Chapter 3-Guns fer dayz

Twilight could finally speak. "Wow. This is a lot of stuff. What are these?"

"These are guns. Guns are a certain type of weapon that I enjoy very much. Most guns from back in the 1600's to the 1800's were very inaccurate, and you could only shoot about one or two shots per minute. And that is if you were good! And no Rainbow. She took it in her magic and started without warning started aiming it at the other ponies and me. "How does this thing work?" And she aimed the gun at... Oh god... Her own eye. I was telling her to stop, but she wasn't listening. I had to yell.

"Drop the firearm!" Twilight's magic disappeared from the edges of the gun and I heard the metal hit the floor. "First rule of firearm safety! "Anyway, since you are smart, and you are relatively new to this, I still trust you enough to pick the gun up and for the love of god point it at the ground."

Twilight shakily said, "Yes sir." And picked the gun up.

Phew. Now that... Wait did she just say 'Yes sir'? I decided to ask silently. "Twilight, what's with the 'Yes Sir'?"

I picked up my box of shotgun shells, and I saw the 12-Gauge shells that I needed. I also saw that I had some Dragonfire shells, so I loaded seven off those as well for me to shoot. "O.K. Rainbow, just aim and shoot. I'll tell you when to stop."

Rainbow nodded. Everypony put on their earmuffs. Rainbow looked down the sights, and fired once. The roar of the gun was loud, and pellets splattered the target. Rainbow held down the trigger, going full auto, and emptied the clip except for the seven that I loaded. "That was awesome! I want to do that again!" Rainbow basically yelled in my ear.

I chuckled. "If you thought that was awesome, check this out." I aimed down the sights and fired at a different target. It immediately set on fire and I continued shooting until I was out of rounds. After fifteen seconds, the target was a smoldering wreck.

I turned to see everypony with their mouths wide open, RD's in a giant smile."Holy shit that was amazing!"

I smirked and put the AA-12 away. "That's enough of that, let's get to some other stuff." I looked to see what I could shoot next, and I eventually found it, my favorite gun, the FAMAS G2. I pulled it off the rack and asked, "Who wants to shoot this?"

Surprisingly, Fluttershy's hand went up. "Um... I want to try it... If it's not too much trouble."

I smiled. "Great! Let me get you loaded and we'll be good to go." I grabbed my box of ammo and pulled out 50 5.56x45mm rounds, another magazine for the FAMAS, and put 25 rounds into one mag, and the other 25 into the other. I pushed one of the mags into the back of the receiver, it being a Bullpup gun, and handed it to Fluttershy. "Push this back and then you'll be ready to fire. Be ready for the recoil."

Fluttershy nodded, pulled back the charging handle with a click aimed down the sights. She pulled the trigger and the gun roared to life, spewing bullets at 900 RPM. I smiled and so did Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. When she was out of ammo, she handed the gun back to me. "Thank you, now it's my turn to shoot this baby."

I took the spent mag out of the receiver, and put it on the table in front of me. I grabbed the other mag, pushed it in, cocked back the handle, and fired. I smiled. "That's fine by me. Let me get you set up here first." I got my G18 off of the wall, and my 33 round magazine. I also got 33 9x19mm rounds from my ammo box. I pushed the rounds into the mag, put the mag in the gun, pulled back the slide, and handed it to Twilight. "There you go. Aim and fire when ready. Be ready for the recoil. It has a lot."

She took the gun from my hands, aimed and fired. Thankfully, she held the recoil down well. It's not easy to do that when your gun is firing 1100 rounds per minute. Like the rest of the ponies, she smirked. I was ecstatic. Half of the ponies, one being Fluttershy enjoyed shooting. I'm sure that Pinkie and Applejack would enjoy it. The only pony I wasn't sure about was Rarity. Time to see if she would enjoy it.

I looked at Rarity. "Hey Rare, you want to spin the wheel?"

