(Goodbye, Despair Academy Music Plays)

A long silence spread through the air as six surviving classmates stare at the high tech vault door before them. Everyone deep in their thoughts, were anxiously reminiscing from earlier when they were facing their final class trial. Makoto Naegi, known as formerly the Ultimate Lucky Student, recalled he was told that the edge of the world outside reached despair all across the globe. Monobear or also known as Monokuma; is an AI that caused destruction for not only the 78th class mutual killing but for much more sinister acts.

He could never forgive the true mastermind for this killing game - it was simply unforgivable. Furthermore, to find that it was none other then one of his classmates known as the Ultimate Model who was also the True Ultimate Despair...Junko Enoshima.

He just couldn't believe it was possible, but sometimes the impossible becomes possible. To imagine about the worst tragedy in human history from Junko was mind blowing, and at of all places, it all began at Hope's Peak Academy a little over a couple years ago.

Naegi seemed determined as he looked at the vault doorway leading to the outside.

'I just can't accept this reality where most my friends are dead and the world has came to an end. I'll do whatever I can to save this world from more of the destruction then it already is, because I won't give up hope because I know hope won't give up on me'.

"Naegi," he heard Kirigiri say.

Naegi was looking at the ground as they were all standing at the main entrance of the school. He looked up and turned to the Ultimate Detective.

"Let's go. As long as people like you are with me, I'm looking forward to a challenge like this. I believe that together, we'll be able to do anything," Kirigiri said calmly.

"Kirigiri?!" Naegi exclaimed, shocked.

He turned his head so that he was looking at the vault door and raised the remote in his hand.

"Then... I'm opening it," he said, slightly hesitant.

"It's not as if I'm sad to leave, but... I do feel a strange emotion stirring within me," Kirigiri smiled, arms crossed and eyes closed. thinking about the outside world.

"This feels like... well, I don't really know how to say it myself but..." Naegi hesitated for a moment, as everyone lightly gasped from his response.

"Well, isn't it like "graduation"?"

Everyone smiled as they looked at him, understanding what he was getting at. They all knew that within these walls remained their lost and forgotten memories of Hope's Peak Academy. However... out there was a future for the hope of today, to cherish a tomorrow, and thinking about yesterday was not important.

After a few moments of silence between the survivors, Naegi, still holding the remote control in his hands to the outside, pressed the remote control's exit button and the door slowly began to open.

'I open the door with my own hand. With our own hands... We open a door to a place where both hope and despair are blended together: a door to the future.'

A bright ray of white light shone upon them as the vault finally opened up for them to see what was beyond the boundaries of the school.

In the abyss of the unknown lay the ruined world about which Junko Enoshima had told them... And it was all very true.

(Meanwhile Future Foundation Headquarters)

As the main division leaders of future foundation watch the broadcast live feed they all look at the students by their own concerns about their situation. To them they had no clue what was beyond the outside world, as to the future foundation they've suffered the tragedy for almost 2 years. Mr. Kazuo Tengan known as the former adviser at Hope's Peak Academy and the headmaster before Kyoko's father but known now as the first division branch leader; was having a mixture of curiosity and resentment towards the students he saw before him.

"Hope's Peak High School has been liberated?" half asked Tengan.

"Rescue teams aren't there yet?" asked Kyosuke Munakata. Irritated as he feels about the Monokuma's being scattered close around the vicinity; he is hoping that the other members were just being delayed by their attacks and nothing that lead into more casualty. As annoying as the situation is before him from the broadcast; he was more faltered about whether the remaining students of class 78 were going to make out of there in time.

One of the secretaries who's monitoring the future foundation member teams turns around to face Munakata assertively.

"They just arrived at the scene" she replied. Kyosuke Munakata who was formally the Ultimate Student Council President at Hope's Peak but now the vice-leader of the foundation and leader of the second division; he frowns slightly and very quietly sighs under his breath.

