Hey guys, I don't know how many people will read this, but like the title says I am no longer going to be posting any chapters for War Fighters. I know it's disapointing for those of you who like the story and want more but I just don't like where the story was going and I'll explain why.

Reason I stopped:

I stopped because I had no idea what to write, writers block, and no free time to write this. I have tried rewriting this story but... I am not happy with how it came out. I sort just threw this story together when I made it and posted it. I could probably make a rewrite now that was 10 times better but I lack the time to do so because I am up to my neck in school work along with several other things going on in my life.

What had I planned?:

I had planned for a long series of books I would work on over the years where my character "Ray Shadeslayer" meet the bots and they were turned into cyborg humans. I can't even remember what else I had planned for this story when I was 14. To be honest... the story was bad, I think I cool idea, but I lacked the skills to write it down in a interesting way that would not be hard to read.

during my rewrite I had attempted I planned that Ray would have been comma from the very start of the story, being captured by Cyris, who would have become a main villain of the story along side M.E.C.H, and Silas. Cyris would hack into M.E.C.H and steal all the info they had. The auto-bots would attack M.E.C.H's base to retrieve a relic. Bee and Smokescreen would have found Ray under a pile of rubble after part of the base collapses and take him back to the base to get medical attention (at this point I can see several plot holes in my story already). After retrieving the relic Ratchet would have been testing it. Which causes the bots to turn into half cybertronian half human cyborgs, or tech-organics I think their often refer-ed to. Skip forward a little bit a and we get to where the story starts, Ray waking up from his coma (which would he would have been in about six weeks). then we would get a flash back scene to two weeks earlier where the bots are attacking the base to retrieve the relic and end up finding Ray. (note: like I said I am not happy with how it turned out but I don't know how to make it any better) that's about where I stopped the rewrite.

What i would have written had I continued was Ray meeting the bots, he would have kept the part about him being a super soldier a secret and would have the team believe he was a teenager. Optimus and Ratchet would meet with Ray in private and ask why he was keep his identity a secret. Ray would explain that he'd rather Arcee (the only other auto-bot on team prime to have meet Ray before) think he died instead of opening old wounds. (the reason why Arcee does not remember Ray is because she was a kid/sparkling at the time and the war forget about him) Smokescreen would have became Ray's "guardian", and Ray being a mentally scarred super soldier who's seen countless years of war, death, chaos, and destruction would have to pretend to be an average 19 year old teenager (Ray doesn't really age so he always looks like he's in his late teens or early early twenties) who just happened to signup with the USA military eight months ago, but since he "now knows" the bots exist he has been "reassigned". I planned for some if not many humorous scenes because of this. later right out the time the predacons aka predaking appears in the story the bots would come across a maximal, who happens to be the last of her kind. Ember the red wolf, who's been deactivated for centuries. A little later Ray would have explained who he was to Arcee, she would be mad for a while then later calm down. Now we're getting to the part where I stopped planning what would happen and just things I wanted in the story. Some of the random things I had planned were.

Miko would have slowly change through out the story to be smarter.

Megatron would... I can't remember what I had planned for him or the decepicons other than them falling apart :|

Ray and his team to meet with Team Prime

Arcee x Jack

the predacons rising again

Will I continue or rewrite this story in the future?:

I don't know, but I want to say yes. If I do rewrite this story it will be completely different from how it is now. It would be A LOT darker because of Ray, who would be the main character. It most likely wouldn't take place on earth. It would have a lot more of Rays past in it, and what would I call the reboot/rewrite? I don't know, umm "The Traveler" or something like that. Anyways, here is what I have written for the next chapter and the rewrite before I had stopped, enjoy. Oh and thank you NLMengQhi for the help. have a good day guys, I'm out.

Hi its me, lightning back with another chapter yessssssss. SO, SO, SOOOOOOOOO SORRY for not updating sooner, I have had a lot of things going on in my real life as well as school *groans*. and over the time of my absents I had an idea that changes a lot of the story lines past plot so I will be going back to change past chapters so the story fit the idea I had... yeah I'm really looking forward to that... NOT -_-. And I have had to out take over five thousand words of this chapter due to it not fitting in the way I wanted it to.

