He really did bring this upon himself. Barry shouldn't joke around like that when the consequences were what they were.

They were about to sit down to dinner. An innocent get together they'd planned ages ago. Between Green Lantern duties, and saving Central City from a rogue or two, it was hard for two superhero boyfriends to find time for each other.

"Babe, where's the garlic salt?" Hal shuffled around the kitchen.

"Top shelf.

"It's not up there. I checked."

Barry sighed, and opened the cabinet again. "It's right here." Barry reached to the highest shelf, and if Hal was staring at Barry's rear, well that was normal. But this time, something else caught his eye. As Barry's shirt slipped up his waist, it revealed a sliver of green just above the hips of his jeans.

Hal used one finger to lift Barry's shirt and his suspicions were confirmed. His jaw dropped. It was a tattoo of a green lantern symbol, and it was good as an open invitation. A beacon for naughty things.

"You got a tattoo? I did not see that coming!" Hal teased.

Barry gasped, and dropped the spices. He spun around and swatted Hal's hand away.

"I-! You-!" Barry's face was almost as red as his Flash uniform. "-You weren't supposed to see that..."

Hal smirked devilishly. "Well, the cat's out of the bag now." He pressed Barry into the counter. "Let me see it again."

He sighed when Hal wouldn't let him move away, then hesitantly turned back to the counter. "Don't make fun of me, okay?"

Hal smiled bemusedly and lifted the tail of his shirt again. "It's a tramp stamp! Jeez, Bear, is this why you don't like the lights on when I top?"

Barry's head hung low between his shoulders. "It's embarrassing."

"It's not embarrassing. My boyfriend has my emblem tattooed on his back." Hal growled into Barry's ear, "It's fucking sexy."

Later, as Hal was thrusting into him, Barry thought, maybe this wasn't a bad idea. Hal didn't know that the tattoo was only airbrushed, but it was definitely worth it if he got one good roll in the hay for it.

Then again, if he knew Hal would so readily approve, he probably would get the real deal next time.
