~I do not own Lab Rats~

Mr. Davenport's POV:

When the car is parked, Leo and I hop out and he heads into the house. I first go to the backseat and carefully bring Bree out of the car, while carrying her bridal style and placing her head on my hand for support.

Once I step inside I instantly place Bree down on the couch. The door opens behind me and Chase steps inside. He says nothing as he moves to the side so Douglas can get in with Adam in his arms. Douglas places Adam in the chair closest to the door, but makes sure Adam doesn't fall off.

"Now what?" Leo asks in a slightly perky voice, and he receives a small glare from Douglas who struts straight into the elevator without answering Leo's question. He stops for a second to gesture for Chase to come with, but he puts his hand up to stop me when I try to come.

"Wait, you're making me stay?!" I ask angrily. Douglas nods before turning on his heels and going in the elevator, with Chase right behind him. Right before the elevator doors close in front of them, Chase gives a small wave and wavering smile. Then, they're gone.

"You must've really forgiven Douglas to trust him alone with Chase in the lab," Leo comments while heading for the fridge. He opens it and pulls out a pudding cup, and then opens a drawer for a spoon. I only roll my eyes as pudding instantly appears on his face after the first bite.

"You're right, I would have to. Too bad I don't that much," I smile and tap on one of Eddy's many screens. He appears right away with a glare.

"Hey! Just when I was starting to rest!" He complains in an annoyed voice.

"Sorry Eddy, but I need you to keep an eye on the lab for me."

"Can't I just put it on my screen for you because watching requires too much work."

"Eddy!" I yell.

"Fine," he grumbles and disappears.

As soon as Eddy's figure has disappeared, a groan emits from my left and I am instantly alert. I fall to my knees next to Bree as she starts to twist and turn while waking up. She swings her arm to her right and hits me right in the face. I groan as her hand makes contact with my nose, and my hand instinctively goes to it.

"Sorry," she barely mumbles and brings her arm back up. This time her hand goes to her head and she starts to rub it. "Ugh, why does my head hurt so bad, I feel like I've been hit by a truck."

"You should feel that way for a little while, but you'll be fine."

"W-what happened?" Bree's eyes flutter open and she instantly squints at the light. I'm about to answer when another groan catches my attention, and I am right at Adam's side.

Adam's POV:

Ugh, my head is pounding. What happened? I try to bring my hand to my head, but my arm doesn't want to respond. I groan as my arm continues to resist me, and the soreness in my back decides to show up. I can barely sit up without slumping forward.

"Adam?" A voice says my name, but it sounds so far away. "Adam, it's me, Mr. Davenport." Mr. Davenport? Wait, I know a Mr. Davenport!

"H-hey, I know someone with that s-ame name," I slur.

"Yes, Adam, that's me," he says with his voice becoming clearer. "How do you feel?"

"Me? Oh, I'm alright. I just feel all dizzy and sore and like I stuck my head in the toilet again. Did I?"

"No, no, you and Bree passed out."

"Oh, why would I do that?" As I ask my question I slowly open my eyes and in front of me is Mr. Davenport, and next to him is, Mr. Davenport. "Hey, how do you do that?"

"Do what?" He asks confused.

"Make two of you, could you teach me that someday?" I ask dizzily. My head sways around and my eyes land on another figure in the room, Leo. "Hey, is that my pudding?" I notice the pudding right away.

"Maybe..." Leo puts the pudding behind his back, but speaks in a guilty way.

"It is, isn't it?!" I practically bolt straight up to try and get my pudding. The keyword is try because I almost land straight on my face, but Mr. Davenport catches me before I do. "Hey, why is everything upside down?" I ask as Mr. Davenport places me back onto the chair.

"Adam, you need to stay down, you're not well enough to stand up yet."

"Fine," I frown and cross my arms which are now reacting to me.

"Can you just tell us what happened?" Bree asks.

"Oh, yes, right," Mr. Davenport straightens up. "Chase's override app glitched and disconnected your bionics causing you two pass out."

"Oh, I remember now," Bree suddenly says. "I saw the strange look on Chase's face, then Adam passed out, and then I remember the feeling of shutting down and then there was darkness."

"Wait, where is Chase?" I ask while looking around as my head starts to clear up.

"In the lab, with Douglas," Mr. Davenport says the second half in a quiet voice, but I'm able to hear it.

"With Douglas!" Bree yells as she bolts up and onto her feet, fortunately she does not fall like me. "How can you trust to leave Chase alone with him?"

"I don't," Mr. Davenport answers as he walks over to the wall. "I have Eddy to keep on eye on them for me." He taps the screen, and Eddy's annoying form shows up.

"What?" Eddy asks obviously annoyed.

"Can you show us the lab?" Eddy sighs but he disappears, and the lab shows up in his place. Everything looks normal to me and it seems to be so for everyone else. Chase is in his capsule and Douglas is doing a few things on the cyber desk that are effecting Chase. He appears to be fine.

Suddenly, there's a large flash, a scream, and the lab's picture disappears.

Third Person POV:

"Eddy!" Mr. Davenport yells at the screen of his home system. "Eddy, what happened?!" He ferociously taps the screen, but Eddy never reforms. "Come on, something's happened." He doesn't waste a second in rushing for the elevator. Leo and Bree follow right behind him, but Adam is still too weak to come.

"Sorry, Adam, you'll have to stay," Bree takes notice of Adam's struggling form. He stops trying to get up, and slumps back into his chair. Bree gives an apologetic look before stepping into the elevator.

