Haruka sat on the bed with Itachi right next to her. Both of them were in a staring contest... Almost. Itachi was amused at all of this while Haruka, on the other hand, was somewhere between grogginess and utter up at six in the morning on the bed of someone of the opposite gender wasn't how she thought she would be starting her day. Especially when the person in question was 'the Itachi' himself. "Umm... So, Itachi... What am I doing in here?" She asked a little unsure.

"I would like to ask that myself" Itachi lied. He was finally going to amuse himself with something, might as well do it right.

"What do you mean?!" Haruka asked a little loudly. Her sneaking into a male's room in the middle of the night is way out of question!

"You probably snuck in. You were drunk after all..." He knew he was enjoying this too much but he couldn't help it.

"You liar!" Haruka yelled with flushed cheeks as she jumped out of the bed. "I would never do that!"

"You never know..." Itachi trailed off knowing it would irk her to know end.

"Shut up!" She yelled again whilst searching for an argument. Only then did the events of the previous day occur to her... "Where were you yesterday?" She asked hands crossed against her chest.

"Had work" he gave a two-worded reply. He really didn't want to talk about it when the memories of a certain someone crossed his mind. In fact, the fact that 'he' brought 'her' home irked him to no end, but he realized that commenting on that would be like digging his own grave.

"I would like an explanation..."

"And I am not compelled to give you one" Itachi replied this time getting off of the bed. "Business always comes first" he said trying to sound reasonable. He hated himself for being so 'unsure' of his choice of words. He was being a little rude than intended.

"I see..." Haruka replied starting to get annoyed of his half-assed replies. "Well, we need to go to work now..." Saying that, Haruka left the room.

Itachi knew that he was in for trouble. Haruka never left an argument like that unless she was pissed off, which, in this case, she clearly was.

Sakura paced around the room not knowing what to do. She wouldn't let the entire school know of what she does. More than the fact that being a maid wasn't something to brag about, what bothered her was Sasuke's fan girls. They would probably rip her hair out when they find out she lives with their beloved 'Sasuke-kun'. When she asked the head-maid to let her swap duties with another maid, she replied with a firm "No" stating that the other maids had other things to do and only she could handle Sasuke and his lot.

"Umm... Sakura-chan..." A maid called out her name making her turn around and smile at the familiar face.

"Momoka, what is it?" She asked the other girl.

"The head maid wanted for you to attend to Sasuke-sama immediately" she said as though reading it out of a paper.

"I see..." How was she supposed to escape this? 'Argh! so frustrating!'... would she look different with a mole on her face. Maybe she should draw one, but then again… her pink hair was such a giveaway, wai-wait hair…"Momoka, you don't happen to have a wig on you, right?"

.

.

"How did you end up with this?" Neji asked with a tone that showed absolutely no concern whatsoever. Was it curiosity or simple courtesy, Sasuke couldn't really tell.

"Fell" he gave a one-worded reply, expecting them to buy it. Even if it did sound suspicious, they'd probably leave it at that. His friends -minus Naruto- weren't really the conversing kind anyway.

"Even an Uchiha can fall, huh? How troublesome." It was Shikamaru's turn to sympathize now. How or why it troubled Shikamaru was beyond him. But then again, that guy found everything troublesome... so, that's that.

"Hey Sasuke!" His best friend beamed at him. "I bought flowers. Roses... The ones you are allergic to!"

Sasuke rolled his eyes. "How grateful I am..." He said sarcasm dripping with every word. Naruto probably didn't know what 'allergic' meant.

"I know you are!" Naruto grinned as wide as he could. "Hinata-chan told me you would love it!"

Both Neji and Sasuke rolled this eye at this. 'How dumb...'

'Business comes first, huh? I'll show him how professional I can be!' Haruka thought to herself walking, or at least trying to, her office. She would've gotten a ride from Itachi, but she was far too annoyed to stay in a tiny, closed space with that guy. Hence, she resorted to using her legs instead.

The office in question wasn't really that far. Just a few blocks away from the mansion (still Kyoto). She could think of it as a morning exercise. Plus, all that job hunting, in the past, had her walking around much more than now.

After losing her way a few dozen times, she finally made it to the office. She looked at her watch that read '7:45'. She breathed out a sigh of relief as she wasn't expected to arrive until eight or so. She then walked into the giant building before her ready to start the day.

