Neko was a ordinary wolf. She was abandoned as a pup and found by a little girl.
Raised to be like any other dog, Her world was going to get strange, fast.
"Wanna go play girl?" Jenny asked Neko, the grey wolf wagging her tail.
The two went to play in the yard. Fetch, tricks, petting, and reading stories.
Neko and Jenny's bond was unbreakable.
"Jenny, Time for school!" Jenny's mother called.
"Bye Neko!" Jenny said running to catch the bus.
Neko barked back happily. She was eager to see her owner again.
"Nice girl isn't she?" A voice sounded.
Neko turned to see a white cat with a flowing mane around her neck and puff on her tail. She was decorated
with weird markings unknown to the wolf. Neko flipped down her ears and growled. She hated cats
she didn't know. The cat lifted a front paw ready to flee if needed. Neko looked this cat up and down.
She had no collar, she was a stray. She had a clover in her mane though, and was bigger than a normal domestic cat.
"Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to scare you."
"What are you doing here cat!"
"Only trying to get help."
"Help?" Neko said, ears perking back up a bit.
"Neko, right? Well I'm Lyoko. I'm a Lion from the Woods of Havorn."
"Havorn?" Neko repeated in question. "What do you need from me?"
"Neko, you are the last wolf in existence." Lyoko said.
Neko's ears dropped. Her, the last? Are they all gone!?
"How can that be?!" Neko cried.
"We have only one other wolf, and that is Thorn."
Lyoko explained why she needed to come more, having Neko hesitantly agree.
"But how do we get over the fence?" Neko asked, looking at the towering boards surrounding them.
"Easy. Like this." Lyoko said, jumping over one with a run.
"Your turn!" She called back.
Neko whimpered, but then burst into a run. She ran as fast as she could, and closed her eyes and jumped.
