Summary: Natsu doesn't let the phrase when pigs fly stop him from getting what he wants….

YouTube Prompt: A tribute to Fairy Tail and their refusal to give in during the tough times to Snow Patrol's stunning new single "Don't Give In".
"No means no, Natsu!" Lucy barked. "How many times do I have to say it?!"
"But Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucy!" Natsu whined childishly. "Your bed is the comfiest and the warmest and the nice smelling bed of all of Fiore! Probably the whole world! I don't want to sleep anywhere else!"
"I don't care!" Lucy crossed her arms. "There are boundaries, Natsu. My bed is mine, and yours is in your house," she said firmly, "now go home and let me sleep in peace!"
It was a typical evening on Strawberry Street which, unfortunately, meant that Lucy had just spent the last hour trying to make Natsu go home so she could get ready for bed. As usual Natsu was putting up a fight against leaving. If he didn't relent soon Lucy was either going to snap and kick him out of her window or just give out of sheer exhaustion.
It was not going to be the latter!
Not this time!
Lucy was determined to have a night to herself without fearing being punched or burnt alive in her sleep!
"Pretty please!" Natsu pouted pathetically, "I promise not to singe your sheets this time!"
He then gave her the biggest, sweetest, puppy dog eyes Lucy had ever seen. Wendy could not look more adorable than this! Lucy gulped and tried to stay strong for the sake of her new bedsheets and privacy.
"I tell you what," she said sweetly, "you can sleep in my bed-"
"YES!"
"-When pigs fly!" Lucy finished cruelly.
Unfortunately this did nothing whatsoever to dampen Natsu's mood as his blinding grin rapidly turned into a smirk. "Heh," he snickered, "I was hoping you would say that!"
"Wait," Lucy blinked, "what?!"
"Turn around."
Lucy did so and was instantly confronted by the horrifyingly hilarious sight of Happy dressed in a bright pink pig onesie with a matching plastic snout strapped round his face.
"Oink, oink!" Happy cried out gleefully. "I'm a piggy!"
Lucy had to bite the inside of her cheek to stop herself from laughing hysterically at the sight. Something (like all the previous crying jags Happy had in the last couple years) told her that her laughter would not be appreciated at this point.
"A real flying pig, Natsu!" Lucy said exasperated. "Not Happy in a costume!"
Suddenly Natsu straightened up as his smug, childish, glee vanished in favour of his serious, battle-ready, determination that he usually wore when something grave and dangerous was about to happen. Lucy swallowed nervously as Natsu's green eyes bore right into her soul with uncharacteristic, terrifying, seriousness.
"Luce, I found a flying, talking, cat just by walking through the woods one day," Natsu said calmly, " Do you really think I won't find a flying pig if I really wanted to?"
"….goddamnit!" Lucy snapped as her resolve did the same. "Fine!" she threw her arms up in a surrendering gesture. "You can stay here tonight!"
"Yosh!" Natsu pumped a fist in the air. "Pyjama Party at Lucy's!"
"Yay!" Happy cheered. "I'll get the fish!"
Lucy hastily made her way to the bathroom so she could bash her head repeatedly against the wall in peace.
She was such a sucker!
"Ne, ne, Natsu," Happy piped up as soon as Lucy left, "how come I had to wear this stupid costume? I thought you were going to get Lisanna to turn into a pig."
"I was," Natsu shrugged, "but Lisanna said she was too busy doing something for Juvia. So I went with Plan B instead."
(Meanwhile across town, Juvia squealed in delight as she flung her arms around Gray. "Look! Look! Gray-sama!" she shrieked happily. "A flying pig! Now you must take Juvia out on a date!"
Gray stared up at the flying pig too gobsmacked to notice the strange resemblance it might have to one, Lisanna Strauss.)