.

Itachi sighed for the hundredth time that day. Haruka wasn't here yet! When he was about to leave this morning, he realized that she had already left without him. That only indicated one thing... The girl was angry, scratch that...very, very angry. Nothing surprising there, he was being an ass in the morning- not that he would admit. Hell, he'd rather die than admit to that!

He knew he should have brought her! Knowing the girl, she was probably lost somewhere. Grabbing his keys, he was about to go find her when the girl occupying his thoughts -a lot- lately walked in. She looked at him briefly then when to her desk. Pulled out some papers and began scratching things down. Was she ignoring him right now? Because if she was, she was being way too obvious. 'Whatever...!' he doesn't really care anyway!

Sasuke was starting to get bored and a yawn escaped his mouth. His buds weren't much of a help either. Naruto and Shikamaru were playing video games... Naruto was winning for once. In Shikamaru's defence, the poor guy probably isn't even awake anymore.

Neji, on the other hand, was reading a book like the nerd he is. Just then a maid entered the room... And Sasuke almost spat out the water he was drinking. Sakura in black hair... Not something you'd see everyday.

Nobody bothered to turn around, knowing that it was probably a maid doing her job. Sasuke on the other hand kept staring at her every move. Much to Sakura's dismay.

'Look away!' She signalled with her eyes. But, Sasuke only smirked in response. 'Can't he do at least one good thing in his life...?' Sakura thought to herself as she placed the tray containing food and drinks on the table a little too hard for her own good.

When she'd asked Momoka for a wig, the girl looked at her suspiciously but didn't ask further. She disappeared to god knows where and came back later with a wig that was similar to Hinata's hairstyle, only the wig was black. Why the girl had a wig with her was a mystery yet to be solved. Anyway, Sakura was very grateful. Promising to take good care of it, she rushed to her room to get changed and now here she was. Pretending to be someone she wasn't. 'It's for the better good.' she reminded herelf.

After a while, Sakura felt an unusual stare, not the ordinary Sasuke stare, but someone else.

She turned around to see Naruto staring at her. Great! of all times the guy chose to be observant it had to be now. He continued staring at her for sometime before asking "Where is my ramen?". Sakura almost breathe out a sigh of relief 'thank goodness he is Naruto!'

"I'll bring it right away!" She said and exited the room, happy that she could make it out of that suffocating place safely. 'Just a little more and I can take this thing off me'

.

Was she too soon to judge? She couldn't really tell. The annoying guys-minus Neji- decided to stay over for the day. She was destined to have trouble 'knock her door' all the time!

The entire time Sasuke made sure she was in the room by making her do completely unnecessary chores like bring him tissues. Why would he need them anyway?

Sakura also had to talk as less as she could possibly do, lest Naruto recognizes her voice. But she doubted that it would actually happen. Knowing the guy, he probably wouldn't notice even she walked around without the wig. He was that stupid. But she still held on to the wig for precautionary reasons.

"Hey! Miss maid..." Naruto called. To the ordinary ear, that would've sounded a little rude. But, Sakura knew that the boy meant no harm.

"Yes..." She gave a one-worded reply.

"Can I get more Ramen?" He asked politely. Sakura sighed at this. This guy needed serious medical attention. His love for Ramen is unhealthy! Nodding her head she turned to leave when Naruto stopped her, yet again. "There something on your hair." He reached out in an attempt to take it off.

"It's OK!" Sakura exclaimed moving back. 'Gosh! This can't be happening now!' She kept backing away from the guy who she doubted knew the English language. Couldn't he understand that she didn't want his help?!

"Naruto... Your character just died." Sasuke said calmly sitting on his bed. As soon as the words left his mouth Naruto went back to his game. Guy's love for video games... sometimes, even Sasuke couldn't understand being a boy himself.

Sakura smiled gratefully at Sasuke for his help. Mouthing a 'thank you' she exited the room. Sasuke had no idea why he did what he did. Maybe he was just holding onto his plaything… after all it would absolutely boring without her around for him to bug.

Haruka was trying her hardest in ignoring Itachi, but, it was starting to get harder with every moment. I mean, try sitting right across from him for three whole hours and see if you can resist his handsome, serious, working face. Plus, everyone knows no Lady can resist a man in suit...' Can't resist? Gosh! What on earth am I thinking!' Haruka mentally slapped herself and tried harder to focus on her work.

