Home

So this is my third entry for IHeartThePercyJacksonBooks's contest. My song was Home by Phillip Phillips. Enjoy!

Annabeth's POV:

"Come on, Annabeth!" Percy yelled to me. He was already halfway up the stairs, yet I was still at the bottom.

"I'm coming, I'm coming, Seaweedbrain!" I replied as I quickened my pace to catch up with him.

At the top of the stairs Percy said, "Ok, now close your eyes, I'll guide you…"

"No way!" I said with a fake pout.

"What? You don't trust me? Well that's a nice thing to say to your boyfriend…" Percy said looking hurt. He was obviously faking it, which made me roll my eyes.

"You are a horrible actor."

"I know." He replied with a nonchalant shrug and a mischievous smile. The smile that makes me melt.

I crossed my arms firmly, and pursed my lips. "Fine, but if I bump into one object, you're dead. Got it?"

Percy gave me a nod, as I closed my eyes. He took my hand in his own as he guided me through the labyrinth of a building. The twists and turns were all too familiar.

"Ok, now stay here, but don't open your eyes."

I silently obliged, wondering what that sea green-eyed boy could possibly have in his mind.

I heard some whirring and clicking, then a whisper in my ear.

"Open."

I immediately opened my eyes.

The sight to be seen took my breath away. It was absolutely gorgeous! It was pure perfection!

"Surprise, Wise Girl!" he whispered into my ear.

"Oh my gods, Percy, it's perfect."

"Nothing less for my girl—"

I cut him off with a kiss.

He didn't seem to mind as he wrapped his arms around my waist and deepened out kiss.

When I finally broke it, I asked, "How did you know?"

"I saw the sparkle in your eyes when we saw it for the first time."

"So, is it really ours?" I couldn't help but ask.

"Well, the papers do say Mr. Jackson and Miss Chase." He reasoned.

"Thanks, Perce. I love you." I said softly.

"I love you too." He replied bringing me into a tight embrace.

"We'll do this together, right?" I asked slightly nervous.

He leaned down so are lips were less than millimeters apart, "You will never be alone."

I smiled and began to slowly close the gap between are lips.

Before our lips met, he whispered softly, "We're gonna make this place our home."