Don't fire all the rounds at once either. Wait until you're aligned with your target again before shooting."

Rarity nodded, grabbed the gun with two hands, looking like she had done this before and shot. All eight shots were right on the bullseye. "Man Rarity, who knew you were such a sharpshooter?"

Rarity grinned. "Just because I am a lady does not mean that I cannot shoot a gun well." She set the gun down on the table in front of her.

I picked up the gun and put it back where I got it. "O.K. Who wants to go next?"

Pinkie raised her hand. "Oh! Oh! Oh! Pick me! Pick me!"

I playfully sighed and rolled my eyes while I smirked. "O.K. You're up next Pinkie. Do you want to spin?" She nodded and took a spin. She landed on the Uzi. "A great selection. Let's get this started." I pulled out 32 9mm Parbellum rounds and the Uzi from off the wall.

Just as I was about to put the rounds in the mag, Pinkie came up behind me. "Can I try to put the rounds in and fire it on my own?" I thought about it for a second. She had probably seen how to do it, so she could probably do it. I nodded and she hugged me. "Thank you!" And she went to work.

She was expertly putting the rounds on the mag and inserting the mag into the gun. She pulled back the charging handle, and she didn't even aim down the sights, she just fired from the hip. I will admit, it was pretty badass.

When she stopped firing she let out an adorable squeak and rushed to me. "That was awesome! I want to do that again!"

I chuckled. "Now, Applejack has to go, but we all can do a different gun another go-round. She smiled and bounced off to join the rest of her friends. "Now Applejack. There is a gun here that if specifically want to get a picture of you with. Wait one second." It took me a bit, but I found it. A double-barrel shotgun.

"O.K. Sugarcube, is this alright?" She held the shotgun so the barrel was parallel with the floor and perpendicular to her body, basically going across her stomach.

"That's perfect. Let me get my phone out... And... There we go. Alright. I'll load 'er up an you can get to shooting it." She handed the shotgun to me and I broke the shotgun, put two 10-Gauge shotgun shells into the gun, then pushed it back together. "Now, here you go. Fire when ready."

She nodded, aimed, and fired both shells in quick succession. "Wow! That was one darn tootin good kick. Now ah know what it was like to be the tree during applebuckin."

I smiled. "Well, everyone of us has fired a gun now, but who wants to go again?" Surprisingly everypony raised their hands. "O.K. I won't stop you."

In the end Rainbow ended up firing an M4A1, Fluttershy shot a PPsH-41, Twilight a Mag-7, Rarity shot an HK-416, Pinkie fired an M249 SAW, and Applejack a Colt M1911. In the end, everybody had a good time, but all good things must come to an end. Twilight's transmutation spell wore off and the ponies went back to their original forms. "So let's get dinner shall we?" Ponies nodded and I made some salads and pasta. Not much to talk about with that.

After dinner, it was time to go to bed. "Have a good night everypony. Pinkie, your sleeping with me tonight."

Everypony went to bed except for me and Pinkie. Pinkie was already in bed when I walked into the room. "So Pinkie, how was your day?"

She smiled widely. "Oh today was fantabulous! I did so much stuff! The middle of the day wasn't so good, but I managed to pull through."

I smiled. "Well, good night Pinkie."

"Goodnight Jack.

After about ten minutes of being asleep, Pinkie woke me up. "Jack? I'm sorry to wake you, but I wanted to cuddle with you. I'm a bit cold."

I smiled at her. "That's fine. Just come next to me. I got you." She came up next to me and put her had on my shoulder. I rubbed her scalp then kissed her on the forehead. "Good night Pinkie."

Holy shit it's finally done! That's right! I actually posted something! It has been so damn long and I am sorry. I just don't know what went wrong. I was writing one second, then I remembered about Steam and TF2 being a thing. I have been addicted to that game, so hopefully I can break away from it because right now I am on a two-week vacation to California. My family and I will be driving up the coast and having an all around great time.
