Lucy smiled widely at all the invited guests as Laxus walked her down the aisle. She could see their wide and excited grins. Many of her guild mates were crying and Fina has not even arrived. Lucy focused to the front of the aisle; Calder was nervous. His hands were fidgeting as he stared straight to the back, not caring who was walking down the aisle. He was his father's son after all. Gray was the same way on his and Juvia's wedding day. Only watching out for the bride.

Lucy surveyed the ceremony area, it was wonderful. The finishing touches of the lanterns, flowers, and the runner, to walk down the aisle, was great. Lavender and white were the right colors for Calder and Fina's wedding. It was the perfect mesh of the two families. Blue/light blue with Red/pink. It represented the families that they came from.

Laxus escorted Lucy to her seat and he went to sit with his wife. Lucy nodded at the guards that were in charge of the doors to allow the next couple to enter.

Over the next twenty minutes, the other people entered and did their performance perfectly. No mistakes. Lucy was glad. She didn't want her baby girl's big day to be a disaster. All that was left were the flower girls and Fina with her father.

Cora and Pixy entered with matching white dresses with lavender belts. The dyed purple petals were thrown at their sides to create the illusions of a path. The two girls smiled. Gajeel and Ever beaming with pride, taking pictures of their girls. Elfman was yelling out how much of a man his daughter was. And Levy was crying.

The girls stood in front of Galena, then the soft music that Lyra played stopped. Loke, then, began to play the wedding march on a piano. Everyone stood as the doors opened. As soon as she saw Fina, the waterworks came.

"I think I'm going to throw up," Fina said as she paced around the corridor waiting to enter. Galena, Cora, and Pixy were still outside with her and Natsu.

"What? I thought you were ready?" Her best friend asked.

Fina shook her head profusely. "I thought I was, but I'm getting cold feet." Pun intended. She began to hyperventilate.

Natsu came over to his child, grabbed her and shook her so hard she became dizzy instead of nervous. Luckily her hair was still intact.

"You are a Dragneel! Nothing scares us, even moving vehicles. We can concur anything. Before your time, I have fought in wars and battles that I didn't think I would ever come out alive, but I kept fighting. A marriage is like a battle. A battle of emotions. You have to learn the enemy's moves to avoid getting hurt. But in the end, one becomes a winner." He said seriously.

"What a great analogy," Galena said sarcastically. Only Natsu would come out with that.

"Dad, I do love Calder. But I'm not ready. I'm barely 24. I have my whole life ahead of me."

Natsu grinned. "So live that life…with him. I realized too late with your mother. I wish things could have been differently. You would have been older, of course, but things happen for a reason. When you want an adventure, you go and travel, but be surrounded by the people you love. My adventures were never fun unless your mother was with me. Don't you feel the same about Cal?"

Fina paused for a second and thought about her father's crazy logic. She was young and life was full of surprises, so why not take that and travel with the person you love. Life was an adventure in itself. Dragneels take things by the horns and keep pushing forward.

Realizing that she was overreacting, she smiled and hugged her father. "You're right."

The doors opened and Galena entered. Then Cora and Pixy. Soon the melody changed and Fina quickly grabbed her father's arms. "Don't let me go," she told him.

Natsu leaned over and kissed her temple. "Never."

If it were up to Calder, they would have went to City Hall in Magnolia and called it a day. Then partied in the Guild Hall. But of course, their mothers convinced them otherwise, well mostly Fina. Regardless, she did deserve the wedding of her dreams. Fina was beautiful and full of life, always being kind to others, yet harsh on herself. After the scare, Calder wondered how he could ever live without her. That was when he realized he truly loved her.

Calder, in his nervous-standing super still state, began to recall the first time he ever noticing Fina as more than a friend. It was on his tenth birthday. He didn't want a party. Only to hang out with his best friends. The three of them were playing in the park, enjoying themselves. They were running after each other, playing tag. Fina tripped and hurt herself. Calder ran to her and helped her back to his mother, who would be able to heal her. During their walk, Fina clung onto Calder. He began to feel warm inside. He felt he wanted to protect Fina forever. He felt powerful around her.

He knew it was crazy to think that way, but every time he saw her, he was excited to see her. When she began to have a crush on James, he was jealous and upset. As the years passed, his feelings grew. He loved Fina, but was always hesitant because of his friendship with Timur. He realized all is far in love and war. And he was able to win Fina's heart and keep his friendship with Tim. That was all he wanted.

He felt Tim nudge him when the doors opened. His breathe got caught up when he saw Fina in all her glory. The dress looked great on her body. She looked more like a bride from a magazine, impossible to have. Yet there she was, walking towards him. The luckiest man alive. This was probably what his father felt on his wedding day with his mother. He was getting married to his best friend.

As Natsu brought her closer to him, he stepped down to meet her. When the two stood in front of each other, he saw that she was tearing up. He touched her face to remove the fallen tear and mouthed that he loved her.

Warrod was the priest for this occasion. He welcomed everyone and asked if Natsu would let go of Fina so they can start. Natsu reluctantly released his daughter and sat with his wife. Calder, then guided his bride closer to the alter to face that last of the Fairy Tail founders. The couple listened as Warrod lectured on the benefits of marriage. He started to make jokes and told stories about other marriages.

A half hour of talking, he finally said, "Overall, you both belong together," he said with a smile. "Two offspring of wonderful mages that worked hard to fight against themselves and for their guild. You both are the seed of their love. You have bloomed into beautiful trees that will be intertwined forever." He asked Timur for the rings to pass it to Calder and Fina. Fina gave her bouquet to Galena. He asked them to repeat the vows and exchanged rings. By this time, most of the audience and bridal party were sobbing. Fina began to tear up again. "Serafina Dragneel, do you take Calder Fullbuster to be your wedded husband? To love, to have and hold as long as you both shall live?"

