Hello fellow readers, it's been…two years since my last update. Things had become busy be it work or school and/or more most times. I could give a list of reasons as to why it took so long but I know that you're really just ready to get into this new chapter, so BEGIN!

Forest: Mirajane

"Die." That was the only word uttered from the takeover mage's mouth as she locked her cold dark blue eyes on the Godslayer, he stood then spat while glaring.

"Ok I'll admit it, that hurt like hell." He dusted himself off as he continued to speak. "You say die and yet I don't feel like I'm the one who's dying today, at least not by some demon bitch." Mirajane glared hard after hearing how he was speaking in regards to her, she entered a battle-ready stance.

"You talk very recklessly, I won't regret taking you down it seems." The Fire Godslayer sneered at this response from the demonic mage. After another moment of intense anticipation from both sides the yellow haired mage struck first.

Bursting forward at full speed, he headed straight for the demon that stood before him and unleashed a fierce round of blows, some missing while some were making contact. Feeling more confident now than before, he gave Mirajane a hard side kick to her lower left rib sending her sliding back against a large rock. Mirajane smirk as she gained an excited look, resetting her battle stance she spoke.

"Now, that's more like it! Let's see how well you can handle this!" Dashing forward in a zigzag motion the demonic take over mage unleashed hell on the Fire Godslayer. Things appeared to be one sided and in Mirajane's favor, then the yellow haired mage leaped back, setting a distance between them and began to smile maliciously. Seeing Zancrow's malicouse smile Mirajane paused as well. "What, you find this amusing or something?" Zancrow laughed aloud then responded to her.

"That form you're in has limitations doesn't it, you can't sustain this level of power for much longer can you?" The takeover mage flinched at his words with slightly startled eyes, he continued. "HaHaaaaa! I knew it! I Was right, I guess you know what that mea-" The yellow haired mage's speech was cut short by a fist to his gut, sending him flying back into a tree upside down, Mirajane only looked at him with an expressionless face and spoke.

"You miss understood my reaction. I was only surprised to see that you weren't a total idiot." This made the Godslayer furious as he fumed at the mouth in anger while standing back up.

"WHAT!?" He responded in rage, the Takeover mage sighed and explained.

"Why would you find that necessary to point out in the first place? Also, you don't understand how things work here at all." Zancrow continued to listen while still angered. "This island, Tenroujima, is a holy ground for the mages of Fairy Tail. That means, any mage barring the guild's signature mark benefits from the increase in power. As you said though, my power unfortunately does have a limit. When my power does run out it'll be game over for me, but we don't have to worry about that part though, because this battle won't last that long. If we were fighting anywhere else but here…maybe things would be different." The yellow haired mage was still fuming, then he decided to speak.

"Fine then, if that's how confident you are, I'm ending thing's right here and NOW!"

Mirajane watched as the yellow haired mage prepared what she believed was his finishing move.

'This will settle things once and for all! 100 percent my ass!' Inhaling, deeply, he released his attack.

Mirajane's Demonic blue aura burst to full life as she readied herself.

"So that's what we're doing then huh? Ok then, give me everything you got."

Forest: Wendy and Charle

Flying swiftly through the sky, Wendy and Charle happened upon an Unconscious Natsu and a worried Happy below them. Dropping down to the ground, Wendy rushed over to tend to the dragon slayer.

"How did this happen Happy?" The blue exceed gave the young girl and her feline companion a explanation on the events leading up to now. Once he finished explaining, Natsu had woken up thanks to Wendy's healing magic.

"Thanks Wendy, I owe you one. Now I can get back in the fight." The young blue haired mage and the two exceeds nodded in agreement.

"You're off to find Mira?" Wendy asked the pink haired mage as he and Happy were preparing to take flight. He looked back and smiled nodding his head.

"Heh, did you even have to ask that?" Happy laughed at the dragon slayer's answer as he lifted him into the air. While soaring through the sky, Natsu thought to himself as he became serious. 'It's about time we end this!'

Forest: Mirajane

"Fire God's Explosive Flame!" Zancrow fired an incredibly large amount of God slayer Fire energy at the takeover mage. Mirajane stood completely still as she watched the massive explosive flame, which was approaching her and getting closer and closer, only to smirk. She allowed the blast to get a few more inches closer, then it was her turn.

"An attack on this scale would never do, you're in a lot of trouble." Placing both hands in front of her, she concentrated her energy. "Soul Extinction!" A wave of energy just as large as Zancrow's fired from Mirajane's demonic hand and clashed with his, this pushed the yellow haired mage over the edge for sure.

