THE LIBRARY

"You're in here awfully lot lately Eren."

"Shhh."

Eren pokes his head from behind a bookshelf, staring in a particular direction.

"You know you could just ask him out." Mikasa scoffs and continues reading. Pointedly ignoring a certain stalker.

"Yeah but what if he doesn't like me." Eren shifts back in and decides to actually try reading one of those horrid.. boring things. Just as a label catches his eye... "Oh hey, you like that book too?" A chirpy voice called out that gave Eren shivers.

"Err yeah I was just thinking about reading it." Eren shuffled his feet, face blushing red as Armin pushes past his shoulders, square rimmed glasses in tow.

"That was my first book, y'know?" Armin all but says it as he takes out the book, shifting the stack of books to his left arm. Mildly flipping over it with his right hand. "This book talks about the blue sea.." just like his eyes ",the beach and everything about it.. It's just magical, I've always wanted to go to the sea."

Eren coughs at his chance to converse with his crush/obsession. "Well, why don't you?" Armin gives the book a slightly downcast expression, still in nostalgia, he gives a small smile, "Never got the chance. And besides, I want to go with my lover, y'know like," Armin pauses lightly as reality downs upon him.

He widens his eyes and looks to Eren in panic "oh my I'm so sorry err here, erm, have a nice day!" Armin strives to get out as his cheeks burn red.

"Whoa hey slow down there it's alright I mean," Eren pauses, still holding Armin's arm to keep him from getting away, "I understand that and, I want to try that too.." Eren whispers, grinning cheekily.

Armins eyes gave a twinkle that Eren oh so desperately wants to see again.

"Really?" Armin started chattering on and on about the sea, momentarily forgetting his library duties whilst Eren can only imagine how the sea would probably only remind him of Armin's eyes..

Mikasa scoffs, 'Idiots.'.