"Then, it was Junko Enoshima, after all" he replied. The intensity of the situation wavered by whether the students would join their foundation or fend for themselves on their own out in the world. To Munakata he personally didn't care too much if they joined or not; what bothered him was the fact he wasn't able to know fully about Junko Enoshima's plans before the incident. As he dwells in his mind; he hears a women's voice behind him.

"I'm sorry..." she replied. Munakata immediately turns to face her. The women looked slightly anxious and worried about him as she held both of her hands a bit above her chest.

"I thought I'd thoroughly investigated her" This women in her early to mid 20's was known as formally the Ultimate Housekeeper and Homeroom Teacher for Class 77 B and now the fifth head division leader; Chisa Yukizome.

"I won't tell you not to let it bother you, but that only shows how terrifying she was" replied Munakata. Munakata knew that she had a heavy burden to carry from all of this but to Chisa Yukizome she had other thoughts in mind. She looks down at the ground despair-fully knowing very well that during the tragedy she discovered that Junko was behind it all. However, the brainwashing changed her from when the Despair Twin Sisters were able to use her as a pawn; since then she hasn't been sane. She lightly jogs over to Munakata and places her hands on his chest since he was almost a foot taller than her.

"Kyosuke..." she cried quietly. She smiled evilly feeling that things were going to become more downhill as time progressed for Munakata; the only thing she wanted in her now twisted mind was for her lover to fall into the worse despair possible.

Time froze as the room went all silent, Juzo Sakakura who was formally the Ultimate Boxer at Hope's Peak Academy, and now the Sixth Division leader gave a sneer as he looked at the monitor screen of the remaining students in frustration.

"Tch" he muffled to himself.

'Naegi Makoto...I hate you' thought Juzo irritated at the puzzled and shocked figure of him on the broadcasting screen.

During the events prior two years before the Tragedy at Hope's Peak Academy, Kyosuke Munakata requested Chisa Yukizome to become an assistant teacher at Hope's Peak due to low on staff and later to privately investigate the mysterious incidents that happened such as the "Twilight Murder Case", "The Tragedy at Hope's Peak Academy" and "The Izuru Kamukura Project".

Juzo Sakakura is known to be Munakata's best friend who sticks beside him, he was requested by him to become the Head of Security at Hope's Peak to stay close by with him and succeed with the goals. Then incidentally later help investigate with the other two of his friends from the downhill road of chaos in the school.

The three of them all attended at Hope's Peak Academy when they were in Class 74 together and they all wanted to make a brighter future for the school; especially Kyosuke Munakata. That was the goal, Chisa and Juzo were willing to do everything in their power to make it become a reality for Munakata until everything fell into despair.

As time was beginning to return, Tengan who crossed his hands opens his eyes and looks up at the monitor screen once more as he feels doubt about the classmates situation; almost as if a foreboding situation were about to happen.

"So the door as been opened?" as he half-asked again uncertain from the atrocious incident from all the demise of misfortune from before.

As one of the other secretaries at the front of the monitor screen was looking at the other security cameras live feed in the school; she happen to see a random tallish figure walk towards a table in the physics lab with a little small box in his hands. She couldn't tell what the person looked like as they wore a balaclava over their head and wore an entire black formal clothing outfit.

(Goodbye Despair School Ends...)

(Invitation to Despair Plays...)

"There appears to be another person inside Hope's Peak!" cries the female secretary as she stares at the scene before her in shock.

"Who is the person?" asked Munakata as Chisa leaned off from his chest.

"Can't verify them, but it appears their hiding their identity. It's uncertain which gender the person is too" replies the female secretary zooming in on the person placing something on the table. then kicking at his one foot and standing there for a moment. Before they knew it, the box was lowering within the table and most of everyone in HQ gasped.

"What the hell is going on with that table?! How can that be?! There was only the 16 students left in that academy! They couldn't of gotten in unless he past those brats" exclaimed Juzo scrambling his two thoughts into one as he was slamming his fist at the wall.

