Secret Report

Among one of the many worlds I have encountered I came upon that is very unique compared to the others.

A world of advanced science and scorcery, ruled by the struggle between superheroes and villains.

A superhero is a term used to define a person or creature who uses power, ability, or technology beyond that of the general public, in the pursuit of good.

Superheroes come in various types:

· regular vigilantes who use natural prowess, advanced technology, or a combination of the two

· magic-users or extraterrestrials who use abnormal powers

· metahumans or bang babies

· regular human beings who use alien or magical technology

The term metahuman is given to those who had their genome mutated to give them extraordinary powers. It was during this time I met with a powerful sorcerer named Dr. Fate and we exchanged knowledge for what seemed to be a very long time. Dr. Fate was a human who wore the Helmet of Fate, a powerful object that contained a spirit named Nabu who was a Lord of Order, brought to this plane of existence to protect the world's balance. I learned so much from our exchange and we parted on good terms.

It almost saddens me to think this world might be a battleground one day.

Dr. Fate was someone I could immensely respect and his knowledge almost eclipsed everything I had learned during my time as an apprentice. I spent many nights, working to memorize the endless books he kept in his tower before my time there had ended. I do not know if Fate ever knew of the ambitions in my heart but I respected his wishes at all times which included not revealing my magic to the world or the existence of the Keyblade and to never enter areas of the tower he had made restricted to me.

I know I would have done the same in his place.

When it was time to go I traveled across this world, watching the battles between heroes and villains from afar. I could only imagine how Eraqus might have reacted in a world like this. Still, I sensed great forces of Light and Darkness on the move and that I perhaps had been noticed so I took my leave and continued my journey for knowledge.

But I never forgot.

Sometime after my arrival I met someone from that world who was different than anything I had ever encountered before.

A body without a soul and yet retained its heart.

His name was Slade and he was a man lacking in morals but had survived his death through a stroke of sheer luck. A demon named Trigon had saved him from permanent death, albeit losing his flesh and blood, and promised to restore his life in exchange for his survices. Given the nature of this demon neither Slade nor I expect Trigon to fulfill the agreement and thus Slade has worked on finding a way to protect himself from the demon's likely betrayal. Slade's undead nature allows him to leave Trigon's world and travel to other worlds, an impressive and powerful ability.

We exchanged knowledge of worlds and magic for a time, he showed what he knew about the ancient order that originally imprisoned Trigon and I showed him the power of the Keyblade, the history of the Keyblade War and the legend of the X-blade.

We both had our plans and we went our separate ways, not expecting to see each other again.

Fate has a habit of defying expectations.

"Last time on Total Drama: Birth by Sleep, Terra had his time in Toon Town, taking the time to race and learned about now breaking the rules and all that boring jazz."

"Luckily, Jo of the Dark Keybladers showed up to give us some much needed action."

"I told you to get out of here!"

"Make me!"

"I will!"

"I'd like to see you try!"

Chris growled, rubbing his head. "Oh believe me, I will. So now in the meantime we are going to check on Mike and see what is he up to. All here on Total Drama-"

"Birth by Sleep!" Control Freak finished.

"GET OUT OF HERE!"

"I SAID MAKE ME!"

Chris screamed and tackled Control Freak to the ground, the camera going out and going to an intermission.

"So, if you get your hands on the Keyblade you get the literal key to ultimate power. How interesting." A cold, yet composed voice mused. "Truly but how does this benefit me?"

"Simple real."

The room was dark with no other sounds heard other than two figures who were talking. A figure stepped towards a large screen as it switched on, showing the image of Mike wearing his Keyblade armor and was on glider as he traveled between worlds.

"You see, the Keyblade can unlock the heart of anything, including the hearts of the worlds that make up this universe." The second speaker said. "But you can take it a step further. Whoever reaches the heart of all worlds can become the most powerful of all known as the King or Queen of Hearts."

"Hm…Catchy."

