NXT Takeover: Anarchy August 12th 2015 Full Sail University
It had been over 3 months since the last Takeover Special when Samoa Joe made his NXT debut confronting the NXT Champion Kevin Owens in the closing moments of Takeover.
The week following at Elimination Chamber, Kevin Owens was defeated by United States Champion John Cena when Samoa Joe distracted Owens from the crowd long enough for Cena to hit Owens with the AA to pick up the victory.
NXT General Manager William Regal soon afterwards made Samoa Joe vs. Kevin Owens on August 12th for the NXT Championship.
The camera cuts to NXT Interviewer Devin Taylor.
Devin-"Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome my guest at this time, he is the NXT Champion Kevin Owens."
Kevin walks up to the interview area.
Devin-"Now, Kevin tonight….
Kevin-"Hold on, I know what you're about to ask me, how does it feel facing Samoa Joe and how I'm feeling, well Devin it's been 11 years in the making, me and Samoa Joe had our 1st match together on July, 2nd 2004 but things are very much different now than then, I'm a more dangerous man and Samoa Joe isn't taking this NXT Title away from me or my family, I went through Sami Zayn, I went through Finn Balor and tonight I'm going through Samoa Joe."
Kevin walks off the interview area.
The camera cuts to Samoa Joe walking.
Corey-"Here's comes "The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe looking to capture his 1st NXT Championship here tonight at NXT Takeover: Anarchy."
The camera cuts back to the arena and the NXT Champion Kevin Owens walks through the curtain.
Rich-"On December 11 2014, Kevin Owens made his NXT debut, decimating CJ Parker and two months later on February 11th, Kevin Owens won the NXT Championship via K.O from Sami Zayn and has been champion for 182 days, 6 months and 1 day."
Bryon-"And think of the names Kevin Owens has defeated here in NXT, Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville, Finn Balor, Alex Riley and laid out John Cena on his Raw debut, Kevin Owens is a beast."
Out on the entrance area comes out tribal Samoan dancers and then Samoa Joe enters out through the stage.
Corey-"Samoa Joe coming out with the tribal Samoan dancers and Samoa Joe is ready for war against Kevin Owens in the main event of NXT Takeover: Anarchy for the NXT Championship."
JoJo-"The following contest is your main event of the evening and it is for the NXT Championship!"
JoJo-"Introducing first the challenger from the Isle of Samoa weighing in at 285 pounds, he is the Samoan Submission Machine, Samoa Joe!"
Crowd-'Joe! Joe! Joe!"
JoJo-"And his opponent from Montreal, Quebec Canada, weighing in at 266 pounds he is the current NXT Champion Kevin Owens!"
Owens raises the NXT Championship in the air and Joe then bone rushes Owens into the corner and begins to rapidly ram his shoulder into Owens' gut.
Rich-"Samoa Joe not waiting for Owens to hand the title over! He wants Owens now!"
Joe grabs Owens and irish whips him into the corner.
Joe charges but Owens catches Joe and hits the Pop-up Powerbomb.
Corey-"Pop-up Powerbomb! Owens hits it very early into the match!"
As Owens is about to go for the pin, Joe rolls out of the ring.
Bryon-"Smart strategy by Joe, rolling out of the ring before Owens can make a pinfall on him.
As Joe gets to his feet, Owens is about to bounce off the ropes but Joe grabs Owens' feet and drags him to the outside.
Joe then levels Kevin with a big clothesline.
Rich-"What a clothesline from Samoa Joe!"
Joe grabs Owens and slams him head first off the steel guard rail.
Joe then places Kevin's head in the guard rail.
Corey-"What evil plans does Samoa Joe have in store for Kevin Owens?"
Joe then charges and goes for a boot but Owens moves and Joe's leg gets hung up on the guard rail.
Owens then delivers a kick right into Samoa Joe's hamstring.
Kevin grabs Joe and irish whips him and Joe goes knee first into the steel steps.
Rich-"Samoa Joe's knee crashing right into those steel steps."
Owens then charges and hits a chop block right to the leg of Joe.
Kevin grabs Joe and tosses him back into the ring and Kevin goes to the top rope.
Kevin leaps and hits a senton bomb right onto the leg of Joe.
Corey-"All of Kevin Owens' 266 pounds of body weight just crushing the leg of Samoa Joe."
Crowd-"Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!"
Kevin makes the pin on Joe.
1..2..kickout!
Kevin then places Joe into the corner and holds his leg up.
Kevin then backs into the other corner.
Rich-"We've seen Kevin Owens did this before to Finn Balor's leg."
As Owens charges, Joe gets up for the corner and catches Owens in a big power slam.
Byron-"Powerslam from Joe!"
Joe went for the pin.
1..2..kickout!
Joe grabs Owens and sets him on the top turnbuckle.
Joe then sets up for the Muscle Buster but Owens blocks it and hooks Joe's head and hits a Tornado DDT from out of the corner.
Corey-"Tornado DDT from Owens!"
Kevin went for the pin.
1..2..kickout!