Munakata stared at the figure as the screen was bigger now for everyone to see.

"What's that box that person placed on the table?" asked Chisa looking up at Munakata.

"Not sure...but whatever it is it isn't good" replies Munakata quietly. He then thinks quietly for a moment as he was more suspicious about the person; rather than the object they placed on the table.

'Someone who can somehow teleport? Is that even possible? No there's got to be some kind of explanation for all this...' thought Munakata as he looked down at the ground.

'Wait!' thought Munakata coming to a realization.

"Send the reinforcements to capture that person into custody...I got some questions for that intruder" replies Munakata a bit irritated.

"Yes sir!" replies the second female secretary.

"Also forget about what they placed on the table; as far as we all know; it could lead to everyone's lives in danger" replies Munakata as an after thought.

"I wonder who that person is" replies Chisa looking at the monitor screen blankly.

"They must got something to do with Enoshima's plans" replied Munakata seeing that the figure walked away from the room leaving a piece of paper on the table.

'Are you trying to lay a trap for my team? Why would you do that...just what exactly did that person place on the table before? ' thought Munakata suspiciously.

"So it isn't over yet" replies Tengan feeling reassured.

(Outside the Vault Entrance of Hope's Peak Academy)

(Despair Syndrome Plays)

Everyone gasps in horror at the unimaginable and horrific scene before them. No one spoke for at least an entire minute or two just standing looking at the wide abyss of destruction. From the trees on fire, to the cars all tarnished and especially the sky that turned pitch red from world global warming pollution.

"W-w-wwwwwhat?!" Hagakure first screams, desperately shaking his head.

"H-How is this p-p-possible?!" Fukawa panics as she fiddles with her hands anxiously.

"What the heck?!"Asahina shouts, eyes widening.

"This can't be true, I won't allow it..." Togami mumbles in frustration as clenches his hands in a fist.

Naegi and Kirigiri were dumbfounded remaining silent as all the others look around again at the ruins and were immediately plunged into deep despair. They could now recognize some police cars smashed into pieces nearby the rubble that used to be a parking lot.

The metal gate that caught most of everyone's eyes see that it is crookedly laying flat on the rubble pavement, that once lead them into the clean school entrance. Now, it is close to the remainders of a police car and other vehicles that scattered around the entrance; almost as if it was a barrier for war.

They begin to walk further down, towards the wrecked metal fence to get a better look at the smashed cars before them. There were some old bloodstains on the inside of one of the doors but there was no dead person present at the scene.

Kyouko crouches down to examine the scene closely while the others look at her in distress.

"Well... What happened to them?" Togami asks glumly.

"It appears that they've been pulled out of the vehicle," Kirigiri says, as she stands back up.

"By what?" Togami asks puzzled, pressing her further.

Kyouko Kirigiri looks at everyone with a frown.

"By a robotic machine," she states.

"So it's all true then!?" Hagakure cries out, sweat beading on his brow.

"Yes. Everything Junko said about the world is a post apocalyptic," says Kirigiri.

"T-t-t-this c-c-c-an't be!" shouts Fukawa.

"...Unfortunately it is. We have to keep moving," Togami says as he remarks it without a second thought.

As they left the school grounds, they looked down the street. To the left, street lamps were strewn over the cracked cement of the road, mixed with other debris such as broken branches from dead trees and shattered cars piled up in a small mountain of metal which was leaning against an apartment block. The building looked as though it had been through an earthquake from an extremely high magnitude.

To their right there was the same scenery – even more street lamps ripped out from the ground, now lying on the road. About twenty meters from the end of the road, only a couple of building still prevailed, mostly gone and fragile like a deck of cards. You could see more street lamps ripped out laying all across the cracked pavement road; it was almost endless from the mess.

"This is not happening," Asahina mumbles desperately to herself, her words muffled behind her hand as she covered her mouth trying to hold back the tears. It was in vain, however, and soon enough she starts to cry out of the sheer weight of despair that threatened to crush them.

