Sonic P.O.V
Tails Stared at her in amazement. He had never seen her before. She was…for once, he didn't have the words to describe her. He foolishly rested his hand on the broken table he was meaning to get fixed, and it broke under his weight. He started to fall and Eternity's hand shot from her side. He was frozen…..In midair. The turquoise vase that just happened to be there was still continuing to fall. Her other hand shot out and the vase also stopped in midair. Sonic's eyes widened in surprise.
"But-H-H-How?" He asked, his voice stuttering. She sat Tails and the vase down and she shrugged.
"I don't know it just felt right. I must not remember anything if I can do something like that." She twisted her hair around her index finger and felt stupid. "If I can do something that amazing who knows what else I'm capable of." She stared down at her hands and for the first time since waking up, she noticed scars across her wrist. She quickly stuffed her hands into her coat pocket and made sure nobody saw.
"Well, I'm going to guess you have telekinesis." Tails concluded. Eternity got a puzzled look on her face. "It means you can control things with your mind." He quickly added. She nodded.
"Hey Tails? Can you go upstairs and find a room for our little…..guest here?" Sonic asked, motioning to the blonde hedgehog.
"Yeah sure. Be right back." He ran upstairs. Suddenly out of the blue, a small piercing noise entered her ears. It got loader and she moaned in pain. Her head started to pound. She fell to the ground and Sonic ran to her side, asking….something. She cradled her head in her hands when a small voice spoke to her. Someday. Someday you will return to me. I am your master. You Are Mine. She fell to the ground, and for the second time that day, she blacked out.
Silver's P.O.V.
When Silver returned, he had soon found out that Ember was taking a shower. He knocked and she yelled for him to come in.
"Hey Ember. I'm going to set the sweats on the counter, Kay?"
"Okay." Wow. He just couldn't believe it. Only two months after Blaze's death, there was already another girl in his shower. He smiled to himself, laughing silently to his own joke, and exited the bathroom. It seemed to take forever before Ember finally got out of the shower. She opened the door and steam pillowed out around her, her wet hair falling down around her shoulders. She looked like she came out of Silver's closet. Then only thing that wasn't his was her sneakers. She grinned and waved at Silver who gladly returned it. She sat on the couch next to him.
"Hey Silver? She out yet?", Shadow called from the other room. Ember was glad he was in the other room. After that "conversation" they had in the kitchen, Ember wasn't sure how she felt about him. He exited the bedroom and sat on the chair across the room from her. "I see you made yourself cozy." He said, noticing the way Ember sat so close to Silver. She blushed and scooted over.
"Okay. Anyways, where did you come from?" Silver asked, diverting his attention towards Ember.
"I don't really remember. All I remember was waking up in with you guys staring at me."
"So you have no memory, At all? That's a little strange."
"Very strange." Shadow added, eyeing her suspiciously. He was really starting to get on her nerves. She could feel her face get hot as he continued with his comments. "Are you sure you're not some sort of Dr. Eggman's creations or something?" She stood up and Shadow got a grin on his face. "In case you are, we might as well just throw you out now." Silver stood up next to her. Her hands lit with a very hot light that illuminated her and Silver. Silver spoke first.
"Okay Shadow. Just leave or I'll let her burn your ass." Shadow put his hands up defensively.
"Okay. Okay. I'm leaving." He turned toward Ember. "I know something is different about you. I will find out." His grin appeared on his face again. "See you tomorrow." He opened the door, stepped out, and slammed it shut.
"Well then, How 'bout I fix up my room for you to sleep in. I can-"
"No. No. No. I'll sleep on the couch. Your house you know."
"Okay. Well. . . . .Goodnight." He waved and disappeared in the dark hallway, and she flopped on the couch, staring at the ceiling. Where did I come from? Why am I here? Why can't I remember anything? She pondered these questions as her lids fell heavily shut.