Owens grabs Joe and irish whips him into the corner.
Owens charges but Joe catches Owens and slams him straight into the mat.
Kevin then rolls out of the ring.
As Kevin gets to his feet, Joe charges and hits a suicide dive through the ropes and into Owens.
Rich-"Suicide Dive from Samoa Joe! Joe putting everything on the line to become NXT Champion here tonight!"
Joe then grabs Kevin and slams his head off the steel steps and Owens slumps down to the floor.
As Joe grabbed Owens, Kevin pulls Joe and Joe goes head first into the point of the steel steps.
Corey-"Whoa! Samoa Joe was just driven head first right into the point of the steel steps!"
Samoa Joe is then bleeding.
Rich-"And now Samoa Joe has been cut due to the point of those steel steps slicing Joe wide open!"
Kevin then goes to the guard rail staring at the bloody Samoa Joe.
Bryon-"And now Kevin Owens smells blood!"
With Joe slumped down at the ring steps, Owens charges and hits a cannonball right into Joe and the steel steps.
Corey-"Whoa! Kevin Owens hitting a cannonball right onto Joe and the steel steps!"
Crowd-"Fight Owens Fight! Fight Owens Fight! Fight Owens Fight!"
Kevin grabs Joe and tosses him into the ring and Kevin goes for the pin.
1..2..kickout!
Rich-"And somehow Samoa Joe kicks out."
Corey-"I'm thinking Samoa Joe should just fight another day, we all saw what Kevin Owens did to Sami Zayn to win the NXT Championship back at Takeover: Rival, imagine what he'll do to Samoa Joe here at Anarchy."
Kevin then grabs Joe and hits a pumphandle neckbreaker.
Bryon-"Oh! The pumphandle neckbreaker!"
Kevin makes the pin.
1..2..kickout!
Rich-"And now Owens is growing frustrated that he can't put away Samoa Joe and retain the NXT Championship!"
Kevin grabs Joe and irish whips him off the ropes and hits the pop-up powerbomb.
Corey-"Pop-up Powerbomb! This has got to be over!"
Owens makes the pin.
1..2..kickout!
Rich-"What?! Samoa Joe kicked out of the pop-up powerbomb?!"
Crowd-"Joe's Gonna Kill You! Joe's Gonna Kill You! Joe's Gonna Kill You!"
Kevin then delivers a slap across Samoa Joe's face.
Bryon-"Now the blatant disrespect shown by the NXT Champion Kevin Owens."
Owens then delivers a second slap to Joe and Joe begins to rise to his feet.
Owens gives one more slap and then Samoa Joe unleashes a fury of slaps to the NXT Champion.
Rich-"Samoa Joe taking the fight to Kevin Owens!"
Joe irish whip Owens off the ropes and hits a jumping kick to the face of Owens.
Joe then bounces off the ropes and hits a Jumping Senton onto Owens.
Joe goes for the pin.
1..2..kickout!
Corey-"What a fight here at Takeover for the NXT Championship."
Crowd-"This is Awesome! This is Awesome! This is Awesome!"
Joe then grabs Owens and irish whip him but Owens reverses and sends Joe off the ropes.
Owens sends Joe in the air for the pop-up powerbomb but Joe is able to hits a hurricarana onto Owens.
Bryon-"What?! Did Samoa Joe just do a hurricarana to Kevin Owens?!"
As Owens gets to his feet, Joe locks in the Coquina Clutch onto Owens.
Rich-"Coquina Clutch! Samoa Joe is one tap-out away from becoming the new NXT Champion."
Owens then backs Joe into the referee.
Corey-"And now the referee has been knocked down!"
Owens then delivers a low blow to Joe.
Owens then grabs Joe and tosses him to the outside.
Kevin then grabs Joe and hoists him up and powerbombs him right onto the ring apron.
Corey-"Powerbomb right onto the ring apron! That move took out the likes of Adrian Neville, Alex Riley, Sami Zayn and now it might've done the job for Samoa Joe."
Kevin grabs Joe and tosses him into the ring.
Kevin grabs Joe and irish whips him off the ropes and goes for the pop up powerbomb but Joe catches Owens with a running boat to the face.
Joe then grabs Owens and sets him up on the top turnbuckle.
Joe sets up Owens and hits the Muscle Buster.
Rich-"Muscle Buster! Samoa Joe hits it! We may have a new champion!"
Joe goes for the pin and the referee slowly makes the count.
1…2…3!
Corey-"Samoa Joe is NXT Champion!"
JoJo-"Here is your winner and the NEW NXT Champion "The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe!"
Samoa Joe raises the NXT Championship in the air.
Rich-"Samoa Joe has become the NEW NXT Champion! The era of Samoa Joe begins tonight on August 12th 2015 at NXT Takeover: Anarchy!"
A/N-I'm back! Sorry for the long wait here on Dream Matches, I was busy with other stories but now your boy is back and what a better way to come back than to do a dream NXT match between Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens! Wow! So until next time I'll see you guys when I'll see you guys!
