"Tell me something about you."

"I broke a mirror three years ago."

Kyle raised his eyebrow and looked over at Cartman. They were on top of Cartman's roof, and were staring at the moon and the stars. Cartman said it was a nice night, and he was right, it was. But enjoying the stars had turned into some weird soul-searching shit conversation.

"I've never been a lucky person. I mean, look at me." The large boy gestured to his body.

"That's your own damn fault." Kyle retorted, crossing his arms. He didn't remember why he wanted to be here with the fat-ass, but he didn't exactly want to leave.

He looked at the brunette with reserved interest. Cartman could be an attractive boy. He would just need to drop the weight and the horrible attitude.

"Anyway, I've never been lucky. I have a crack whore mother, and I mean that with all the love in the world, I killed my own father, well, not really, but you know what I mean. I've hurt a lot of people. And nothing works out. Nothing. Everyone hates me."

"Well...I don't."

"Yeah, you do, Kahl. I saved your life, and you still would. not. suck. my. balls. Even if you signed a contract."

"That's not luck, nor is it hate, that's just me not wanting to be gay." Kyle huffed.

"Is it?" When Cartman turned around, the stars caught in his eyes, and they sparkled so big and bright and beautiful. Kyle looked at the large boy skeptically and turned his head back towards the moon.

"I'm not lucky. I think I do something right, and it comes crashing down. It's not right, ya know?"

Kyle grunted. Nothing worked out for Cartman, he was right about that.

"I broke a mirror when I was six."

"What?"

Kyle cleared his throat and spoke again. "I broke a mirror when I was six. My mom told me it'd give me bad luck, but I didn't believe her. And life works out for me. Maybe that's what it is. If you believe it- it happens. If you don't...ehh." He shrugged his shoulders and looked at Cartman.

"So you're saying, if I don't believe in bad luck, it doesn't exist?"

"That's right."

He wasn't sure how it happened exactly, but it happened quickly. Cartman kissed him, gently, and swiftly. And just like that, it was over. Cartman broke away, a string of spit coming from both of their mouths. Both blushed and looked towards the moon again, ignoring what just happened. And then, slowly, Kyle's hand moved slowly towards the larger boy's. And they stayed just like that until Kyle's body started to slump from exhaustion and Cartman carried him down into his room and shut off the light.