"Why the heck did this have to happen?! Why?! Why?! WHY?!" the swimmer screams, now collapsing on her knees in the middle of the cracked road, tears streaming down her tan face.

Togami looks in disgust at the buildings with the hint of melancholy in his expression, Hagakure panics and holds his head with both of his hands, Fukawa screams as if she was about to turn into Genocider Jill, Kirigiri closes her eyes and folds her arms tightly over her chest.

Naegi looks at his friends and felt utter... despair. There was no other word for the crushing feeling on his heart.

'...How could it have ended like this... this hope that's between all of us right now must be brought to another conclusion. There has to be another way to fix things. But what exactly could fix a ruined world?'

He looks down at the ground and clenches his fists until the knuckles turn white. He was on the verge of falling into despair but he held back as he returns to his deep, positive thoughts.

'I bet were not the only survivors out there... It may take awhile to find them but I'm sure it won't be too difficult. I should probably pull myself together for everyone's sake. We can't break here'.

"Come on, we can't give up here," Naegi says, as looks at everyone trying to calm them down. Asahina, still crying, looks at Naegi, puzzled.

"How can we be calm Naegi? How can we all be calm when this world...is gone?!" Asahnia cries angrily and somewhat frustrated.

"Yeah man! The aliens are like totally taking over the planet!" Hagakure says in fear.

Asahina's eyes turn to Hagakure, flaming with rage.

"You idiot! There's no such thing as aliens!" she shouts irritated from the lack of his knowledge; almost feeling like he was mocking everyone.

"What are you talking about?! Of course they exist!" Hagakure shouts back almost irritated as her.

"A-a-aliens!? Such a s-stupid subject," Fukawa grumbles, angrily as she bites her thumb.

Naegi feels a bit of painful butterflies shoot through his stomach. He was so shocked to see the way Asahina's behavior was beginning to change. If anything, everyone was feeling troubled with what they were trying to adapt to. He couldn't let this go on any longer.

'Aliens... Science fiction... Wait a second!'

(Despair Syndrome Ends...) (Junk Food for a Dashing Youth Plays)

He then suddenly recalled something from what Monokuma told them. He said that the big machine in the physics lab was a time machine that could send someone back a minute in time, but only to reveal that it was simply an air purifier. Then the flashback came to an end as he develops a hypothesis.

'What if there actually was a time machine in the physics lab without any of us knowing? Even the mastermind wouldn't of known about it ... hopefully. It could have been possible - after all, this school used to have have the most skilled students across the world... Although the idea of a time machine is most likely impossible... Well it doesn't matter - I have to try!"

"I'm going back," Naegi proclaimed suddenly. Everyone stares at him, confused. Byakuya Togami was the first one to speak.

"What are you trying to imply? That you want to go back to the school?"

"Well-" Naegi starts to say.

"Of course that's it, you want to accept living in that school... Well it's too late now. Go ahead and waste your pitiful little life," Togami interrupts him irritated by his decision.

If you were stuck in a school for a very long time trapped, then start a mutual killing especially people you knew but forgot about and finally escape with your life wanting to go back a minute after you reached outside; it would only make sense to believe that it is inhuman. Even Naegi knew what he was saying was something that would probably negate his classmates from their previous opinions of him.

"You're wrong, I-"

"Talking to people like you wastes my energy... Anyways, goodbye" Togami cut him off once more very rudely, though his tone was icier than before. He then proceeds to start to walk away from everyone, heading right.

"W-w-w-wait for me!" cries Fukawa, as she chases after Togami down the road to catch up with him.

Asahina then looks at everyone, having her arms crossed and then sighs releasing them.

"I'm leaving too," she says, as she heads left towards the apartments and the piled up cars. When she turns left, she disappeared behind the rubble.

"Well if you guys need someone for fortune telling, you know who to find!" Hagakure smiles weakly before heading down the left and turns in the opposite direction of Asahina.