"Control the Keyblade and you can be the one who reaches the door to that heart. Of course, he needs to be a lot stronger to reach the door. He is just one of several with the potential to open the door or become the blade we need but the boss has his eyes on this one and I think you will after you see what he can do."

"So, you offering me an apprentice? How kind of you."

"And this." There was a quick flash of light. "A little bit of magic, exactly like you had before. Help us and you can get what you want."

"…An interesting proposal. Let us see what comes from it." The man said, stepping into the light.

He wore a mask, the left side orange with a single black outlined eyehole, while the right was solid black with no eyehole. There were also four parallel holes, two on each side, where his mouth was. He wore what seemed to be a black body suit that covered his entire body except his lower torso and forearms, which were gray. For his arms, he had black gauntlets, gray gloves and wore a gray utility belt.

He had overlapping armor in certain spots of his body. The first was a gray neck guard that goes to his throat and to his chest, a guard on both shoulders, forearms, over his gauntlets, one for each of his thighs, knees, the top and soles of his feet and finally a gray sash wrapping horizontally around his torso.

"So we have a deal?"

"Indeed." The man held up a hand and from appeared a ball made of fire. "Your master and I are so very much alike, it is only natural I would accept."

"Mike…" Zoey stepped towards Mike. "Do you…Remember me?"

Mike looked at Zoey and was about to answer…

BOOM!

The three Keybladeers looked up and saw an explosion on the small crystal floating above them.

"What was that?" Zoey asked.

"Just my master having a little fun." A familiar voice said behind them.

A portal of Darkness opened up behind Mike just as he turned around and was greeted with the sight of Mal's foot slamming into him and knocking him into the portal.

"Mike!" Zoey screamed as the portal vanished.

Xxx

"Where did he come from?"

"From some kind of portal. It was similar to the kind of portals I use. I sense a form of magic from him that's different than anything I have seen before."

"I've run him through our database and he doesn't show up."

"Perhaps he is from another world."

"I ran a bio-scan. He's completely human."

"He has no criminal record but we should keep a close eye on him when he wakes up."

"Who is there?" Finally having enough to listening to the voices around him, Mike opened his eyes and sat up.

He appeared to be in some kind of infirmary and he easily spotted the source of the five voices.

The closest was a boy around his age, wearing green tights with black ankle-high steel-toed boots, green elbow-high gloves, a short-sleeve green t-shirt underneath a red armored vest with a yellow letter 'R' inside a black circle over his left pectoral muscle, a yellow utility belt and a black cape that has a yellow interior. He wore a black-and-white domino mask over his eyes, and usually has his black hair spiked backwards. He had light skin and an athletic build.

Next to him was a teenage girl who looked very beautiful. Her eyes, nose, lips, mouth, hair, skin, and outfit view her as colorful in comparison to other girls Mike knew of such as Gwen. Her growing long fiery-red hair was down to her waist and straight with bangs. She had small eyebrows, and green eyes with light-green scleroses.

She was tall, with bright orange skin and her outfit is mostly violet with a glowing belt, her neck corn collar and gauntlets being silver with green jewels. She also wore a silver armband on her right arm and wore a sleeveless crop top showing her midriff, a stem stalk mini-skirt, and thigh-high boots all in violet, and her tight-high boots have white stockings. Near them was a tall dark skinned young man, his body looking nearly completely machine except for half of his face.

Next to him was a green skinned teenage boy with matching hair and eyes, pointed ears and a single fang sticking out of his mouth. He wore a black and purple body suit with black purple sneakers, grey gloves and a silver belt.

The last was a girl, same age as they others with what appeared to be pale grey skin, amethyst eyes and short lavender hair that with a jewel on her forehead. She wore a black long sleeved leotard under a blue cloak with a red clasp that had the symbol of a raven on it.

Well, this was about almost the oddest group Mike had come across.

"Stop the show!"

Chris growled, glaring at Control Freak. "You don't stop the show!"

