Sorry my friends! I forgot the disclaimers (but don't close this because there is a little bit to read at the bottom for the story). I do not own Hetalia. I do not own the basic idea of this. I got it off of a pinterest post, and I had to make this into a fanfic. It was a plot bunny that I couldn't let go. Sorry. :/ Thank you for reading this! I hope you have had a wonderful time of crying. :( Jk. I received many reviews about how it was sad and bittersweet. Thank you for your tears. Many of you wanted a little bit more on how it was to end. Well. Here it goes. It might make you cry some more... but I don't know.
It ends happy.
Arthur was proud to show Francis all the tricks that he taught Hero, and was a proud man for many years after that. (Whenever he thinks of the shocked face of the Frog, he can't help but smile)
Francis luck ran out with the girls in two years, and grew fond of Cats.
Alfred's buddies whom he saved came by every once in a while and played with Hero with tears in their eyes. They could only thank Hero for letting their lives be spared.
The letter was sent to the Commander of Alfred, and it appeared in the newsletter a few days later. Arthur had to refuse money offers all the time to help pay for the 'Heroic Hero'.
Arthur lives with Hero for almost six years until he dies of old age on the same date as Alfred, and is buried next to him. Almost the entire town gets to go to the funeral of the dog. And to this day, Arthur still brings three tennis balls to the grave every year. He likes to throw them as far as he can, so that Hero could chase them.
(The end, for real)