The only ones that were left were Naegi and Kirigiri. They remain silent for a few moments, still stationery in the middle of the road. Kirigiri crosses her arms and looks at Naegi seriously with some suspicion in her eyes.

"What would you achieve in going back there?" she asks. Naegi took a second before he replied. He knew that explaining his entire reason would probably make Kyoko puzzled and be concerned about his well being. As far as the situation goes; this moment in time would be unwise to go back somewhere you were imprisoned in and everyone who escaped knew that completely; yet Naegi felt an odd triumph in his heart. Almost as if his own spirit were trying to tell him to go back there and do something very important.

Naegi still looks at the rubble streets beyond him when he replies.

"I want to check around the school one more time to see if there are things we could have missed," he said, curling his fists.

"Don't you remember? Junko allowed us to see everything there was to the school," Kirigiri said, puzzled.

"I know, but don't detectives always like to double-check everything?" Naegi asks facing Kyoko's way now.

"That's true...but I believe we should try to look at our situation around us," Kirigiri says a little coldly by his thinking.

"I know it's a bad time but...I got this gut feeling that there's still something that we might have missed there" replied Naegi as he looks at the ground.

"..." Kyoko looks at Naegi in silence still confused and slightly irritated by his intentions.

"What do you expect to find there?" asked Kyoko after a few moments. Naegi lifts his head up and looks at her very seriously.

"Something that can give everyone good luck" replied Naegi.

"..." Kyoko then sighs lightly and looks at him more intensively then before to read his emotions. She wants to make sure that he hasn't somehow fallen into despair from everything he saw around him. His performance from before lead to everyone to believe he had lost hope and wasn't moving forward but there was something by his expressions that seemed determined and not feeling false about his resolve.

"Alright, will go back and check it out. If we don't find anything after 20 minutes; we will leave and keep moving forward to find the others" replied Kyoko.

"Yeah, of course!" replies Naegi slightly as he smiles.

"Alright then, let's go" Says Kirigiri as she closes her eyes as she walks past him.

(Junk Food for a Dashing Youth Ends...) (Beautiful Dead Plays)

Naegi and Kirigiri made their way back into the school's ruined grounds and headed to the open vault. Stepping inside, the air hung heavy with uninterrupted silence. The world was a ghost town. One would never believe that only a few weeks ago there were students here killing each other. Once the two entered into the hallway on the first floor of the school grounds, they paused for a moment to look at the gift shop.

"I remember coming in here every day when we were trapped here. I always kept hoping that I would find something useful to help us escape in the Monokuma Machine," Naegi admitted.

"I came in here a few times although I'm not really the type to play games," Kirigiri said dismissively.

"How come?" he asks curiously.

"So where exactly did you want to double check?" Kirigiri asks, briskly changing the subject.

'Did I say something wrong?'

"I wanted to check out the physics lab." Says Naegi.

"What is it that you think you might find there?" Asks Kirigiri, still trying to detect Naegi's true reasonable intentions for coming here.

"Something I think we might find useful."

Kirigiri was really puzzled as to what Naegi was getting at. She was about to question him further with this idea but decided to wait and see. In response, she simply nodded and they made their way to the third floor of the school.

Upon entering the physics lab, everything laid unchanged. The only difference now was that the air-purifying machine no longer made its characteristic buzzing sound.

'So Junko was also right about the air system turning off when we opened the vault... although I should have known when we saw the world of despair' thought Naegi.

Naegi looks intently at the air purifier, eyes full of curiosity and anticipation, wondering how opening the vault door could have caused this machine to shut down. Soon though, he lost interest, instead looking around the table in front of him, which was empty except for some long-untouched bowls and miscellaneous science equipment. Walking around the table, he saw a piece of paper pointing towards him.

'When the hell did that get there? I don't remember seeing this last time I was in here' thought Naegi.

Suddenly, as he moves closer to the table the toe of his shoe bangs into a connecting small object under him, he feels a slight crucial pain.