Fina stared into Calder's eyes. "I do," she said.

Warrod repeated the same to Calder. Calder tightened his grip of her hands, his thumb rubbing against the wedding band on her finger. "I do."

Warrod, smiling brightly, yelled. "By the power vested in me, I, now pronounce you husband and wife. Cal kiss your woman!"

The crowd hollered when Fina and Calder locked lips. Fina threw her arms around his neck and brought him closer. One could say that the two were trying to fuse together with how tight they held each other. When they let go, Calder grabbed her hand and ran out, so he could bask in the presence of his wife.

Fina was already tired of smiling. All she wanted to do was sleep. All night, she danced, laughed and smiled with her family, guests, and friends. She danced with Gildarts three times. Her father, four. Her brothers twice, each. And her husband only once.

"I know you must be done for the day, but one last dance with me?" Timur asked. His clothes were wrinkled with all the partying they were doing.

Fina smiled and grabbed Timur's hand. "I will always have time to dance with you." She said. Timur laughed and brought her closer to him. It was a slow song. She searched for her husband to find him dancing with Janet, who was glaring at her.

"How is it dating a lightening demon?" she asked.

"At times scary, at times fun. Depends on the mood she's in. It usually involves you for some reason. And you are one to talk, you're married to a demon now."

"Demon slayer," she corrected. Fina paused, then said. "I'm sorry for everything."

Timur smiled at her. "You are my best friend Serafina. I will always love you. I just wished you could have given me a chance." He confessed.

She placed her head on his shoulder, and truthfully said, "I think I would have hurt you more if I did. That wouldn't be fair."

Tim smiled. "Yes, I know. And I also know that you two belong together. It's kind of like you were both Romero and Juliet, except your fathers are friendly rivals."

Fina laughed. She leaned back to face him again. "I don't want the tragic ending either." "If anything, you'll kill him."

They stopped as the song was coming to an end. "You know, I did wonder 'what if' at times." She informed him.

"Me too. But it wouldn't feel right. The man shouldn't be better looking than his girl," Timur said laughing as Fina was smacking him.

"I am way better looking," she called out.

Timur hugged her when the song ended. "Live a happy life, Fina." Timur released her and left to dance with Janet. Fina stared at her best friend's retreating back.

Calder came over to her and held her hand. "You okay?"

Fina turned to look at her husband. Then she eyed the people that were still at her wedding. She was grateful to all of them. They made her day feel perfect and special. No matter what she could always count on her guild. She smiled as she saw her aging father holding her mother close, and whispered in her ears. Lucy pulled back laughing then kissed Natsu. That's what she wanted.

She wanted that great love, that connection they had. She wanted to always feel safe. She wanted a lover, friend, and a partner. And she did get it. Calder Fullbuster was all those things and then some. She truly couldn't wait to spend the rest of her life with him.

"I'm wonderful," Fina said, then kissed her husband.

Epilogue

Lucy and Natsu waited in the room, more Lucy waited, while Natsu was pacing back and forth making a giant hole on the ground. Calder came into the room they were waiting in. Soon, Juvia and Gray ran into the room as well, both sweating despite the cold November weather.

"Where is she?" Natsu asked.

"How is she?" Gray questioned.

Calder looked at the two males. His face giving away nothing. Lucy and Juvia were holding the other with anticipation and fear. Calder, looking much like his father, smiled with pride.

"It's a girl," he announced. Everyone hollered.

"I want to see my grandbaby!" Natsu yelled out.

"She's mine, fire brain!" Gray fought.

The two newly grandfathers ran to the room to find Fina staring down at a beautiful dark haired pale little girl. Natsu was clearly disappointed she didn't have pink hair. Fina was so happy her parents were there. She went into labor a month earlier than expected, most of the guild were out of town, including her siblings. Natsu ran back from a mission after Lucy called him through a communication lacrima.

"She looks like you at least," Natsu said as he held his newest obsession. Gray was next to him, dying to hold her.

Lucy took pictures of the newborn. She was sleeping peacefully in Grandpa Natsu's arms.

"What's her name?" Juvia asked, tears running down her face.

Fina and Calder looked at each other.

"Layla Mika Fullbuster," Fina answered.

Gray and Lucy looked at their children. Juvia hugged her husband and Natsu kissed his wife as they were overwhelmed with emotions. They were grateful that their children acknowledge their grandmothers, who they never met. It meant something to them. Children really do listen to their parents.

"Thank you," Lucy said. She looked into her daughter's brown eyes, the same ones she inherited from her mother and passed to her daughter.

As Lucy recalled everything, from discovering her pregnancy, almost losing her life giving birth, to raising four children; she felt she lived a successful life. She was still happily in love with her husband and belonged to best guild in all of Fiore. She hugged her daughter close to her. She hadn't felt this happy since Fina's sweet sixteen. Remembering Natsu's words "We did good, Luce," Lucy couldn't help but truly agree with these words right at this moment.

"Mom, you okay?" Fina asked as she stared at her mother weirdly.

The much older Lucy nodded and kissed the top of her first child's head. "Welcome to parenthood."

I'm finally done! I know it's totally sappy and no action, but I wanted this to be a very happy ending. I realized how bad my grammar and spelling was and probably still is, but thank you for putting up with me. Thank you my readers for following, reviewing, and favoring. Thank you for bothering me for updates and asking for requests. Thank you for helping me with the names and for voting on the poll. If any of you supported Timur and Fina, just replace Calder's name with Timur just to make you all feel better. I love you all. And thanks once again.
