So, this chapter has been sitting on my laptop forever...
About time I finished it and posted it, right?

I know it's short, and that there isn't a lot that happens...
But now it's out here...

Oliver hurried along on his crutches. He was skilled with them by now, even with his knee being as uncomfortable as it was. He smirked as he realized his right knee didn't bother him every time he stepped down on his left foot anymore. That made moving around a lot easier!

As he reached their front door his phone started beeping. He pulled it out of his pocket and stared at the screen. Jonas Hart.

He positioned his crutches under one arm and put the phone to his ear. "Hello, Jonas is it you?"

"Yeah, Hey Oliver. It's me…"

"Anything wrong?"

"No, just wondered how you were doing," Jonas said and paused, used a few seconds to figure out what to say next "it's been a while since you called… I started to worry…"

"I'm actually doing quite well, my knee doesn't hurt as much as it usually does. I can walk with my crutches without grimacing anymore!"

"That sounds good!" Oliver could hear that Jonas smiled, "Oliver, would you have time to stop by my office sometime this week? Isn't it almost three months since your last MRI scan?"

"Yeah something like that…" Oliver answered with a slightly nervous voice, "why do you think about this all of the sudden…?"

"No other reason than that I would like to see if there has been any progress in the healing of the soft tissue injuries…"

"Okay, so… Is it okay if I stop by Wednesday? Around 2 p.m.?"

"Perfect!"

WEDNESDAY 3.15 p.m.

Jonas Hart stared at the screen. Oliver was done with the scan, and Jonas was going through the pictures already.

"Now, how does it look Doc?" Oliver said as he leaned back on the exam table.

"Well, it looks like you will be able to walk again… That's the good news…"

"I feel a but coming…" Oliver said with a low growl.

"But I doubt you will be able to do your, let's call them 'extracurricular activities', in the future…"

Jonas's statement came as a blow to the gut for Oliver. What would he be if he wasn't the Arrow? Who would he become? A million thoughts rushed through his mind as the years to come unfolded in his mind. Worries that he shouldn't have yet crept up on him and captured his mind.

Jonas saw Oliver's reaction and turned around in his chair. Facing Oliver head on.

"Look, I'm not saying that it will be completely impossible… But I have my doubts that you will succeed… And if you were any regular Joe, I would have said that you would probably never walk regularly again…" he sighed, "But I've seen the scars you carry, and I've seen the old fractures you have, some of them still haven't healed as they should… I know that you are able to do things most of us wouldn't be able to push through without your previous injuries… Taking that in to considering… I guess I wouldn't be all that surprised if you managed to push through on this subject to…"

Oliver looked back up on Jonas, "Thanks, doc!"

"No problem… Go prove me wrong about that hobby of yours!" Jonas smiled, "Just let it heal first, okay?"

Oliver smiled, there was no way he wished to walk or anything before this thing was properly healed. But he also couldn't wait for that to happen.

"Okay, will do!" Oliver said as he got up and placed his crutches back under his arms. "Bye!"

"Yeah, see you later!"

Sorry it took so long...
Hope you enjoyed it anyway...