Control Freak ignored Chris as he took a good look at the screen and paled. "They're back."

"They're…" Chris smirked. "Back huh? Aren't those the guys who used to wail on you when you were a wannabee villain instead of a wannabee host?"

"THIS IS NOT GOOD!" Control Freak panicked, turning around and grabbing Chris by the collar, shaking him very hard. "WHAT IF THEY KNOW WHAT I DID?! WHAT IF THEY COME AFTER ME?!"

Chris pushed the little nerd off him. "Oh right, you altered their reality. Turning it into-"

"Don't say it!" Control Freak shouted. "We don't speak the name of that reality here! This is a The-Realty-That-Will-Not-Be-Named place!"

"Dude, I think they forgot you even exist so does it really matter?" Chris rolled his eyes.

"It so does! I need to make sure they never learn what I did. Which means I have to get far away." Control Freak ran out of the room, slamming the door and Chris was pretty sure he heard a car speeding away.

Not that he cared.

"It's good to be alone now." Chris laughed and looked back at the camera. "Sorry about the interruption, folks. We will now get back to our presentation." He pressed a switch and music started playing.

And now back to the show…

"I'm Robin and these are my friends: Starfire."

The red haired girl happily waved a hand. "Greetings."

"Cyborg."

The...cybernetic man offered a friendly smile. "Yo."

"Raven."

The cloaked girl offered a simple nod.

"And Beast Boy."

"What's up?" The green skinned teen greeted.

"We're the Teen Titans, the local heroes and you are in our home, Titans Tower." Robin finished with a friendly smile.

"Teen Titans?" Mike raised an eyebrow as he rubbed the back of his head. "Can't say I have heard of you guys?"

"Really? Come on! We saved the world like…several times." Beast Boy boasted.

"Sorry, I am kind of a traveler and I've been all over the place. Must have been too far away to hear anything about you." Mike shrugged. "Sorry."

"It's okay. We are not big on fame, no matter how we might act." Robin said kindly. "Actually we are kind of wondering of where you might have come from."

Starfire immediately floated up to Mike. "Yes, you suddenly appeared on the roof of our tower. You must have fallen a great height if there was no ship above us."

"I did?" Mike wondered. "I fell onto your tower?"

"Sure did, man. I picked up some crazy energy signature and when we got to the top all we found was you out cold." Cyborg cut in.

"I sensed something as well. It felt like a portal." Raven said, staring directly at Mike. "Are you some kind of dimension traveler?"

Mike gulped. "Seriously? What gave you that idea?"

"You did. Just now." Raven answered blankly.

"Uh…" Mike hoped master Eraqus wouldn't find out about this or he would be in big trouble.

"Cool, a dimension traveller." Beast Boy said, walking around Mike. "Been to any neat places?"

"That would explain why his quantum signature doesn't match ours. Nothing outside of our universe would have a different signature." Cyborg cut in.

"Uh…." Mike was still struggling to find words.

The number one rule of being a Keyblader was not to reveal yourself or the existence of the Keyblade to any of the worlds they travel to.

And he broke that rule before he had woken up.

"Please new friend, tell us your name." Starfire kindly spoke up, pulling Mike out of his thoughts.

"Oh, it's Mike." Mike answered honestly.

"Greetings friend Mike!" Starfire said happily.

Well, he was not off to a bad start. Maybe he wouldn't have to explain too much about himself and he could get back to finding Zoey and Gwen.

Just before he could say anything else a red light flashed across the room with the sound of klaxons going off following.

"Trouble!" Robin said sharply.

A computer on Cyborg's arm beeped urgently. "Intruder alert. We got company. Security systems activating."

Throughout the tower automatic doors closed off rooms and hallways, windows were sealed and advanced blasters activated, searching for any intruders.

"Cyborg, have you picked up the intruder?" Robin asked.

"We got…A dozen signals appearing in the tower." Cyborg reported, typing on his wrist computer. "They're moving fast but the systems not picking them up."

