Chapter 26: Classes Suspended

There are some changes in Yan, but nothing noticeable at all that changes him, but mainly in him mentally, somewhat his heart and mind is still slowly catching up. However her lessons has been suspended for a time being, at least until the investigations of what had happened is really over. The students that have attended her classes have mixed feelings about the situation and were gossiping about it.

Kagome on the other hand was to attend a hearing with Sesshoumaru to recount of what happened that night. During that time period, she had been staying with Sesshoumaru and life resume as per usual like before she even started this temporal job.

"For another piece of the elder wand," she answered truthfully, her eyes a looked far away, her tone neutral as she answered each of the question without fail

"What else were you looking for,"

"Nothing else,"

"How did you get in,"

"I forced my entry in with a spell,"

"Who else are involved,"

"No one else,"

"How did you know that Miss Higurashi would have another piece of the Elder Wand,"

"I suspected that she might have it when her partner says that he is willing it give it to her on one of the days of her lessons with a class of students.

The interrogation went on before a group of people from the Ministry of Magic, both their own grounds and that of Japan, along with a Court of Sesshoumaru's own.

When Yan was put to the stand, it only came to realization of who he really is and how he is related to her. This is a surprise, to not only Kagome, but also everyone else in the room where the interrogation is being held in. Everything went smoothly, even to the end when the verdict was made as left the room with Sesshoumaru by her side and Yan following after them not too far away, listening in on their conversation,

"We will fulfill on our end of the contract, and you will continue on with the school, I will have one of my General be assigned to you as always,"

"What is your real name," Kagome asked, glancing from over her shoulder at the dragon, now human looking, following behind of them.

"Will you believe me if I were to tell you I do not remember?" he asked her with all smile, though there in his eyes is a dim glow, an expression that she does not see in him until now.

"Yan, then," she told him, as she followed silently by Sesshoumaru side.

The daiyoukai kept his strong silence, but was sure to take note of every little change in Kagome as she turned away from Yan. Though Sesshoumaru said nothing, but from the look in the depth of his eyes, Kagome immediately understood of what he was silently telling her.

She blinked her eyes slowly a silent acknowledgement of his message to her. Yan saw the silent exchange between the two of them, but said nothing about it as he walked slowly a languid laziness to his steps, and yet somehow it looked so elegantly sensual and dangerous like that of a sleeping predator.

"I'll be returning back to Japan today, you should return to Hogwarts," Sesshoumaru says, his eyes gazing towards of Yan for a brief moment, before turning his attention back at Kagome and walking away after a lingering look at her as he was followed by the rest of the Court member who each bowed to her respectfully when they passed by her.

Until he left her line of sight, Kagome turned as she took the path out to London's busy street, and towards the train station heading right back towards Hogwarts. The ride is deathly quiet with Kagome and Yan occupying one cabin and the one next to her by the General that was assigned to her by Sesshoumaru, who had been following her since the time when the interrogation is over.

From time to time, Kagome would glance over at Yan in consideration, and thoughts, but after a while she chose to look out of the window at the passing scenery. And this cause Yan to feel slightly annoyed that she is not giving him the attention or time. He had expected her to be asking him questions, or at least some things about him, but she did not, and instead kept to her silence.

Though Yan is not one to be able to keep his silence, but he instead changed seat to take the one next to her, cozying up against her as he shifted her closer towards the window, an arm slinking itself around of her waist to keep her secured to his side and not change seat or move away.

"Get away from me," she warned him, but it fell upon deaf ears as Yan continued what he was doing.

"How cold, I just wanted to warm both of us up," he told her innocently, "Though if you would like to try the other methods, I'm open to it," he added on suggestively with a charming smile that most would be unable to resist.

She growled, and shoved the other off her, though he did budge enough for her to escape, but she knows that he is fully capable of keeping her there in his arms if he so wishes for it to happen. Kagome left, disappearing from her cabin to the one where the General that Sesshoumaru had assigned to her to.

"Feisty as always," Yan mused, a thoughtful look flashes through his eyes as he leaned back against the seat of the chair with his back, combing his finger through his hair as he looked up at the ceiling of the train, and closed his eyes in content for a moment.

Headmistress McGonagall was being overly careful, and just told Kagome to not do anything at the moment, even talking to the students should they have any questions for her. Prevention she says for things from getting complicated, but then it suited her as well.

"Why not let's take a walk in the forest," Yan suggested after Headmistress McGonagall dismissed them.

Just as Kagome walked away, "There's a surprise there for you," he tried enticing her with.

Kagome stopped in her steps, did not say anything, after a while, she turned her head to glance at him from the corner of her eyes.

"I'm not interested," she told him, resuming in her steps as she went on towards the hallway of Hogwarts.

"You're no fun at all, where is your sense of adventure," Yan whined a little as he caught up with her, reaching out with his hand to grab hers, but unsure if it was intentional or unintentional of her, her hand avoided his too naturally with the swing of her hands when she walked, or when she tugged at her clothes.

Yan frown, but so did the General that was following after her as he glanced coolly at Yan as he kept close pace with Kagome. There is a feel of danger that the male is emitting from time to time, something that made him feel even more alert despite of him looking harmless. Even more so, he is still an unknown person with no one really knowing the extent of his powers, or destructiveness and his personality as well.

"Lady Kagome," the General called out hesitantly.

"You may stay with me for tonight, we will find you a place to stay in the morning," Kagome told him as she regarded him more friendly than she did with Yan.

"Yes Lady Kagome," he replied formally taking her orders seriously.

Though Yan is not too happy with how easily Kagome is being so openly friendly with another male that is not Sesshoumaru in his view, most especially when in comparison to her attitude towards him. His smiled almost mockingly, at himself mainly than anything as he silently followed after her, wrapping an arm around of her waist as to show their intimacy and giving the other male a look at the other male following her, who ignored him strictly.