"Ow!" cries Naegi.

"What happened?" asks Kyoko as she makes her way closer over to him as she was previously examining the air purifier.

"Just stubbed my toe on something" replies Naegi with an embarrass smile look on his face.

At that moment, he heard a click.

'Huh?!' thought Naegi confused.

(Beautiful Dead Ends...) (DISTRUST Plays)

Following the click, something that was once hidden beneath the table opened up and a low buzzing sound was having something come out of the table. The hydraulic lifters silently deposited an object in front of him then receded to where they emerged. The object appeared to be quite similar from the escape switch that had allowed them to open the vault door.

The differences was that this device seemed a little wider, and within the glass case he could see a bright background of a fluorescent blue light.

'What the hell is this thing?' thought Naegi extremely puzzled as he stared at it in awe.

Kyoko looks at the object behind the very puzzled Naegi feeling yet a little curious as he carefully lifts the metal machine and glass case on top of it towards his face.

Within the light background of the blue fluorescent light were the imprinted digits that shined green, it read 09/13/2012 4:27 PM.

'This...is this...just my imagination' thought Naegi a little shocked. He wasn't completely sure if this machine was what he was believing it to be.

"Whoa...It appears to look like a clock" replies Naegi.

"May I hold onto it for a minute?" replies Kyoko.

"Sure" He hands over the 3 pound machine over to Kyoko.

For a moment she examined the entire area by turning it around in all angles closing her one eye to get a better perception. Although when she brought it back flat facing her she began to fiddle with it and upon touching an uneven part of a button near the bottom left-hand side of the square screen, a little metal slider opened up, revealing quite a few switches on the front side of the device.

Above the switches were written indications of what they did.

"..." Kyoko remained silent looking at it doubtfully. Naegi was curious as to what she just did a second ago but he was waiting patiently for her to examine it for a little bit longer.

She flicks the month slider switching it to August. Soon she got an idea what it may be but still she felt doubtful.

'How did Junko not know about this?' thought Kyoko unsure what to believe at the moment as she turns to look up at Naegi.

'Even more, how did Naegi get the feeling of coming back here?...' she stares at him suspiciously for a moment.

"How did you know to come back here?" asked Kyoko confused. Naegi looks a bit alarmed as he could tell that she would probably get suspicious from his intentions. Before Kyoko was believing that he wanted to come back here to grab something important that would remind him and everyone of Hope's Peak. Although once he mentioned about the Physics Lab; she didn't have a clue what he was thinking by then. As of now, she got a feeling that he has something bigger planned and she felt uneasy about it.

"Well, It was almost like a good intuition but more of a feeling that coming back here was the right thing to do..." replies Naegi truthfully.

"...Are you telling me the full truth, Naegi?" asks Kyoko still suspicious of him. Naegi was beginning to wonder if Kyoko had a bigger hunch on what the machine was then he realized. He knew he wanted to come back because he was feeling that a time machine would be something useful; however he didn't want to get his hope's up. Even if they didn't come across this device before him; he would of decided that it was fate and would move on in the outside world. Although little did Naegi and Kyoko knew that something foreboding was brewing in the air.

"I'm sorry..." replies Naegi. Kyoko looks at him a bit disappointed but decided to not jump to conclusions yet.

"I got this theory that there was possibly an actual time machine here" replies Naegi as he looks at her but partially looking away feeling ashamed.

"I know it sounds insane, especially from everything we all been through up until now but I know that if my theory was wrong; I would move on from this; believe me" replies Naegi raising his hands up as if to reassure his innocence.

"...Why didn't you just tell me that in the first place?" asks Kyoko lightly sighing.

"Because I believe no one would of believed me unless I found it" replies Naegi clenching his fist.

"..." Kyoko could understand where he was coming from, although she felt that he was distrusting her slightly; but supposedly she wouldn't of believed him if he tried to explain himself. Because in this moment of time, being here was the last place she wanted to be in. And knowing that she knew of this sooner she would of began to distrust him either way.