Anyway I hope you like it and as always I'm sorry for any misspells, grammar mistakes, and boring to read parts of the story.

I would also like to thank all of you who , followed, or reviewed the story, I'm just happy it has some attention, again thank you guys so much :), and now let's get this crazy show on the road.

Mission: none

Place: Autobot base

Time: 5:00 A.M / may / twenty second / 2023

POV: Ray

Waking up from the nightmare had every single time I fell asleep, I sat up from the small couch I laid on. I had finished my digital trip hours ago, and decided to get some sleep after finishing the simulator.

Cracking my neck I checked the time on my H.U.D.

'5:00 A.M, well I should get my uniform from the temp. base so I don't look like a teenager, but then again they already have seen me in my b.l.a.c.k jacket which would look like a hoodie to them so they probably already think that... Aaaaaah screw it, I'm getting my uniform'

With some groans and effort I got off the couch and limped my way down to the ground bridge. Hacking the terminal as I limped off the last step, I silently made my way to the bridge, well as silently as a injured man could be. The second I stepped into the bridge I could feel the effects of radioactive matter flood through my body, it was enough that it would make any organic living thing besides myself feel uncomfortably nauseous, but not enough to kill. A moment later I stepped out in the confines of my temp. base, the sudden change in temperature caused me to shiver and I could see my breath every time I exhaled.

'Did I leave the base's doors open? I'm positive they were locked shut'

Looking to the front doors I found them closed and locked, shaking my head I limped to my bedroom, I noticed the longer I stayed the colder it got. Checking my heating system I though my H.U.D I found it was still working and was supposedly was generating heat.

'something's wrong here, very, very wrong. I need to grab what I came for and leave. I figure out what's going on here later'

Opening my bedroom's doors I froze, almost literally, shivering I ignored the freezing cold and walked to the small drawer next to my bed. Pulling the drawer open I reached to grab my uniform, which really was an old heavy weathered trench coat that had been modified to last through most anything, which included it being fire proof up to a thousand degrees, bullet proof, blast resistant, waterproof, and could withstand the force of an unsharpened katana sung at full strength without tearing. A cloud of dust flew off the coat as I unfolded the coat by hanging it by it's shoulder pads. I took a second to look at what was one of the last things given to me by my father in his will. The coat was mostly black and a gun metal gray mixed with faded red highlights. Along it's arms, chest, and back green digital camo rectangle boxes were heavily stitched onto the dark weathered coat, the interior of the coat was a blood red digital camo mixed with more of the green digital camo, the faded red highlights formed lines and circles in a crossing pattern that made what looked like small off center targets on the coat, and the most interesting feature of the coat was a light grey cation triangle with the word alone under it stitched onto the coat's right shoulder, and over all it gave off an old militia commander look. Throwing the coat on I grabbed an old, large mechwork gauntlet from the bottom of the drawer, closed it, and jogged back to where the ground bridge was.

Stepping through open portal, I felt the radiation flooded through my body then dissipate as I walked out the other end. Hacking back into the ground bridge interface I closed the ground bridge as I walked out, and attached the gauntlet to my left wrist. Reaching into a pocket I pulled out two grey gloves that looked like they were cut off from a sweater or a long sleeve shirt, and slid them over my hands. Walking back up the stairs to a "game area" or "kids area" I made my way to the closest wall and leaned against it, closing my eye and optic as my head met the metal and concrete wall. For a while I stood there doing nothing, to cope with the boredom I hacked into the bases security cameras, looking around the once abandoned missile silo. After searching all rooms and hall ways minus the Bots private qaurters I pulled out of the system.

'they need help, and I could be the one to give it to them, BUUUUT Orion, Cee, and Grumpy would easily recognize my skills, Orion might believe I'm alive without taking the news badly, Hatchet will blow it off, but it would still disturb him, and Arcee... Sheee *mentally sighs* she would ask questions, do something rash, or both '

Blowing a puff of air from my lips and began talking to myself. "What to do, what to do, *sighs*, this is going to be frustrating, ha" I laughed sarcastically

Taking my mind off my troubles I started listening to music, mulling over how the battle went, and would not stop replaying the sceen in my mind.