"Ugh, this elevator is not going fast enough," Mr. Davenport groans while angrily hitting his fists against the doors of the elevator.

"Mr. Davenport, don't worry, everything's going to..." Bree's voice trails off as the doors open and reveal a pitch black lab.

"Chase!? Douglas!?" Mr. Davenport yells while rushing into the lab, and while trying his best not to bump into anything.

"O-Over here!" A voice calls out in the darkness, and Mr. Davenport releases the breath he didn't know he was holding when he recognizes the voice as Chase's.

"Chase, is Douglas with you?"

"Yeah, I'm here," Douglas answers for Chase.

"Hold on, let me see if I can get the lights back on." Mr. Davenport reaches a panel on the while and starts to play with it a little, before the lights flicker a few times belfry they fully come back on.

Bree and Leo's eyes instantly wander over to the back right corner, where Chase and Douglas lay huddled next to each other.

"Are you two okay?" Bree immediately asks before Mr. Davenport can as all three of the rush over.

"Yeah, I think so," Chase answers.

"Good, you had me so worried," Mr. Davenport relaxes. Before Douglas can react, his brother has him on his feet and against the wall. "What did you do?" His brother snaps.

"It was a simple miscalculation, that's all."

"A simple miscalculation? A simple miscalculation! Douglas, your 'simple miscalculation' could have seriously hurt one or both of you."

"I understand that Donald, but I-" Douglas starts to inch away from his brother, but is instantly pulled back in the middle of his sentence.

"No, just please don't say anything. Nothing you say right now could calm me down."

"How 'bout this, I fixed Chase." Mr. Davenport instantly releases his brother, and Douglas falls to the floor.

"You what?" He asks shocked, and Chase brings himself up from the ground with a smile.

"He fixed me," Chase smiles.

"He did? He really did?"

"He really did," Chase gives one of the biggest smiles he's given in a long time. "No more glitching for me, and just in time for school too."

"Only you would say something like that," Bree jokes.

"I'm so glad that you're okay," Mr. Davenport smiles and he and Chase share an embrace.

"What, no thanks?" Douglas asks as he stands back up.

"Oh, right, you," Leo groans only in a half fake way.

"Yes, Douglas," Mr. Davenport straightens up. "I'm not sure how to say this, but, thank you."

"For..."

"For helping, and possibly saving, Chase."

"You're welcome."

"We should probably head upstairs and share the good news with Adam," Leo mentions.

"What? Oh, yeah, we should probably do that," Mr. Davenport says. They all silently agree and head upstairs.

When they arrive, Adam is sitting up on the couch with pudding in one hand and a spoon in the other. He's too distracted by the TV to notice the presence of his family.

"Adam, hey," Chase gives a small wave and takes a seat next to him. Adam stops eating to face Chase.

"You're okay? You didn't get hurt or anything."

"No, and shouldn't I be asking you this? I'm not the one who was unconscious."

"I know, but you're my little brother; I should be looking out for you, not the other way around."

"Thanks, but everything's fine now, no more glitches."

"None?"

"None," Chase smiles and Adam returns the favor.

"Now that all this has ended, I really should be heading back to my cell." Douglas says in a depressing way and Mr. Davenport sighs when he realizes what Douglas just said.

"No, no you don't," he says.

"I don't?"

"No, you saved Chase when I couldn't, and it can tell that you've changed. So..." Mr. Davenport opens the door and gestures for Douglas to leave.

"You're letting me go?"

"Yes, and I'd leave now if I were you, before I change my mind."

"Right, of course, goodbye, and I hope we see each other again soon, but on good terms this time."

"Bye Douglas, thank you." Chase smiles and waves to Douglas, who smiles back and exits without another word.

"Anyone up for a movie and popcorn?" Leo asks while placing a back of popcorn in the microwave.

"Sure," Bree and Chase agree in unison.

"Yes!" Adam cheers and rushes to pick a movie.

"Mr. Davenport?" Chase looks to him, and he sighs with a small smile.

"Sure, why not?" Mr. Davenport joins them on a chair, and Leo joins right after with the popcorn.

If you would look at all of them right at this moment, you would never know what they all have been through.

~ The End ~

A/N: You cannot say that I didn't warn you about how late this chapter was going to end up being posted. I kept telling myself that I would finish this chapter, and I had about half of it done so late yesterday I forced myself to finish it. When I started this chapter I decided that this would be the last chapter and there are no more parts. I did, however, already post another Lab Rats story, Cave-In, that I would invite all of you to read!

Review Replies:

daphrose: I agree that the override app can be difficult to write because they've only shown it twice, so you only have a vague image of what it can do. Hmm… CHAD? I like it, especially because of what you made it stand for, and I really hope that I don't have to worry about it showing up near me. Grandma? You must've really done a number on Chase, but now that he has amnesia you can make him do or think anything you want. He could become your own bionic slave. I think I should stop now; I'm starting to think like Douglas. Anyway, thank you so much for always reviewing on all my Lab Rats stories, and I honestly look forward to your reviews the most! :P

Avengers13: I don't have any more popcorn, sorry. Also, it looks like there won't be any more glitches anytime soon. Thanks for all the reviews you've given throughout the two stories!

Catfloppy24 (Guest): Oh, well, what's you wattpad? I would love to read it on there. Mine's Banana8050, so I'll look for you. When does tennis start for you? All I have left it is the banquet.