Mike watched the walls and spotted the intruders. "Unversed!"

The Titans watched as Flood Unversed emerged from the walls, surrounding the entire group.

"Dude, what are these?" Beast Boy asked, watching as the Unversed slowly moved towards them.

"They're called Unversed and they are bad news." Mike answered, summoning his Keyblade.

"Good thing we deal with bad news." Robin replied, pulling out a small rod that extended into a bo-staff. "Titans, go!"

Robin jumped forward, swinging his staff at the nearest Unversed, easily destroying it on impact. He spun around, swinging his staff around but the Unversed dodged his staff. The Unversed lashed forward, moving at high speed they swarmed Robin but the leader of the Titans held his own, using his staff to block and knock them away. Three Scapper Unversed jumped at him, slashing with their claws but Robin blocked and dodged each claw and immediately counter attacked.

Starfire held up her hands, eyes glowing bright green and she let out a battle cry. From her hands and eyes came beams of bright green light that destroyed any Unversed they touched.

"Don't know how you guys got in," Cyborg's right hand changed into a cannon. "But I know how you are getting out!"

He aimed and fire, releasing a beam of blue light that destroyed several Unversed caught in the attack. A Bruiser Unversed jumped up, dodging Cybrog's cannon and slammed its belly into the cybernetic hero. Cyborg fell down but rolled as the Bruiser jumped at him again. Letting out a battle roar Cyborg punched the Bruiser right in the face, sending it flying into the wall.

Raven was next, holding out her hand that became engulfed in a form of black energy. Mike had to stop, sensing a strange form of darkness as several beds were picked up and hurled at the Unversed. Strangely, the Unversed leapt at the incoming beds, passing through the black energy surrounding them. The group watched as the energy surrounding them was absorbed by the Unversed as they landed, slowly growing in size.

Raven's eyes widened in surprised. "They absorbed my magic."

This had never happened before.

She's fought magical creatures before none of them could absorb her magic like these creatures could do.

"Raven, look out!" Beast Boy shouted, turning into a bull and slammed into the Unversed that had moved to attack her.

"Thunder!" Mike shouted, conjuring bolts of lighting that struck all of the Unversed.

The Titans covered their faces due to the bright light caused by the lightning but when they opened their eyes they saw the room was cleared of all creatures.

"They are gone." Robin noted, even though it was obvious.

"For now." Mike replied, lowering his Keyblade.

"What were they?" Beast Boy asked. "You said they were…"

"Unversed and they are a lot of trouble." Mike answered, dismissing his Keyblade. "Chances are we have not seen the last of them."

"What are these Unversed?" Starfire asked.

"Not entirely sure myself. All I know is that they can show up almost anywhere and they cause trouble. Oh, they might be with someone. A guy in a mask." Mike explained, trying to remember all the details.

"A guy in a mask?" Beast Boy asked, not sounding very impressed.

Mike shrugged. "His name is Mal if that clears things up. I've been seeing messes like this happening in other worlds for a while now and I guess this world's next."

"We won't let that happen for long." Robin's bo-staff changed back into a small rod. "First off, we make sure there are no more of these Unversed left back in the tower. Cyborg, head up to ops and run a full scan."

Cyborg nodded.

"Everyone else, split up and check every corner of the tower. These things got past security so we can't rely on scanners to make sure they are all gone." Robin continued. "Beast Boy, you and Starfire check the basement."

Beast Boy and Starfire nodded.

"Raven, you go with Cyborg. If these things can absorb your magic we don't want them getting stronger if they come after you." Robin continued.

Raven didn't look happy but she nodded.

Robin then looked at Mike. "Mike, you and I will be looking around the upper levels."

Xxx

"Not bad. They don't seem weak as I thought they would be."

"Don't underestimate. They've taken the worst this world has to offer and not only survived but won."

"Then it's a good thing I am not from this world. I think I'll go and introduce myself."