'How was I defeated, no, turned into a bloody pulp so easily by Cyris. I've fought him before, and I know him better than I know myself, so how did how he turn the tables that fast before I could register what happened... well now I know I have to step up my game to ward off an attack like that'

Then a thought accrued to me as I ran my hand over the place where my sword, silver blight, should have been. 'WAIT, WHERES MY SABER!?'

My eyes immediately opened and I rushed as stealthily as I could back to the medical bay. Taking a minute to look around and finding no traces of it, I thought of where I last saw it.

'CRAP! Please let it be in that area I lost it at'

I rushed back out of the medical bay and hacked back into the ground bridge control, placed the coordinates, and sprinted/limped back to the now ruined desert me and Cyris fought on. The sky was still a dark blackish blue color, but that was slowly changing to a lighter color as dawn began to light the sky. Using my H.E.D.S phones I magnified my range of sight, which already dwarfed most living thing's sight. For the next hour I searched the sandy desert looking for any signs of my sword, I finding none, and with the sun starting to peek over the desert mountains my only option left was to return to bot's base. Before anyone noticed I had left.

/:warring "alpha 1" code has been activated on Halo Tharx/:

'Really Atlis? Six days after Cyris appears and you're just now contacting the other Blood Angels? Well, you had better have a good reason for it'

Hiking back I made my way back to the ground bridge, and back to the underground base. First thing I heard when coming through the bridge was someone yelling.

_"HEY GUYS WAKE UP, THE KIDS ARE GOING TO BE UP SOON"_ a youthful voice yelled

'GEEEZZ he's loud... oh, wait... CRAP!'

Speeding my pace to a run I tried my best not to atract attention to myself, unfortunately I tripped over a well, or rather a not so well placed tool box. Tools were sent flying to the ground making a ridiculous amount of sound.

'there's no possible way they didn't hear that...'

For a moment I froze, listening for any sounds of someone approaching, and nothing, absolute dead silence other than the sound of the scout yelling for everyone to wake up. I sighed in relief as I pushed myself from the ground, and walked to the medical bed covered in my blood. As I walked I wondered what my options were and what I was going to do.

'option one, sneak out of this place and disappear, option two, stay here and tell them who I am, or option three stay here but posse as a rookie or low profiled solder. Option one wouldn't work because they've already seen me, option two would get me killed, so option three it is.'

Turning my disguise voice off I continued planning what I was going to say once they asked who I was. So far I had come up with was, I was a captain in a small platoon of thirty men and women who tracked and assassinate extremely dangerous terrorist's who had gotten away with their sins and made it impossible for the local law enforcement to bring them to justice. Which wasn't too far from the truth, as for my age, name, and rank I was nineteen, my name Raymond Micgash call sign Dauntless, and I went through the ranks by a misplaced paper work accident the army didn't care to fix.

'well their going to want a reason why I joined the army'

After another ten or so minutes I had my back-story, I was born in Australian and lived there until an unpublished terrorist attack killed almost everyone in my biological family, after getting over my depression I went to live with my uncle in America, and after a year living with him I joined the US army. That was the story I was going with, and hopefully they would accept. The sound of heavy metal footsteps echoed through the large base, I could also hear voices speaking, but wasn't able to make out what was being said until they came closer.

"... and what the pit was up with the armor, normally humans don't wear armor unless they know their going to be in a fight." Arcee stated her voice filled with doubt and venom "Why was he a bloody mess left to die, and what or who did it to him, not even cons would leave a body in that bad of shape. Well not unless its Screamer or Arachnid" she continued

'dang she just knows which questions to ask... how in the heck am I going to explain Cyris, tell them I fought one of the most deadly demons in the universe, and oh did I forget to mention demons exist? yeah like that would go over well, hmmm what if I where to say I had been captured and tortured for information. After they decided that I wasn't worth their time and effort, they beat, shot, and burned my body before dumping my body, and bombed the area they dumped me in to make sure I would die. It was believable at the least, but I doubted it would work.