"You're right, I wouldn't of believed you" lightly smiles Kyoko realizing that his good luck was better than to be expected.

(Future Foundation Headquaters)

(Danganronpa 3: Dangan Break Music Plays...)

A few minutes earlier...

As the figure soon makes it to the second floor after a few minutes from their appearance. Naegi and Kyoko were seen to be coming back inside the building.

"Two of the surviving students are back at the main entrance vault heading inside" replies the first female secretary.

"Where are the reinforcement's exact location?" fired Munakata getting a bit furious himself.

"Some of the members have found the other survivors out on the streets while others are on standby" replied the second secretary.

"Send the others there immediately! Their lives are in danger!" replies Munakata pointing his finger at the secretaries.

'Why the hell did they go back inside? Did they fall into the remnants of despair too? Whatever...I'll question them too" thought Munakata trying to remain calm.

"Tch" muffles Juzo.

'Idiots, why would they go back in there after they just got out? They must of lost their sanity from that game' thought Juzo certain on his opinion.

They could now see the 5 future foundation members slightly kneeling in their formal tuxedo's with their heavy machine guns as they walk in the vault entrance.

As three different screens displayed in front of them, it showed Naegi and Kyoko making their way inside the physics lab, then showing the mysterious other figure who happen to almost encounter the two surviving students who return to the building was now almost at the door to the change rooms. Lastly the foundation members were making their way closer to the gift shop.

"The intruder has headed to the second floor and made their way to the change rooms near the swimming pool" replied the first secretary to the foundation members on their headsets.

(First Floor Old Main Building at Hope's Peak Academy)

"Understood" replies future foundation member #1.

They all then made a jog up the stairs to the second floor leading close to the change rooms. Until they heard HQ speak within their headset again.

"Two of your members are to head to the third floor to the physics lab to rescue the two other surviving students while three of you are to pursue the intruder" buzzes the secretary's voice from all their headsets.

"Okay I'll head to the third floor" replies future foundation member #3.

"As will I; we cannot allow them to be in any more danger as it is! After all Makoto defeated Junko!" cries future foundation member #5.

"Well get your asses moving! Less talking the better chance we got with this situation" replies future foundation member #2.

Future Foundation Members #3 and #5 nod their head as they embark for the stairs down the hallway disappearing in the distance once they ascend. As for the the other members #1, #2 and #4 reached the door to the change room. Although there was a Male and Female's change room before them and couldn't decide immediately which one the person went into.

"Alright one of us will stay out here; which the other two of us will go in separately from each door; who will stay out here?" asks future foundation member #1.

"I will stay here" replies future foundation member #4.

"Okay, I'll go into the Male's while you go into the Females" replies future foundation member #2.

"Alright, let's go!" barks future foundation member #1 as he looks straight at the male's change room door. They both instantaneous enter each change room confidently at the same time leaving the other one waiting in anxiously in anticipation outside.

(Third Floor Old Main School Building at Hope's Peak Academy)

Meanwhile...

A few moments past from the conversation Naegi and Kyoko had between their trusting issues about the reason they've came here. As of now, Kyoko passed the machine back to Makoto and was told that something can open up from the bottom left side of the machine indicating dial switches on the dates.

"These sliders on the machine can change the dates, it almost seems like a date reminder for something but...can this really be a time machine?" half asks Naegi uncertain about his theory from way before.

"You're implying that you now don't believe in your own luck?" questions Kyoko in the slightest witty tone.

"Well, you can't be too certain but..." he looks down at the machine with determination.

"You never know until you try!" replies Naegi, after a quick moment he suddenly frowns all of a sudden.

Kyoko notices this reaction from his face and looks at him a bit worried.

"What's the matter?" asks Kyoko crossing her arms. Naegi looks up and turns around to face her.