Now that she thought about it, she wasn't really angry at Itachi for ditching her but because he didn't give her a proper explanation. Looking at him work, she knew that he wasn't really having it easy. He had late night meetings, thousands of employee concerns to look over and don't bring up those paper works...

All in all, even as his secretary she couldn't really do much to help him. So she could understand why he didn't come. But it made her a little disappointed that he didn't confide in her more. 'Does he think I am not worthy enough?' She thought to herself. What was she thinking? Itachi probably never even thought of her as a friend...

"Haruka..." The familiar sound of Itachi pulled her out of her thoughts.

"Ye-yes" she stuttered standing up a little startled. Itachi gave her look but didn't ask further.
"I want my schedule rearranged. I have a meeting with my uncle later at10" he said in his business-tone. Haruka replied with a 'yes' and that being said he turned to leave. He had a boardroom meeting to attend. 'Those old-annoying men...!'

Haruka looked at his retreating figure and sighed. Great! Another thing added to the already huge list of things he had to do. 'No wonder Mrs. Mikoto wanted for him to visit the amusement park and spend some time outside the office!' She felt a little bad for ignoring him...
Dismissing all thoughts thoughts of Itachi, Haruka decided to focus on the work at hand. 'Gosh Haruka! You are getting paid for this... Get your head out of the clouds already!'

"Hey..." Haruka suddenly heard someone tap her desk... Impatiently might I add. She looked up to see an unknown person standing by her desk.

"Who...?" Haruka asked a little unsure, she managed to keep it polite though. 'Must be some client...'

She thought to herself. But, the lady didn't seem much like a normal client would. She was breathtakingly beautiful, with ginger hair and light brown eyes. Her clothing and the jeweler she wore screamed wealth and she held the air of superiority that rich people normally held…

"You don't know who I am?!" She exclaimed in an overly feminine voice.

...and an obviously bitchy personality, jut like every other rich people out there.

"I don't think I do..." Haruka said in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Gosh!" She said dramatically fanning herself. "I am the world renowned model, Sayuri Furukawa!"

"I see..."

"Were you living in some cave?!" She exclaimed -even more dramatically- flipping her hair. Trying to make herself look more... Appealing.

'Does she realize that I am a girl too?' Haruka thought to herself. Not clearly understanding the point in trying to look pretty before her. "What are you doing here, miss Sayuri?" Haruka asked ignoring the other girl's previous insult.

"I am here to meet Itachi"

"I am afraid he's in a meeting. And you'll need to make an appointment before you can meet him."

"I am a close friend. I don't need to make appointments!" She said stressing on 'friend'.

"Friend or not. You still need an appointment, miss Sayuri" Haruka said forcing out a smile. "Please leave today and come back later. I'll be sure to inform Itachi"

"Huh... Whatever" Sayuri said turning to leave. Haruka was glad that the girl didn't catch on to her slip up. How could a mere employee call the CEO by his given name without adding any 'Mr.' to it. She was obviously getting way too comfortable around Itachi.

.

Itachi was back from his very long meeting and was surprised to find Haruka still there. It was already seven, about time she left. The girl really didn't have much to do today as he would be leaving after a while to the two meetings he had already arranged earlier. He didn't take her with him because one, they were so damn boring and that would make Haruka giddy. She isn't used to staying bored for too long (Something he learned from their trip to Kyoto). And two, he didn't want to overwork her. She was already double tasking by being his painkiller.

"You haven't left yet...?" Itachi asked as he approached the girl seated on the couch in his office.

Haruka jumped up when she saw him. "You're back!" She beamed at him. It didn't take a genius to figure out that she wasn't angry anymore, much to Itachi's relieve. Good for him she was not very keen on being angry for too long

"I made you a cup of coffee... It should be cold by now. I will reheat it. Wait a sec..." Haruka said making her way to the coffee machine.

His painkiller was back in business he

thought as he made his way to the table... Almost. He suddenly felt pain shoot through his head and his it felt heavy. Everything around him turned blurry and before long, everything was black. And the last thing he heard before his sudden collapse was a faint "Itachi!" From the other occupant in the room.