"oh gosh, somebody help me" I muttered under my breath

"For now lets just forget about that Arcee, and go pick up the kids it's Saturday so no boring school" a young adult voice suggested

'if I had to guess that is either Smokescreen or Bumble Bee, but Bee's file said he could only speak in cybertronian so that had to be Smokescreen'

_"Whatever, hey race ya to Rafs house"_ Bumble Bee called out running

"Oh you're on" Smokescreen replied his smugness practically leaking from his voice as the sound of T-cogs echoed through the base

"mechs" Arcee groaned causing me to chuckle, something I rarely did aloud.

'I'm going to hazard a guess that hanging out with "team prime" will be like hanging out with the fortune hunters (one of the parodon's teams). heh heh Oh their bad luck combined with a few stupid mistakes is definitely worth a good laugh'

Summary: With no memory of how he got there, Ray Shadeslayer wakes up from a coma to find himself in team prime's underground base. Who somehow managed to get themselves turned into human cybertronian hybrids permanently while he was in his comma. While keeping his true identity a secret he helps the hybrid bots and humans adjust to their new forms. How will they react when they find out their forms are permanent? Who or what put Ray into a coma? How will the team cope with their new forms? and what will happen when they learn of Ray's identity and dark past he tries so hard to lock away?

Hi guys and viewers of the Internet I am lightninghawk101 or lightning, and I since I don't really know how to write a good author's note at the beginning of a story so I decided screw the formalities.

This is my first official story I am working on, but the fourth rewrite of it. and if you're here and you read the last version of this story I would like to say that I'm sorry for making you wait so long. Hopefully my writing is noticeably better than it was before, and I know I sucked and the story was chalked full of mistakes so sorry about that. If you're new to this story ignore most of what I just said. and I like to say I hope I didn't make this story unreadable and enjoy :)

but enough of my blabber, here's the story.

I OWN NOTHING EXCEPT for sky captain Ray Shadeslayer, Ember the red wolf, OC's, and the places I make up. (I am sorry if I have happened to have a place or charter that is the same as your's, or a real person / place, so please know that was unintentional)

POV: Ray

"Uurrrggg man what the heck aaackk, happened" I groaned as I slowly opened my heavy eyes

For a moment I was looking at a white wall of light, then my vision cleared. A bright light hanged over my head blurring my sight and I had to blink several times to adjust my eyes to see what I was looking at. I was in a medical room, a very large one at that, but a medical room none the less. Looking to my right I could see a large assortment of basic medical tools and medicines lined on tables and shelves. I also saw my firearms, weapons, equipment, and armor laying on a table. Looking down at myself I saw I was wearing my trench coat, white "black" jacket, and a pair of black jeans stained with blood.

'What the... WHY THE HECK AM I COVERED IN BLOOD!?'

For a moment my mind went blank, then the wheels in my mind began turning.

'Ok I'm covered in blood, have no idea where I am, no idea how I got here, what happened to me, and have almost no energy to move... WHAT'S GOING ON!'

A logical explanation would be I got drunk and got into a brawl gone horribly south, but I never drink alcohol, as for the brawl, that was very likely considering what I do for a living. I tried to sitting up on the bed, but found even that was something I was too energy deprived to do. I groaned loudly and closed my eyes in defeat. Then it occurred to me, I wasn't wearing my headset, which meant I was completely deaf.

'Ooooh COOOOME OON, ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!'

/"System reboot initiated, error code 5.02, reboot failed to startup. Reboot reinstated... reboot success AI Beta online"/ The familiar child like voice of my AI stated in my head

'Welcome back to the land of the living Beta, if this can even be considered living.'

/"Great, just the way I wanted to be greeted when I "woke up", and good morning to you too Ray"/ He replied sarcastically

'Ok that was uncalled for, but I can't move my body, I don't remember what happened to me, I don't know where I am, I can't hear anything, I'm covered in blood, and I need answers'

/"... Why does this remind me of the old days, and not the good ones"/ he asked rhetorically

'Please just run a scan over my body Beta'

/"Sure, just a second"/ he answered

'Thanks'

/"you're welcome, alright I getting a lot of major red flags, so to speak, coming across your whole body. My best guess one of our "target's" wasn't working alone, or got the jump on us. Either way your body is showing extreme physical stress and exhaustion, like you were strapped to a bomb and went into a coma. There are also signs of your body receiving lethal wounds, but were taken care of what had to have been a medical expert. Seriously Ray you're lucky to even be alive right now, let alone awake and bored!"/ Stated

'What are or were my injures?'