"I'm beginning to wonder how Junko didn't know about this? It's as if as maybe she wanted to test us to see if we would ever possibly find it but..." replies Naegi unsure about her motive behind this.

"It is a possible scenario... however it seems like she wouldn't do that" replies Kyoko.

"What do you mean?" asks Naegi confused.

"If Junko did know about this, she would do anything she could to dispose of it, in any case it was someone else who planted it there...possibly someone in this school who knew Junko's plans and did precautions so that she wouldn't be looking for it" replies Kyoko.

"Yeah that makes sense, Junko wanted to cause everyone despair; there's no way she would give us any hope" replies Naegi clenching his fist as he looks at his hand.

"I still find it hard to believe it myself that this really may be a time machine, however... I'm sure you know what you need to do," the detective replies, serious again.

"Wait, Kirigiri-san?! Are you saying that you only want me to travel back in time?" asks Naegi a bit surprised.

"Yes, and if it does send you back you have to make sure that you don't run into your other self." replies Kyoko narrowing her eyes at him. Naegi gasps lightly at the thought, since he heard about the grandfather paradox one time through a show he saw on a science channel.

"If I came, I would only be complicating things... Additionally, you have more of an advantage at a situation like this, since you are the Ultimate Lucky Student," Kirigiri said, smiling.

"R-right," Naegi nodded, slightly blushing. He glanced down at the remote and then looked back up at Kyoko Kirigiri.

"I'll do everything I can to prevent the tragedy...I'll make sure of it!" exclaims Naegi.

"...I hope you do" replies Kyoko.

"Hey, Kirigiri-san..." replies Naegi with a slight tone of concern.

"..." The air went silent for a sudden moment until Naegi looks up once more at Kyoko's face.

"I'll make sure that I save your father." replies Naegi with a serious determined look on his face.

(New World Order Music Plays)

Kirigiri's eyes widened in shock at his statement. She glanced the other way, thinking about what he had just said before looking back at him and giving him a small smile.

"...Thank you." replies Kyoko showing slight more emotion than her usual composure normal self. He's only seen her expressions a couple times but this side of her; he's never seen and it made him smile greatly.

"Here it goes" replies Naegi as he flicks the switches from the date and then finally the year portraying the date he was thinking about the most. (08/21/2010) He smiles thinking about it as a reminder for him to remember his lost memories; when suddenly in the distance they hear shouting.

"Makoto Naegi! Kyoko Kirigiri! This is future foundation, were coming in!" replies future foundation member #5. Naegi looks at the door a bit frightened but yet thankful. He knew they must be some type of organization to help from the disaster but he was beginning to have second doubts that he should go through with it.

"Naegi-kun, go!" slightly raised Kyoko's voice.

Naegi without a second thought deciding his full decision, he pushes the little orange button that was on the bottom right side of the machine. The machine began to make the two satellite connectors stick out to the left and right top corners of the box, the satellites were both facing directly from across each other; having a small wire with a circular oval tip in the middle of the dish.

Soon it worked up to make more and more electric static. Red lasers then shot out from the satellite connectors, making its way corresponding to the high technological motherboard; sticking out in the middle between the two.

Suddenly the door busts open and the two members see the teenage boy surrounded by a bright light.

"W-what the..." replies future foundation member #3 dumbstruck.

"Fuck?!" finishes future foundation member #5 of #3's sentence in an even more dumbstruck state than #3.

The lasers reach to the connectors and the connection made a huge magnetic reaction. Everything that was metal was beginning to move closer to where the object in Naegi's hands were and soon enough an electrical discharge began to circle around Naegi's body more significantly than a few seconds ago, now making a high-pitch sound.

Just before the electricity acted its part, he heard Kyoko Kirigiri's last few words very faintly as she was at least 4 meters away from him now.

"I'll be waiting for you..." Kirigiri says with a sad smile.

Then Makoto Naegi vanishes from the Earth's atmosphere of the ultimate post-apocalyptic world and into that of the world 2 years back, where despair did not yet reign.