"Rrrgh! What is with you fairy tale bastards!? You shouldn't rival my strength, I am a God slayer!" He had snapped out of pure anger and frustration, Mirajane gritted her teeth as she snapped aswell.

"Don't you get it, none of that matters! Fairy Tail is a family, and when you harm one of us, you harmed us all!" She yelled this as he flinched for a second but then sneered as she continued. "I don't expect you to understand this, your guild was never a true guild to begin with." Zancrow fired back a heated response.

"You're not a mage, you're a monster!" The yellow haired mage shouted as the blast was gradually coming back his way, the Takeover mage closed her eyes for a second then opened them with a slight down casted neutral look.

"No…I'm a Demon." With a bit more energy Mirajane forced the blast back to Zancrow, he was consumed in the blast and took every bit of the impact.

'I lost to her!?' "ARRRGHHHH!" His body fell to the ground, the takeover mage walked over to him and kneeled. She placed two fingers on his neck, he was still alive but knocked out, she sighed as she powered down.

'Ok, I didn't kill him, but it was close…' Mirajane thought this just before she passed out from exhaustion. Tenroujima's influence enabled her to maintain her transformation for far longer than usual, however using 100 percent of her power for so long can wear anyone out.

Forest: Natsu and Happy

Natsu and his feline companion flew through the sky scanning the area for Mirajane. Suddenly the dragon slayer snapped his focus to the right as he heard an explosion, he knew it had to be her.

"Happy! -" Knowing what the pink haired mage was going to ask the blue exceed increased flight speed and shifted their direction to where the blast came from. "Aye Sir!" was his response to the dragon slayer. As they flew they began to see the destroyed forest area, they landed. On the ground lying in front of them was Mirajane and Zancrow, both unconscious.

"Mira!" Natsu rushed to her side as he shook her awake. She opened her eyes and smiled as she and him hugged each other, then shared a quick kiss. "What happened?" He waited as his exhausted girlfriend sighed and leaned into him.

"I thought you was seriously hurt… my gem was flashing." She looked down as she grabbed hold of Natsu's gem in a firm grip. "Then this guy, he shows up and says he burned you down and…" Natsu cupped his hands together around her hand that was gripping his gem.

"Ok Mira, I understand now." He looked her in the eyes. "I'm sorry for making you worry and fight like this, I was reckless." Mirajane was about to speak but then waited as he continued. "I ate his flames when he fired them at me but, they weren't normal flames. Long story short I was unconscious for a while until Wendy and Charle appeared. Wendy healed me up then me and Happy sat off to find you, never thought that guy would run into you though, that's just bad luck." Mirajane sighed a breath of relief after hearing how the events unfolded, she tried to stand up but stumbled slightly, her boyfriend chuckled a bit as he got up with her and helped her.

"Well, that makes me feel better now, I'll have to thank Wendy later." Natsu nodded as he and Happy saw that she was still very tired, the dragon slayer kneeled with his back in front of her.

"Hop on, I'll carry you." Complying with Natsu, Mirajane latched on to his back, he stood and started walking while Happy followed them along. The white-haired mage rested her head onto his right shoulder.

"Thank you Natsu." She said this as she closed her eyes, the pink haired mage smiled.

"You don't have to tell me that, it's my job." He chuckled at saying that, Mirajane smiled at this.

"Where are we going?" She felt the fire mage pace pick up after asking this.

"We're going to find you some water first, then find gramps. So, rest up for now until we find water, there should be a creek not too far from here with a waterfall." Natsu could feel her nod her head.

"Ok." Mirajane fell into a light nap.

Forest: Gray

Gray hid as he was about to watch Ultear face off against the legendary Zeref, he felt uneasy.

'This is crazy! Why would anyone PURPOSELY mess with Zeref!?' Just as the ice mage finished this thought, Zeref spoke to Ultear.

"I didn't want to do this… I can't control my power still…" The female Grimoire Hearts member developed a bit of sweat by this, Zeref continued as he formed an orb of dark energy in his right hand. "See this orb of raw energy lady? If this so much as graze you…your life is forfeited." Hearing this from Zeref startled Ultear, more so by confirming her fears of his strength. The black-haired mage in front of her fired the sphere of darkness right at her just as she managed to dodge in time. The ball of energy hit the wall behind her and left a clear open hole in it. Eyes widening from pure disbelief as she starred at it, Ultear then turned her attention back to him.

