Kuroko stood on a street court alone as he held a basketball in his hands. He stared at the space around him as clouded memories began roaming around from his eyes. He could not forget them. The memories were flooding his own soul. A picture of them all together walking side by side blew in front of his eyes. He closed his baby blue eyes as he recalled everything.

"Nice pass, Tetsu!"

"The only one who can beat me is me!"

"Pass the ball next time to me, Kurokocchi!"

"You're a hindrance, Kurokocchi."

"I really don't want to say this to you but good job today."

"This is why you're no good."

"Kuro-chin~ Do you want a vanilla candy~?"

"Basketball is troublesome."

"Good work today, Kuroko-kun."

"Winning is everything, Tetsuya."

"One by one they left me. They disappeared from my side. The door that separated us together closed as I was left from the other side with the closed door in front of me."

Kuroko gently placed his forehead on the door as he closed his eyes. Tears ran down to his cheeks until it reached the white floor. They changed so much that he couldn't keep up and he ended up being alone. Their days as friends had been a memory for him but now that friendship has been shattered into pieces. Was there a friendship deep inside of them or was it just all fake from the beginning? Was it just an illusion?

"But it felt so true..."

The bluenet touched the door. It was too late. They were so far from him to reach. He was alone again...

Their days with each other...

Their smiles...

Their friendship...

It was all gone.

"Oi, Kuroko!"

Kuroko opened his eyes slowly as he looked back and saw his team. Kagami approached him as he smacked his head.

"Where were you?! Don't you know we were worried sick about you, you damn idiot!" Kagami shouted as he released a growl. Kuroko stared at him as he averted his gaze to his team.

"This freshmen seriously... Making their seniors worry about them." Hyuuga sighed as he scratched his head.

"Now, now. At least we found him. Oh yeah that reminds me-"

"Die, Izuki."

"Eh?! I wasn't even-"

"Everyone, since we're all here, let's go to Maji Burger." said Riko as she pointed at the restaurant from afar. Teppei agreed with her as he dragged Hyuuga who was shouting at him. The other followed them as they chatted happily. Kagami followed in instant. Kuroko stared at his team once more as he looked down to the basketball he was holding.

That's right.

Seirin is his team now.

The other Miracles have their own teams also.

"Even so... I'll be waiting until that day comes."

"Kuroko! You coming or not?"

Kuroko flashed a small smile as he raised his head from the basketball. "I'm coming."

Until we can build that shattered bond again.

Guess I'll be waiting for that day.

Kuroko looked at the closed door once again as he flashed a genuine smile. He will surely bring them back and build back the shattered bond together. He walked away towards his team as the wind blew his hair swiftly.