/"You had several lacerations on your chest, arms, and legs. Second degree burns cover the entire back portion of your body. You had a stab wound near where your heart was. Your wings are broken, several of the bones in your left leg are broken, and deep bruises cover most of your body"/ He stated calmly

'Why don't I feel any of that then, my nerves may be dull, but I should still feel that!?'

/"Drugs"/ was his simple reply

'Oooof course'

/"Look I know how much you hate drugs even if there for medical use, but do really want to feel the pain of every little thing your body has gone through, and oh yeah I just finished my scan, it looks like I forgot to mention your body has been in a coma to top everything off"/ Beta commented causing my mind to go blank

'...'

/"Ray?'/

'...'

/"RAY?"/

'...'

/"ANSWER ME RAY GOSH DANG IT!"/ He shouted

'...Oh what, sorry I guess my mind went blank there'

/"YOU GUESS! YOU WEREN'T ANSWERING ME FOR THE PAST TEN MINUTES!"/ He continued shouting

'Ok jesh you don't need to scream it, so coma, how long?'

/"Sorry. Two weeks at minimum, and seven at most"/ he stated calming down

'Good to know, can you find out where we are?'

/"Already tried that, and couldn't get a clear image, but I was able to figure out we're still in the US"/

'can you find which states we might be located in?'

/"Yeah, Nevada, Californa, Arizona, New Mexico, or Oregon"/

'That's a start, but is that all the information we? '

/"No, I also found we are underneath ground by about a hundred to two hundred feet or roughly 33 to 66 meters."/

'better, what else'

/"I'm not sure but I think were in a mountain, but then again we could just be under a plain or something, that or we're in area 51"/

'Ha ha real funny, but I really doubt we are in area 51, and is that all we got then?'

/"Yeah pretty much"/

'So we're suck here'

/"Yep"/

'I can't move and you can't contact the others'

/"Yep"/

'well...*mentally sighs* this SUCKS!'

/"Yep it does"/

'Any ideas on how we got here?'

/"Nope"/

'Great, this is just... *mentally groans*'

/"well maybe, wait, no, never mind I got nothing"/

I laid there, unable to move, unable to hear, and barely able to see. I had nothing to do, no one but Beta to talk to, and I felt horrible.

"Help" I groaned my voice even though I wasn't able to hear it felt weak and muffled

I didn't bother trying to call for help again, my voice was in a pitifully pathetic state. Closing my eyes I let sleep overtake my weak body once more.

Mission: none

Time: 9:00 P.M ,Saturday, July / fourth/ two thousand twenty three (two weeks earlier)

Place: Jaser, Nevada, MECH's base

POV: Third

"Ah you came at last, took you long enough, as you can see here we have the Sky Captain in our possession" a man state as he turned a TV screen on casting a silhouette of himself

"Sorry about that, I had some minor delays nothing worry about, and good I have been waiting a long time for him to turn up somewhere once more." a second replied as he walked up the first, speaking in a calm British sounding voice

"You said we need to subdue him into a coma, what happens if we didn't?" the first asked going straight to the point

"If he is just knocked out there will be no stopping him escaping once he awakens"the second replied

"How do I know I can trust you?" the first man asked after a moment of silence

"If I do recall you were the one to ASK for MY help, I admit to doing untrustworthy things, but I believe it is our best interests to be allies for the time being" the second replied calmly

A moment of silence followed as they both watched the screen.