'Ok, he's the real deal… if I slip up…NO! I have to capture him for master Hades!' Performing a new stance, she performed her counter strike just as the black-haired mage fired another sphere of darkness at her. "Lost Magic Toki no Arc: Lost Magic Arc of Time." The massive rock behind her shattered into chunks and flew forward, intercepting the blast as she guarded herself. She was forced back and fell to the ground, panting heavily she looked up to him once more, he was frowning.

"So I see you've deviled into my magic, you'll regret that." The dark mage prepared yet another sphere of darkness, Ultear took this opportunity to manipulate the nature of time to capture him in a tree. Her plan caught him off guard as he became more angered but then suddenly cringed as he clutched his head. "No! Arrhhhgg!" a wave of pure black energy rose from around him and continued to spread out as it erased the life from everything in its path. Thinking fast, Ultear used her own absorption time sphere to draw in all the dark energy. As it subsided, her orb fell apart and had become a tainted dark color. She used her magic to repair it then wasted no time as she launched the sphere high in the air over him.

"Luminous Minutes!" The single orb became dozens as they all pinned Zeref, effectively bringing him down. "I-I did…I did it! I caught Lord Zeref!" Zeref could only look up at her as he was becoming weakened.

"Stop, y-you don't know what you're about to do!"

Ultear walk over to him as he was entering a slumber and kneeled to lift him over her shoulder she stood and started walking into the forest.

"Of course I do, Lord Zeref…please forgive me." She continued in silence, not knowing she was being tailed. Gray, who had maintained his silent state during the entire battle followed her quietly into the woods.

'There's something I gotta Know.' He remained silent.

Forest: Erza

'Be safe Juvia, I believe in you.' Erza was currently racing through the forest to find master Makarov, she had left the battle to Juvia. To say the least, the turn of events was irritating her. The thought of an enemy invasion on the sacred land of the guild during a sacred time irked her nerves, she will make them pay. As she ran, she sensed a presence nearby and decided to investigate. Moving in the direction she sensed the presence, she came to a rocky clearing and stood still as she scanned the vicinity. She concentrated a bit, then a moment later her eyes widened as she was slammed to the ground with unbelievable force.

"W-What the h-hell!?" The scarlet haired woman cursed as she struggled to stand but to no avail. She heard footsteps walking out from behind some shrubs and locked eyes with her attacker.

"It's no use in moving." He walked up to her casually while still maintaining his magic spell and paused for a second, then he asked. "Can you fly?"

Forest: Natsu and Mirajane

"How is it, does it taste bitter or anything?" Natsu was kneeling next to Mirajane as she was drinking water from the creek, she raised her head and replied to him.

"No, it's fine. I wonder though, how long has it been since he was here…" She took some more sips of water as she waited for her boyfriend's response.

"You mean Zeref? I don't know either, it's hard to tell. When his magic gets crazy it'll make anything look like it was dead for years after its hit by it." Natsu's response made his girlfriend a little uneasy.

Mirajane stopped drinking for a moment and just stared at her and Natsu's reflection's in the passing water, then she spoke to him. "Natsu…can we…are we even able to win a battle like this?" Natsu laughed for a second until he saw she was serious.

"I'm sorry, but why are you worried Mira? Besides what happened earlier we're pushing the enemy back." The takeover mage continued to stare at the mirror image as she responded.

"Not this but…Zeref…Tanaka…just those two are enough as it is…then this…why?" Natsu sighed as he moved behind her and wrapped his arms around the front of her, he moved his mouth to her right ear as he spoke seriously but calmly.

"I know it looks like I'm not worried about any of this but, I feel your fear too…I don't know why we had to be the ones to deal with it, but even so…I plan to face it head on just like we've always done. So, lets continue to get stronger together, ok?" Nodding her head, the white-haired mage tapped his folded arms around her abdomen to let go.

"Thank you Natsu, you always make me feel better when I'm feeling uneasy." She started sipping a little more water as Natsu rubbed her back gently.

"You're welcome, can't have you being all depressed on me." They stayed there for a little while longer then set out to find master Makarov.

Not as long as my previous chapters am dim sure there's some errors for me to correct and I'll work those out over time, but for now it's a start. My plan now is to try to release a chapter once a week for now as my work schedule changes a lot. Please comment, like, and favorite if you enjoyed this chapter! Till next time!
