess our work here is done," Windamtic rejoined.

"Leaving good friends is so hard!" Fireic mentioned

"You guys leaving?"

"Yes, we must!"

"Mystic let's go?"

"I must go!" Mystic said, as she glanced down from looking at Dean.

"Yeah, we need to be getting on the road," Dean acknowledged.

"Will I ever see you again?" Mystic asked.

"Maybe." Dean uttered, smoothly.

Mystic and Dean came to realized that if even though they cared for one another. Their relationship wouldn't last. Simply, because of what she hadn't spoken of earlier. Their paths are different. The Warriors didn't get to chose their path, like the Winchester's did.

"I will never forget you, Dean Winchester!"

"Nor will I forget you, Mystic-Melody Shields!"

"Charleston."

"Huh?"

I have a different last name than Darien."

"Oh, okay." With that the couple exchanged a smile.

In a quick movement, Mystic swirled towards Dean and gave him a passionate goodbye kiss.

"Bye!" Mystic said, and turned away to leave.

"Bye!" Dean replied.

The Winchesters entered into the Impala. Next, Dean started up the car and drove away.

Mystic stood by on the sideline, as she watched him leave, which made her cry. 'Perhaps one day, we can be together. Letting you go will hurt me, but now I understand. In order for you to live your life unchained, I must! ' Mystic thought.

Tuxedo Mask put his hand on her shoulder and said."Maybe one day you guys will be reunited. Might not be in this lifetime."

"As long as he's safe!" Mystic said.

"Yeah, Melody you have to believe! Love is very powerful!" Sailor Moon mentioned.

Mystic complied and hugged them both, before they left.

"Please, do keep in touch!" Tuxedo Mask requested.

"I will!" With that the Warriors vanished.

"Wow, no wonder they are also known as Ghostly warriors!" Sailor Venus announced.

"Yeah. Once again peace is upon us," Sailor Moon stated.

"Something we deserve!" Sailor Mars pronounced.

The girls nodded and after the growl that came from Sailor Moon's stomach.

"I'm hungry!" She said, while they all laughed.

"Lets get something to eat," Sailor Mercury advised.

In a flash, they all transformed back to their human apparel. The girls went ahead of the couple. Serena ceased and Darien asked.

"What's wrong, Serena?"

"Nothing. I am enjoying that beautiful sunset!"

Darien turned and glazed at the orange and bronze sunset, his response was a merely nod. Then, he took her chin in his hand and gave her a sweet gentle kiss on the lips.

Meanwhile, Dean awoke up in the Impala. He was confused at the dream he had. Dean looked out in front of the car, to see a woman in an warrior attire smile back at him. Swiftly, she disappeared and Dean blinked repeatedly.

"That was some dream!" Dean specified and yawn.

Dean viewed he was in the passenger seat. He concluded that Sam must have drove this time. They was at some gas station, he remembered this now. They was on some case dealing with blue lights disappearing virgin women; dragons.

"Hey, Dean!" Sam said, as he climbed inside the car.

"Sammy, you won't believe the dream I just had!"

Sam chuckled and responded with."Are you okay? You ready to get started on this case?"

"Yeah. Sure, am!"

The Winchesters drove passed on and observed the same orange-bronze color sunset.