"You said you didn't want to know who your enemy was, why not?" the first man questioned

"Me and the Sky Captain have a very long history, and because of that I find that going through all the effort just to find out who he would and is a waste of my time." the second answered

"Fine we'll keep his helmet on, but tell me something. I want to know what you want, I asked you to give me technology that can revolutionize the world as we know it and for your help... in a problem I've been having, so what do want in return Cyris?" the first man bluntly asked

"Aaaaa someone who is direct, I like that, I want to know how the captain survived what should have killed him, in short I want a sample of his blood." Cyris stated just as blunt

"What do you mean "what should have killed him", and how does that relate to his blood?" the first man quarreled

"You of all people Mr. Bishop should know we must have our secrets. Now about that blood sample Silas" Cyris asked Silas

"I will order my men to take a vile and study it, but do so with caution" he answered

"Good, now if that is all I would like to check on my old enemy and I would like to take a sample for myself for safe keeping" Cyris stated as he turned to leave

"Go ahead I have no problem with that" Silas replied looking straight at the TV screen as his said ally faded into the darkness.

As he left Silas in the room to think Cyris began hacking into MECH's system and copying all information they had collected without setting off any alarms. Smirking the cloaked man turned a corner stepping through an open steel door and into a dimly lit hallway with all the other doors in it open. Several MECH soldiers glanced up at Cyris as he walked by then went back to their work like he was just another MECH operative, but Cyris wasn't a MECH operative, and he was anything but normal. He was half living half dead sentient machine made of flesh and blood stained metal.

He stood at six point five feet tall making him look like a giant, his muscles were thick and heavy looking, his arms were thick, heavy, and robotic with his hands covered in blood that never seemed to dry. His skin was a deathly pale color of bone white, his two eyes were completely different colors, one an almost glowing color of orangish red (right), and the other completely black (left). And his hair was a glossily jet black styled in a casual manner. He wore a pair of black steel plated combat boots, black heavy duty army jeans ripped at the knees, a dark gray and black T-shirt with the sleeves ripped off, and a black hood that shrouded his face in darkness.

He kept walking until he came upon the final door, this one was closed and locked, but Cyris found it all to easy to hack the electronic lock and walk in. No one occupied the room save for one unconscious man.

'I have been waiting so many decades for this Captain, to know how you survived that lethal injection, the one that should have left nothing of your body, now I will finally know why you lived.' Cyris thought to himself like a person who had been thinking about something for far too long.

He pulled a small syringe from his jeans, pulled a gauntlet off of the captain and pressed the hard metal needle into the steel like skin of his enemy, then with drew enough blood to fill the tube. He pulled the syringe out, placed it back in his pocket, slid the captain's gauntlet back over his arm, and left the room leaving no signs he had ever been there. Then the hall suddenly went pitch black, and a red light slowly flashed on and off followed by an alarm.

:"ALL MECH SOLDIERS TO YOUR POSTS, THE AUTOBOTS HAVE ARRIVED, THIS IS NOT A DRILL I REPEAT THIS IS NOT A DRILL": A voice stated over the speakers

Looking back at his HUD, Cyris could see the autobots attacking the very building he was in now.

'DAMN, I thought you said we would have a week before they found us Silas, oh well, now I get to see if the autobots are truly as powerful as you say' Cyris thought as he sprinted at superhuman speeds through the hall. Turning right Cyris barged his way into the hangar where the autobots were attempting to retrieve something, jumping off one catwalk to another, Cyris continued making his way to higher ground that would still hide himself in darkness. Making another inhuman jump Cyris landed on the highest catwalk. A small beeping alerted Cyris his hacking program had copied all MECHs collected data, smirking he stopped the program, turned his IPhone off, and turned his attention back to the battle at hand.

Raising his left arm and pulling a thin clear screen edged metal and rubber Cyris tapped the screen making come to life and glow a faint blood red. Swiping his gloved finger across the Cyris pulled up a file, a small box of text appeared, "Run Glitchmob, bin ? (YES) - (NO)"

:"Silas I'm temporarily cutting the power, order your men to turn their night vision goggles on": Cyris stated

:"Wait...": Silas replied then added a second later :"do it":

Tapping (YES) the box of text disappeared, for a second nothing happened, then all the lights went out. Turning the screen off Cyris looked at the three auto-bots below him

Cracking his neck Cyris changed his left arm into a miniature gatling directed energy weapon (In short a mini gun that shoots light that is as hard as bullets)
