You gently placed your hand on the windows, gazing out at the rain that had just now started to drop. You watched as the other villagers darted to their homes to escape it. You didn't mind the rain, in fact you sort of enjoyed it. It soothed you like nothing else could. With a grin, you skipped over to your coat and quickly put it on. Once outside on your home, you let out a content sigh. It felt wonderful but there was still something missing. You couldn't put your finger on it but you knew it was important. You shrugged, dismissing it quickly before making your way towards your favourite spot. You placed your hand upon the wet grass, feeling it brush between your fingers as you knelt down beside a patch of flowers. As your hand wondered towards the flowers, you could have sworn you felt someone watching you. A shiver ran down your spine at the thought. "But who would be out here in this weather?" You whispered, still feeling uneasy. Something gently landed on your hand, causing you to freeze for a second before you allowed yourself to find out what it was. A rose, a red rose was now lying in front of you. "But..." You reached out towards it, your hand brushing against the delicate petals. Another fluttered down and landed beside it. "What is going on?" Your voice trailed off as another followed suit. You sat up slowly, your hands now rested on your lap. You heard a light chuckle but you couldn't pin point where it had come from. You gaze wondered left to right, confused at what was going on. "W-who's there?" You stuttered. "This isn't funny"

"Look up" A gentle voice called out

As you did so, your eyes caught what appeared to be someone dressed in green. Your head tilted up at the branches they rested on. You stared at them for only a moment before calling out. "Link..."

He chuckled again as he jumped from the tree, a soft thump followed. "(Y/N), you must know what day it is"

"Umm...it's Friday.

He crouched down to you and carefully took your hands in his. "Well yes, but it's also know by another name. February 14th. You must know"

"Ah" A sudden realization struck you at the mention of the date. "Valentine's day"

"Exactly" He lent towards you, his eyes staring into yours. A light blush founds its way onto your cheeks. "Now, I have one very important question that I would like you to answer. My happiness depends on this, so think very carefully" A wide grin spread across his face.

"O-okay, ask away"

He took a long, deep breath. "Will you be my valentine?"
